We've been coming here for over a decade and will continue to use Adobe for years to come. They have handled each one of our pets with great and professional care. Jessica has accommodated us by squeezing us into a busy schedule when possible due to unforeseen circumstances that come with having pets. We appreciate all the dedication the staff has provided and we feel this place is honest and affordable above other vets. The experience with the doctors at Adobe is always amazing! The care and love they put into your fur babies is always shown. Front staff are always so fabulous and allow you to feel heard with concerns or worries! The manager Jessica is another story.. rude, smug, entitled, are just a few to name when dealing with her. She rushes you or ignores you unless she knows you or you don't irritate her at that moment. I don't believe office managers are allowed to try to take over when animals are having procedures done on them either!!! She's bringing down the Doctors hard work and it's so sad. Hopefully a new manager will be found! She's not cut for it. Adobe is the only reliable vet in town, and it's sad to see it go down the drain due to one employee. read more

Went for a visit with my dog paid in full before leaving. Receptionist called me a few days later saying they accidentally forgot to charge me for something (a small service fee) and wanted my card number over the phone. She Refused to let me pay cash in person... they wanted my card number to put on file, so they can charge it when ever they make a mistake again. Sketchy business practice. Again. I paid in full at my visit. Now Refuse to release my pets info cuz my credit cards not on file! read more

Went to this office on Mon. June 16, 2025 to take me kitty in because she hadn't eaten in two days. I was told they are not accepting any new patients. I asked if I could make an appointment for the future and was told I would have to call each morning to see if there were any cancellations. Appt. are only made if there are cancellations. Not going back there.... read more

Once Dr. Thompson phased out of seeing patients this vet has lost it's appeal. We loved their old school approach of using methods that have worked forever. Now it's the new-aged, money grab beyond common sense. So the office is no different than any other in town. Appeal gone! read more

Came with a friend to the scheduled appts to finish up shots for puppies. The manager came out and was so rude and chastising to us both.. didn't greet us, just launched into a tirade about stealing appts. Got the scheduled shots, but I would never come back. It's a shame since the vet seemed nice. read more

I have been going to Adobe Vet Clinic for some time. Dr. Thompson Sr. and Dr. Thompson Jr. are wonderful. I LOVE all the staff. A big shout out to Jessica and Kayla. I had to but my sweet little dog to sleep two days before Christmas. It was a hardest decision. Jessica help me so much. I would recommend Adobe always. read more

I just rescued a 2 year old dog. I took her here to get her rabies shot, stitches removed, nails clipped. I had a 4 oclock appointment and since I have never taken my new pet to the vet and we were just getting to know each other I was not able to tell her not to bark, she would not listen to me. I am 70 years old and disabled. They told me I would have to leave. Go back down the hill and wait in the car. I had to have my husband's help to get up there in the first place. The staff in the front was yelling at me and the dog to shut up and stop barking. They are rude and embarrassed me in front of the other patients. I will never go back there again. Thanks to the folks at Adobe this morning, I received a surgical estimate for my pup that was 1/2 of what my "old" vet quoted. They were patient, explained everything and made me feel much better about the procedure than the "old" vet did. They're a bit hard to find behind the new restaurants on Yucaipa Blvd. but I'll make my way around the In N' Out traffic for the personalized service. My pup loved the treats too. read more

This office is rude and the Vet won't ever talk to you about the care and recovery. One of the least professional offices Ive ever had to deal with. Don't waste your time talking to the Office Manager either, she is symbolic of why this office is terrible. She's always rude, and doesn't care about the animals they treat. read more

At first, you may like this Veterinary office, but after using their services for a few years, (or less) you may have a different opinion. The doctor, Dr Thompson is nice enough maybe a bit behind the times, but I really don't have issues with him. It all comes down to the office manager Jessica, she is abrasive and really only interested in her way. There are usually a few ways to approach things, but not with her, it's her way only, she will make that very clear. Something as simple as a refill for doggie ibuprofen (Carprofen) turned into " we need to have labs every month" and we highly recommend this other injectable drug at 100.00 every few months. Carprofen only needs labs every 6 months, but she was trying to get me to put my dog on the other drug so she made it so difficult to get the carprofen. I have had enough I have used many Vets over the past 40 years and she is not worth the hassle. I hope you have a better experience read more

