Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Would def recommend to other landlords in NJ especially if your portfolio is growing and you cant manage everything yourself anymore. 5 stars from me

When we reached out for help, instead of standing by the work or honoring the 2-year warranty against cracks and depressions, the owner became defensive, dismissive, and ultimately insulting and unprofessional. Despite the written agreement stating that damaged asphalt would be removed and grading completed as needed, the owner later re-characterized the job as a "cap" and refused to offer any meaningful support. When I brought up the contract and asked reasonable questions about material quality or prep, he responded with sarcasm and personal insults, and calling our church's decision-making into question. This is not how a professional contractor should treat a customer, especially a church that paid over $40,000 for the job in good faith. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for paving work. If something goes wrong, don't expect accountability or even respectful communication.

I don't understand these other reviews, except to say that they must be by people who have a grudge. How can someone who lives in Florida live in building NYC? I looked up 710 and it is a co-op, so the management company is not who you would call. You would talk to the super first. They have always been very responsive to calls. The daily management of a building is left the supers of all co-ops, with the co-op boards making guided decisions about the funds and making other decisions about facilities. Maintenance of most buildings is usually managed buy the superintendents, and ours have always been great. We have had mostly incremental assessments over the time I have lived in the building, with the big ones to be expected of a pre-war building. A friend who is a real estate broker said that he is relieved when a building is managed by Blue Woods because he knows that the sale will go smoothly. While I have mostly dealt with the founder, our building is managed by Steve Wilson, and remains one of the best managed buildings in the neighborhood.

During the 3 years that BW managed my building - they took very little responsibility for the upkeep of the bldg (daily and preventative maintenance), mismanaged our funds, and had no concept of how to leverage basic technology (i.e. email management)... I would not recommend them!!
