Arnold has been far more than my lawyer. He has been a mentor who has guided me through all of my legal issues that were complex. What sets him apart is his remarkable ability to break down sophisticated legal concepts in a way that I can clearly understand, without ever being condescending or dismissive. I genuinely admire how Arnold presents options thoughtfully, offers his candid recommendations, and yet never imposes a course of action. He consistently empowers me to make the ultimate decisions, which has given me legal confidence as both a business owner and a leader. Because of Arnold, I am able to make educated decisions while knowing I have the most incredible Lawyer by my side to help when needed. Arnold clearly values women in the workplace and is deeply supportive of young female entrepreneurs such as myself, particularly those of us navigating male-dominated industries. This was very important to me when looking for someone to work with me. His advocacy, mentorship, and integrity have made a lasting impact on my career, and I am profoundly grateful to have him in my corner. Anyone would be lucky to have Arnold and his Team--I am incredibly thankful for them.

Our situation is complex with a lot of moving parts, and he was able to offer clarity on a few things we hadn't considered before. He's a very friendly guy who will tell it like it is - which we appreciated. We're grateful for the time he gave us and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others looking for guidance.

I strongly recommend Rager Law, as they are professionals, and act that way. Calm, casual,…read moreconfident. I had the misfortune of needing legal advice from an employment attorney. I reached out to three. Jeff Rager was the first to respond and was very nice. (Mind you, I typically steer very clear of attorneys.) The second firm replied, but after a couple emails they referred me to Rager Law, because of who my employer was. The third never responded to my note. I worked for Kaiser Permanente and had some trouble. I only reached out to get legal advice, after spending a year trying to get some sort of meaningful dialogue. Being pointed to different people, who then referred me to other people, and relying on policies that had good intentions, but were not followed, I was exasperated and stressed. I knew how a pinball felt, getting bounced around only to fall into a hole and start over again. Eventually, I decided to hire an attorney, I hoped someone would listen to my lawyer and I could get back to work. I had a good reputation and loved helping people. I loved my work, my patients, and my co-workers. I knew that I could not lower my stress with overly aggressive and mean representation. I needed integrity and nice people. I'm so glad to have had Rager Law with me. The kind tone of communication was nice and respectful. When the other side was late getting something to our team, Jeff would alway give them the benefit of a doubt. Jeff and his team remained firm and professional, without the bad behavior. When things needed a stronger tone or action, Jeff and his team were right there, and stayed respectful. They were with me for the long haul and were confident in their abilities. They know their law and lean on the right way to do things. I felt safe with a legal team with such integrity and polite ways. There were boat loads of records, and they went through everything. When it came down to it, we agreed to settle. I didn't want to spend the next years with this stress hanging onto me. I wanted to get on with my life. I heard the pro's and con's of my decision, and while we had a very very strong case, I decided to move on. Going to court would have yielded more money, but it wasn't about that - to me. I felt good about the settlement, which was enough to get attention on how not to treat people and do the right thing, and also catch me up with savings. Employers only change behavior if it's expensive to continue the bad behavior. I hope I helped start some kind of meaningful change. Finally, the fee schedule. I appreciated that the fee schedule changed the more the case progressed. At first I was, "that's a lot," and it was. Other firms were a tad higher. In the end, I feel like Rager Law more than earned their share. Their support had comfort, confidence, and was an absolute value. Now that everything is done, I feel like I have a distant friend in the legal world. They are really that nice. I can't say enough good about Rager Employment Lawyers. I offer you this, it's best to reach out early and not become exasperated with worry and stress.

I feel fortunate to have come across David Browne and his team of legal professionals. Because of…read morethe business I am in, I've worked satisfactorily around lawyers in the past. However, after only one meeting, I could tell right away that David (and his law firm) was different. To begin with, his intake team was thorough, inquisitive and worked diligently to determine if my case might be a mutual right fit - based on my goals and what was legally provable and possible. David, an obviously busy, bright and in demand professional lawyer, surprised me with his ability to show compassion and offer sensible guidance. His no-nonsense, honest and integrity-filled approach to the issue(s) at hand helped to alleviate my anxiety, and also made me feel heard and less alone. His understanding of the law and his ability to share it in relatable ways was a (much needed) relief. Though not every case will or should move forward, David's input helped me to consider my options in a more thoughtful way. What I will always remember is the kindness, and compassion shown me by David and his team at an unfortunate point in my life. Though for personal reasons my family ultimately decided not to open a case, I would wholeheartedly recommend David Browne and his Browne Employment Lawyers practice to anyone who needs it. Best wishes to anyone who finds themselves on this journey...

Pat represented me as the plaintiff in litigation against a city government my former employer and his preparation, advocacy, and command of the facts were remarkable from beginning to end. The defendants never lost in trial, and Mr. Barrera's ability to present a compelling case, highlight his courtroom presence, and navigate complex legal issues ultimately resulted in a judgement victory! Yes this was a huge WIN. I nominate Pat Trial Attorney of the century. Having worked with professionals across both the public and private sectors I haven't met someone with this level of integrity and humility. I have developed a strong appreciation for excellence in leadership, strategy, and execution. Pat and his whole office team exemplifies those qualities at the highest level from the minute you first handshake. He is, without question, one of the finest trial attorneys in the State of California and beyond. If you need an attorney who combines integrity, intelligence, tenacity, and exceptional courtroom skill, Pat Barrera is an outstanding choice. I offer my highest recommendation. God bless this man, his firm and team.

I provided them with documentation, emails, HR records--everything they asked for. Their paralegal even followed up to confirm my interest and requested additional materials. I complied every time. Then, after weeks of silence, they finally declined to represent me in June. Not because the case lacked merit--but because of "workload." By then, months had passed and my statutory deadlines were dangerously close. Let's be honest: this isn't about bandwidth. It's about fear. No one wants to touch a case that exposes institutional fraud tied to state funds. So instead of being transparent from the jump, they slow-walked it and left me hanging. If you're facing real retaliation--don't count on this firm. They may say they fight for workers, but when the fight gets ugly, they disappear.
