WARNING!!! THEY DO NOT PROVIDE HEADPHONES. I was told that ear plugs were all that were necessary. Meanwhile, people were shooting AR 15's and I recieved a concussion from the impact, along with permanent ear damage. That was believably irresponsible. Went to this fine establishment to purchase some guns and ammo for my country estate. It was a Saturday range was busy store was empty except for 2 employees behind the counter. I was immediately greeted when I walked in by a very friendly black and white dog. I petted the dog on the head and they followed me through the store. I looked at all the guns in the display cases and not once did any employee except for the canine pay any attention to me. read more

Associates need improvement of their interpersonal communication skills. Also, they have an inventory of used firearms for premium prices. When trading in they lowball on price picking out small issues for example a holster mark,but their used guns are gold and ask top dollar. Range is decent but no bonus when dealing with appears to be associates that seem to be bothered when asked a question or having to assist with sale. read more

Great range. Very clean. I've never been to a range this clean before so kudos to them keeping on top of it. I brought my own weapons and ammo but you can rent a variety of weapons to shoot. They offer targets and ammo as well. What really surprised me was the mechanical lanes. No pulley system! Range officers put safety first which is paramount. They require eye and Hearing protection and give you a brief but thorough safety brief. Very professional overall. They have a fairly large parking lot. Restrooms are cleanly and they do offer hand sanitizer at the door. If your looking to have a little fun for a few bucks definitely come here. read more

Pretty solid range. Range has a max of like 30 yards however, very clean and pleasant to shoot in. There's lots of guns to look at to purchase. I've never rented a weapon, as I have my own but they have a decent amount to rent. I highly recommend the yearly membership so you don't have to pay a lane fee every time you go and shoot! Great indoor range and for the winter months in Upstate New York, I highly recommend it. read more

Went there just to buy some ammo. They served me immediately and had a very nice selection. On the expensive side but it is not their choice to add taxes and background check fees, those bring the cost up quite a bit when buying a single box of rifle rounds. I'd come here before for my birthday last year and had a terrific time. So much so that I decided to go again. This time, however, I was sorely disappointed. While the clerk working the desk was pleasant, the range officer was arguably one of the least helpful I've ever encountered in my entire time visiting public ranges. He was rude and condescending towards me and treated me like a nuisance. Rather than trying to be helpful he chose to keep belittling me for supposedly not aiming properly. I was so on edge from his constant criticism that I hit two target holds whilst trying to adjust to sights of the gun I'd rented. After I hit the second target hold he told me that I was one strike away from getting kicked out. By this point I had had it with this office's attitude and didn't bother attempting another shot. Instead, I put down my rental and departed of my own volition. I understand that range officers are responsible for keeping people safe but this range officer seemed to be on a power trip and spoke to me as if I was a mentally challenged toddler. To the best of my knowledge, I didn't commit any egregious safety violations but the way in which I was spoken to indicated otherwise. I truly feel bad for any aspiring shooters who visit this range and have the misfortune of dealing with this surly individual. New shooters, do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere. This place is not worth your time. Then again, I could say the same thing for every other public gun range in the state of New York. read more

Brutal experience. Wanted to take my son shooting for the first time & this place ruined it. First rifle we rented was the PS 90, they said it's a little hard to load, no problem, bought 100 rounds, turns out was IMPOSSIBLE to load. I managed to get 12 rounds loaded and shot them. Even the range guys helping could not even load the magazine. Ridiculous. This rifle shouldn't be an option for customers. Went to the desk and asked for the "easiest rifle to load" bc of all the time wasted with the first one. They refunded the one box of ammo I didn't use, bought another 100 for the next rifle. Load the mag, my son fires one round, malfunction!!!! Guy clears it, I shoot 1 round, MALFUNCTION!!! Guy comes over & says let me get you a new mag. Finally works but at this point my son & I are done with this shit. Fired maybe 30 rounds total & left!!! I told the guy give the box of rounds to someone else!!! The staff was overwhelmed, 1 range guy couldn't load 1 round into the PS90. Hopefully someone reading this learns from this post. Get the easiest rifle to load & shoot & you might have an enjoyable experience unlike my son & I!!! read more

I went with my three little nieces (11,13, and 15) years old to let them have their first experience with a gun. Everybody at the range was awesome. First they had a ruger 10/22 that was all decked out like an assault rifle with a red dot scope that the kids thought was so cool. Then they let all three girls share a single lane saving us $50. They gave the girls a very thorough safety overview and someone stayed in the lane with us the whole time couching the girls, helping the load the magazine (10/22 magazines are a pain), and teaching them how to shoot. It was a level of service I never expected. Highly recommend them. read more
