This is my third visit here, and I feel like that says everything right there--but I still need to say more. The first time I came, I honestly thought it was a fluke. The level of compassion, the patience, the fairness in pricing--it almost felt too good to be true. The second visit confirmed it wasn't a fluke. And now, after our third visit, I can confidently say: this place is truly special. I brought in my sweet chocolate lab, Blue, who was dealing with a pretty bad ear infection. From the moment we walked in, the care and attention we received were on another level. Derek took the time to thoroughly clean and flush her ears--not rushed, not careless, but gentle and intentional. He even showed me how to properly do it myself at home, which I appreciated more than I can say. That kind of education and transparency is rare. Then the doctor--Dr. A (last name started with a Z, I wish I remembered it better)--absolutely blew me away. Instead of jumping straight into the exam, he took the time to connect with Blue first. He recognized immediately that she's a sensitive girl and doesn't love strangers. So what did he do? He got down on the floor with her. He talked calmly, gave her space, and let her come to him. Within minutes, she went from anxious and panting to calm and trusting. I've never seen anything like it. He was then able to examine her completely--from nose to tail--without stress, without force, without fear. That alone speaks volumes about his skill and character. What also meant a lot to me is that he took the time to listen to everything I had to say--even my more holistic approaches (as my husband jokingly calls it, my "hocus pocus"). He didn't dismiss me. He respected me. He explained things clearly and made me feel confident that my dog is in great health overall. He also had an honest conversation with me about the risks of not spaying at her age, but in a respectful way--no pressure, no judgment. They truly respect your choices as an owner while still giving you the information you need. That balance is rare. At a time when so many places feel rushed, transactional, and overpriced, this clinic is the complete opposite. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, and fair. This is my Peggy June I had to let her cross the over the rainbow and was told that before they have her cremated they would have a paw print done and that there eases me cause I can do a collage of photos with the paw. Today I called and got an answer back someone there office messed up and didn't put it in the computer and now I have nothing only a memories and pictures. Even though the girl offers a card of her nose print and a paw I really wanted the clay mold. 210.00 is not what was important it was this sweet loving dog I see before me as a memento. I feel like I'm dying all over again. I'm very disappointed on how someone in the office just didn't double check while putting it in the system or telling the place she was cremated at. read more

We had to bring our sweet Olive in about a month ago to be put down and as horrible and sad this day was, it was definitely eased by how kind the staff was. Especially Jamie one of the techs there. She was understanding and patient and really made this day less painful. We have been to many vet offices in the area but I think we found our new home. read more