There is literally not enough room here to say all the positive things about this facility. Dr. T and Dr. Nelson are the most honest compassionate veterinarians I have ever encountered. But what makes them even better (if that's possible) are their support staff. Jessica and all the other staff here (sorry to those I didn't mention) are always willing to fit us in and treat our animals. I have been to many different vets but Dr T and his staff are the only ones I will let my animals be treated by. He even makes his own ear solution that is more effective and cheaper than any store bought/made solution. Thank you adobe clinic for all that you have done. Irritable staff on the phone. I am new to the area and trying to find a great Vet for my two cats. After articulating my concerns about my kitten and asking if I should just talk to the Vet, which I asked first, before launching into my questions, I was transferred, after a game of telephone, with someone in the background, to an abrupt, grouchy tech. She could have said "I am sorry, you need to schedule an exam with the doctor." but no, she repeated answers that weren't pertinent to what I specifically asked then finally said make an appointment. She wasted her time and mine. Unfortunate. I will not be using this Vet due to this poor customer experience. If someone asks a complicated question, you don't feel like answering or don't know the actual answer to, redirect them to the Vet. Easy. read more

I took my cat in to get her teeth cleaned. AVC gave me the most reasonable rates, by far. I think it was $130 total, including anesthesia. Some other places wanted to charge me over $300! The receptionist was mostly helpful and the doctor was very nice. Upon picking up my cat the next day, she seemed well-cared for and her teeth were MUCH improved (as well as her kitty breath!). I am bringing back my second cat soon to get his teeth cleaned also..... I dropped the rating down a star because I recently took my 2nd cat in to get his teeth cleaned. He seemed fine when I picked him up the next day and his teeth were improved. I immediately took him home and went to work for the next 8 hours. But when I got home, his left eye was swollen shut & red!! AVC was closed and I called immediately the next day. They got him in ASAP and checked out his eye- they said something probably got into it during the teeth cleaning when he was anesthetized. I am very unhappy about my baby getting a swollen eye, although the doctor did try to make it right & didn't charge me to bring him in the next day. I'm not sure if I would go back... I love the prices, but I'm not sure they took the best care of my baby. read more

It's nice to see doctors practicing medicine again... So many doctors are so consumed by x-rays and other on needed diagnostics and not using the skills they learn in school. He's old-school he knows what he's doing and I appreciate that he doesn't kill you on the price. With so many of these chain VSA animal hospitals taking over it's nice to see the little guy still successful. And when my dog Lola let somebody opened her mouth without biting anybody he's got my vote! read more

I took my cat here as a young one, one year ago to get him neutered and micro chipped. I informed them I looking for a home veterinarian and was recommended the place and saw the good reviews. Front office staff were extremely nice and loved my baby they even said how well he did and couldn't wait to see him again. I called back today for his annual visit. It was not the same staff the lady who answered was very rude. She said "we don't do one stop shop visits." I told her My cat and I are customers and asked to speak to someone else after she insisted I couldn't have an appointment. The manager told me that they are short staffed and they have all kind of cats coming in who are homeless and mumbled something about the humane society. I don't know what happened to the place but I did tell her that I would go elsewhere. I love my cat and I don't want stressed staff who see my cat as a number caring for my baby. I hope they get the help they need as I hear the Dr. Is very good. read more

This morning was my first appointment for our cat at Adobe Veterinary. Most impressive was the attitude of the cat. She changed from being a very vocal and distraught cat to being docile and compliant. That change with the tenderness of both the Vet and his Assistant is enough for me to rate this business with 5 stars. read more

I recently rescued a kitten and was looking up places to get him seen at. I've never had a cat before so I really wasn't sure what to do and wanted to make sure he was okay but every place I called said they weren't going to be able to see him for at least a month, thankfully when I called here Isabel/Isabella (can't remember) was so helpful over the phone and not only gave me advice for my kitten but also told me she could get me an appointment two weeks out but possibly even sooner and sure enough my kitten was seen not even week later. The prices were also better than the others I called ,AND don't even get me started on how nice and friendly every one was, down to the adorable office cat!! read more

Dr. Thompson and his Staff are great. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats and have tried several local Vets, but wasn't really satisfied with the service/care. Dr. Thompson always seems to recognize my animals and give personalized attention. Adobe Veterinary Clinic is a small, hometown-type of office with reasonable fees.
