I had a chip very close to the edge of my windshield. An attempt to repair it was made, but it cracked instantly. They filled that larger crack and stopped it from spreading. I was able to make an appointment for the next day and they had the windshield in stock. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning and NOVUS came and picked me up with their shuttle service. The new windshield looks great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I tend to get a lot of rock chips, and if it happens again I am definitely going to NOVUS from now on.

After a quick chat, and explaining to her that I was at work and couldn't bring it in but I was also heading to NB and really wanted this fixed before I left, she said she'd send someone to pick up my car. I was skeptical but less than 10 minutes later the Service Manager arrived at my office to pick -up my car. He took my car away, fixed the crack, and brought it back to me within 90 minutes. Once he arrived he showed me the work, explained everything he did to fix it, we signed the paperwork and he let me know about the lifetime warranty. He left his card in case I had any questions and told me not to hesitate to call. It was SO easy and SO quick that I will be recommending Speedy Glass to EVERYONE I know. I was so excited to learn they could do all the repairs for me at a fraction of the costs from my windows company. I called a few other companies to see how much their costs were but Speedy Auto Glass not only beat the other prices but they did it so quickly. My big window was repaired the next morning, the curio glass was repaired after that AND it was only $15 with tax to fix. The small bedroom window is on order and it won't cost me very much for Speedy Auto Glass to put in the new glass and repair it for me. I am to happy and amazed that I found the perfect place with very friendly and helpful service personal along with VERY cheap reasonable prices for all my window repairs. Now there's MORE DAMAGE than before I dropped it off originally. The wiper sprayer wouldn't spray and the paint was poorly poorly done. They made me come back to repair their mistakes and made it a huge problem. Not only did I have to arrange my whole day to be here. They sent me off 5 minutes later to schedule ANOTHER appointment. I brought it back. Within 1 day I receive an email "car is ready" I show up and what do you know. MORE DAMAGE than before. This is most unacceptable behaviour. Not sure if it's an insurance scam. But BEWARE! Do not go to Carstar on Horseshoe lake drive. Your brand new car will look worse than the actual accident. Bravo to Carstar. My 2026 Honda looks wrecked!!!!!!!

Carstar can't get any of their own business, it's ONLY insurance companies sending them cars because they're so cheap. Also there are 139 of validated complaints in the BBB about this company and they've only been in Halifax for 5 years. Filing a complaint with the BBB takes a long time, you need proof etc. and they have nearly 140 complaints that the BBB said "yep, these guys screwed you". There are body shops who've been around for 50 years and don't have any validated complaints against them. STAY AWAY from this chop shop, or be faced with multiple visits, damage to your vehicle and then eventually suing them. Save yourself from this scenario.