I chose this clinic because I wanted a local appointment for both of my dogs to get an exam, update their vaccines, and get flea medication. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, there was nobody in the lobby or parking lot, yet I still ended up waiting an hour and a half. They repeatedly sent in a student who seemed unprepared and lacked basic communication skills. I was initially quoted around $400 for just one dog for a rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, and a six-month supply of flea medication. For both dogs, the total would have been close to $1,000. When I told the student I only wanted the rabies vaccine and flea medication to lower the cost, it still took a long time for her to come back with a revised estimate. Meanwhile, I went to the front desk and saw three office staff/vet techs sitting around while I continued waiting. At that point, I was frustrated and asked to be checked out. They then charged me an $11 waste fee. When I asked what it was for, they said it covered waste generated during the visit. My dogs didn't even allow a rectal temperature, and no gloves were used during the exam, so that charge felt questionable. On top of that, they wanted to charge another $10 fee just to dispense the flea medication. Overall, the wait time was unacceptable, the pricing was excessive, and the extra fees felt unreasonable. I was looking for a compassionate, affordable and available vet clinic and I discovered Green Valley. The reception is always friendly and professional. The vet team is outstanding. They walk you thru the needs/condition of your pet. The vet tech, Derrick, is outstanding in terms of communication and the treatment. They don't "upsell" needless treatments. I drove a few hours on recommendation from my parents to see Dr. Zielinski. My dogs are my pride and joy and we compete in dog sports and go hiking frequently. So I wanted someone that would handle them with care. I came in worried about an ear infection/allergies and Zielinski was very helpful and informative on different things I could try to set my dog Albus up for success. We got treated for an ear issue, and were given different products I could try to help him feel better. They were quick to schedule a follow up and the techs and assistants were informative. Update: while we got this sorted out the furst time I decided to give them a second chance and woudnt you know.. it happened again! then they made an excuse that one of the vetrs who does approvals is leaving and thats why it fell through the cracks.. Unbelievable!!! The fact that they dare make excuses then say im sorry about that. I used to bring my two dogs here all the time, but I will never return again. My dog had the librela injection, per the Green Valley vet's vehement recommendation. A few days later, my dog's hind legs started limping, then weakness set in, and shortly after that his hind legs stopped working all together. My dog loved walking before this happened, and now he is bedridden. He has also lost control of his bowel movement and has urinary incontinence. Green Valley never told us that this could happen. They ignored the FDA warnings about how a disproportionate number of dogs have experienced the same hind leg lameness. My dog can no longer walk, pee, and defecate on his own. He can't even turn his body. These are all side effects that Green Valley had a duty to tell its patients to get informed consent. More importantly, they should not have recommended this drug to my dog in the first place. I have talked to many other vets and did substantial research since this happened, and you should too if you're considering librela. There are safer drugs out there that are commonly administered by other vets. In fact, other vets were surprised to hear that Green Valley recommended this drug as a first resort. Look, you don't have to take my word for it, do your own research. My dog will never be the same. I now devote significant time everyday to take care of him since he can't even go to potty by himself. We called Green Valley twice to report what happened, and they can't even bother to return our calls. They are reckless and won't take responsibility for paralyzing my beloved baby. PSA: run from this place. I don't know what happened to this clinic. I used to trust them, but I will never ever go back. And I will tell all of my prior referrals to stop going there. This review is only for the front desk staff (excluding Skylar she is always so sweet and helpful) not the veterinarian. Let's start with the basics, this place is EXTREMELY unorganized. I tried getting a prescription refill and was told they would put it in right away, didn't hear back for a few days so I called and was told it was never put in, but they were doing it then. Called that same evening to make sure it was being processed, only to be told it was never requested. I ended up not filling my prescription with them, rather getting it filled at an emergency vet we later had to see. Next they are extremely rude over the phone (and in person but we will get to that) and rush you through any serious concerns or questions you might have. I understand being annoyed with phone calls if you work in retail, but this is healthcare, you should always have time to listen to the patients. Third when visiting in person you are never greeted or welcomed you just have to awkwardly wait at the desk for them to finish their phone calls. Which is crazy because, I can barely get anyone to talk to me when I call in. They will let you wait up to an hour without checking in with you or letting you know they are behind, or that they've taken 3 patients before you when you had an appointment and arrived early for it. Lastly my biggest issue is that any time I've had a problem with the staff, they get extremely childish, rude, and defensive. For these reasons I cannot pay to be treated like this. Highly recommend Redlands + urgent care. The staff is amazing and I never have to wait 3 hours past my scheduled appointment time. Green valley does not value their patients or their time or even respect us as people. The front desk is the biggest reflection of the establishment, and if they act like this when we're around them, I can't imagine how they treat the animals in the back who are not seen. Again, Skylar has always been great to us and we really appreciate her, none of this applies to her, she is actually the reason we gave this vet one last try. But unfortunately the other front desk staff are unprofessional nightmares with the worst attitudes I've ever encountered in the pet care industry. A shame. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My family and friends will never go to this vet again. I had been there once before, and while the staff was a bit rude, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it was just a bad day. So when our pup started limping, we decided to take him back to get checked out. Turns out, he had a CCL issue. They did radiographs, gave him some meds, a sedative, and a few other things--all of which added up to $900. Super expensive, but fine, I paid and submitted the claim to my pet insurance. The real issue--and the reason I'm writing this--is their complete lack of care or respect for their customers. After submitting my claim, I realized I needed SOAP notes to finalize it. I called the clinic, and they told me the notes needed doctor approval, which could take a couple of days. No problem. A week later, I followed up--turns out, the doctor had gone on vacation. They told me to check back the following week. Ok, fine, I waited. Called again--now the doctor was on vacation for another two weeks! Ok.... cool. So, I called back after two weeks, only to be told the doctor had a backlog of requests and there was no ETA on when mine would be processed. At this point, I'd called about ten times and kept getting the same excuses: "The doctor is in today, we'll remind her," or "She'll get to it soon." Yet nothing happened. The staff answering the phone clearly didn't care, and neither did the doctor. This was nearly $1,000 I needed reimbursed, but they acted like it was no big deal. After two months of this nonsense, I gave up calling and asked my husband to go in person. I didn't want to deal with them anymore. He walked in, asked for the notes, and--lo and behold--got them within five minutes. I'm glad we finally got them, but after the lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service, I will never go back. And I'll be warning every pet owner looking for a vet. read more

