The staff were very helpful. Didn't make me feel like an old lady.! Classes I took were helpful. Two private lessons were very good as well.

The staff must be undertrained or not with it... I came in with a rifle to sight in because my normal range was closed. I let the person know at the front what kind of rifle and what caliber it was. They let me in to the shooting range, just to be kicked out without a refund (before even loading the rifle) the range master said that they don't allow 308 fire. read more

Just an unfriendly environment to go shooting. The RSO was aggressive and the store really seems set up for members not single users or guests. I come into two 2-4 times a month and decided to give them a try. The targets are held up by wires which can break easily and you will be charged $50 for them. The pully systems for the targets only work in some of the lanes. They insist you buy and shoot their ammo only, you can't bring your own even if you purchased it locally. They have Fionacci which I had never heard of but they claim is really nice for $13 for 50 9mm. Not bad, but a lot more than I pay for my high quality stuff when I purchase in bulk. I won't ever go back. There is another place not far away that's much more friendly and has a better facility as well. read more

The instructors are very patient and knowledgeable. I recommend getting a package of lessons if you're new to shooting or want to gain experience. The exercises and types of drills will increase with your progress. I recommend Lansing as your instructor if you need extra patience. You will gain confidence and learn something new with every lesson. read more

Being a real newbie to shooting and gun ownership, ATS was highly recommended to me. After pondering long and hard, I decided to go for it. I have taken two instructional classes, and received my pistol permit. I returned when I was ready to purchase and happy that they had guns for rent so you can determine which is best for you. I test fired several pistols, after which I made my decision and purchased a gun - from American Tactical. I am now taking private shooting lessons - the instructors are the best around!! My advice - stop in. Any one there will be happy to take the time and answer any questions you may have. read more

If you're into shooting or are new to the sport this is where you need to be. My personal experience with them is for pistol classes and private pistol lessons. If you're shopping for a new handgun and don't know what you want they have dozens of rentals you can try out. The one on one lessons that are available there are the way to go, I have taken several and am planning on taking many more. From not knowing how to shoot a pistol to putting rounds on target very consistently, they instructors are very knowledgeable and will work with whatever skills you do or do not have. The lesson is full hour of 1 on 1 instruction and is very informative. The facility is well maintained and employees are always ready to help out. read more

Was back to training last night. First time in about three months Lansing is my instructor and he is great. Cool,Calm, and collected. I never handled a gun before getting my permit and started private personal training classes. Lansing is soft spoken emphasizes the importance and safety of handling a gun i'm very proud of what i accomplished due to Lansing's Direction I recommend any woman thinking of educating their selves in handling a gun to do it. Nice shop with helpful staff. I stopped in here once to pick up a holster and they had a pretty good selection. I also asked if I could see the indoor range. It happened to be empty and they were happy to give me a tour of the range and talk about the facility. read more
