Overall I had an excellent experience here in this store. We were able to locate shoes that fit him comfortably and even with his wide foot we were able to find shoes that he was able to say fit perfectly for him. My son is also very picky with the type of shoes he gets he does not like to get just plain shoes he likes to have some type of color to them and he was able to get a really nice looking pair of shoes that were not overly priced but looked decent as well. Overall it was a very good experience and he left happy andar wallets left happy as well because they had a buy one get one 1/2 off sale so my wife was also able to get a pair of shoes for herself. The reason for the lack of the one star was because of the fact that they only had one person on the register so the line went halfway around the store when you are going to check out there should have been more people checking people out so that we could keep the flow of people moving in that store. Despite the fact the only remaining competition in the immediate area is the hopelessly poorly-stocked Target (and for work shoes, the fairly decent Mohawk Army-Navy) this location continues to drive me to other shoe stores. Their selection for kids shoes is poor. The stock in general seems to be very hit or miss; they are incapable of keeping all the sizes for a given model or style in stock, apparently, and seem to be randomly completely out of some sizes. The staff is very helpful and will help you with fitting if you ask, but tend to be occupied in the front of the house with customers at the checkout line. For adults, they have far far more selections for women than for men, and pretty much everything is now seriously overpriced. We kept checking in here for boots, good shoes, tennis shoes, etc. when we needed them because it's close but as the Mrs. has put it, if I have to get shoes that aren't really what I want I may as well pay $20 at Target instead of $50 or $60 at Famous Footwear. So, we're now giving up and not bothering any more, despite the relative convenience, because it is a huge waste of time. Better to drive 20 minutes to a place that's more likely to have what we want.

It is located on the second floor where Lord and Taylor was once located, and above the soon to open Primark store on the first floor. Dick's Warehouse offers reductions up to 70% and has new weekly markdowns. It is a huge space with lots and lots of merchandise. Most, but not all of it, appeared to be wearing apparel. My wife got a good deal on a pair of sandals.

REI has opened at Crossgates Mall where Forever 21 was previously located on the upper level…read more The store's footprint is smaller than what Forever 21 had occupied. While Forever 21 had two entrances from the upper parking lot, REI has only one entrance. That second entrance and former retail space has been turned into a passageway with seating leading directly from the parking lot into the main concourse of the upper Mall level. From inside the Mall this passageway can be found between Lululemon and OraSempre, directly across from Michael Kors. REI has basically an outlet atmosphere - concrete floor, steel girder ceiling. Since I was there the day after their grand opening, there were plenty of signs announcing additional percentages off. You do NOT need to purchase a one-time co-op membership to shop in the store. Staff we encountered were helpful. Several times I was approached by an employee and asked if I needed any help finding something.