Have to be honest it's really gone bad the last couple years. Wait times are awful now even with an appointment they're overbooking by HOURS!!! Every time we go in with an appointment it's no less than a 2 hour wait! Always say they'll call you back but never do. Says the office manager has to approve estimates or review blood work or X-rays etc etc and you can't have any of the info bc the manager has to look at it first and they have to call you but that person will never ever ever ever call you back EVER. No matter how many times you call or follow up it'll never happen. My poor dogs need dental work and we're going on several weeks just to get a call back. At this rate we'll have to pay the insane price again for all the blood and urine samples plus the $65 fee they keep charging every time they make us come back for a follow up which you'd think would be at a lesser price like it used to be but those days are gone with them I guess. Been here over 10 years and spent tens of thousands on our pets here but this mismanagement of their new micromanaging business model where everything has to go through an office manager that never follows through isn't working for them or us. I think it's time for us to make our way to some better managed facilities. It's a shame. We accidentally booked our appointment at the wrong location and arrived at our usually vet, Green Valley. I was worried because my pet was not feeling well and after going to the emergency vet a few days prior and not figuring out what was wrong, I quickly made this follow up appointment in the hopes of some answers. Although my appointment I booked was not on their calendar, Derrick at the front desk squeezed me in an hour later and our fur baby was able to been seen and we left with the medicine we needed. The front desk girl Skylar is AWFUL! Called in for a frantic emergency and she hung up on us. Absolutely DISGUSTING behavior. Ended up having to take my pet to an emergency clinic that was 40 minutes away because Skylar said if we couldn't get there in 10 minutes they wouldn't see her (We live 20 minutes away, literally impossible). Called back to ask to speak to her manager and she never gave us the opportunity or received a follow up. For working at a veterinary clinic, you would expect empathy and understanding and she was the complete opposite. Also every time I've come into the office she sits behind the desk on her phone gossiping with her coworkers. Clearly doesn't take this job seriously at. all. In terms of the actual veterinarians Christopher is amazing. The clinic is limited in services, would recommend for check ups and/or simple problems but not emergency or serious health issues. read more

We have taken our French bull dog here on more than three occasions and today we brought him in just for a vaccine for his allergies. We had been told at many previous appointments that we can just take him in and pay for the vaccine yet we were charged a Vet Assistance Service Fee, a Medical Waste Fee, and the Vaccine. There is no issue paying for the vaccine but the other two additional charges were not planned for. On top of this, the veterinary clinician that took our dog back to vaccinate him was very rude. Before I state the negative, I'd just like to say that the last veterinarian I saw was wonderful, the techs are kind and the front desk staff are polite and pleasant. However, since this business incorporated, their fees are unbelievable. I have taken my dogs here here for the last 10 years, but never have I been charged such exorbitant fees!! I had the dogs in for their yearly exams, heartworm tests and vaccinations and the bill was very high. I didn't question it because I liked the vet and she did spend time with them, giving them good exams. However, I went in last week only for their Rabies shots, $231.00 .... just for the 3 vaccinations. UNBELIEVABLE. When questioned, the desk girl said that this was the new company's policy. Is it ok that you took blood and urine sample from my dog and now for months have refused to give me results? No doctor available, doctor will call you with them. No call back, No doctor available when I call. Flat out have not received them after numerous attempts. Finally months later I ask for a refund. You refuse to give me that as well. Manager will call you. No call ever received, I call again no manager available. I call again and You refuse to give me any response. The results were requested from the animal hospital that my dog spent two nights in. The same hospital your office sent me to. You also refused to send the hospital those results. It was time sensitive for follow up work. I needed those results. The hospital needed them. This vet clinic is absolutely amazing. Dr. Fai and her team go above and beyond for their patients. Both our cats have been looked after here and we have been treated with both kindness and empathy. For the last two months our cat Kalie has been going through on-going treatment for liver disease. Dr. Fai has called us on her own to check-up on Kalie multiple times, has done additional research into her condition on her time off, and has been extremely empathetic to our concerns and needs. Kalie was really declining quickly, leaving my husband and I questioning how much longer we could keep up force feeding her just to keep her alive. Due to Dr. Fai's diligent investigation and check-ups, she was able to add a steroid to Kalie's medication that has improved her condition dramatically. Trusting vet clinics and hospitals can be really challenging, but I promise Green Valley will take good care of you and you! Things to know: -Make an appointment (this is very easy and can usually be done same day) - You will wait a long time, even with an appointment. Plan to be there for 1-2 hours before seeing the vet, even with an appointment. You will get a room fairly quickly with an appointment and you will see a tech almost right away, but they tend to have a lot of patients and they are a small clinic. Once they take your pet to run tests, it can be an additional 2-5 hour wait to see the doctor again. I highly recommend running errands or going to eat. Be patient, the staff really does care. - Be transparent about your concerns and financial situation. The vet cost a ton of money, every pet owner knows that and shouldn't be shocked. Green Valley will work with you and you can ask which treatments are priority and space things out if your pet's health will allow it. - They take Care Credit! read more

Don't come here to euthanize your pet if you have a feeling it is their time to pass because even though euthanasia wasn't terribly expensive the cremation was several times more expensive than when we paid for my dogs at my local vet in the mountains just under two years ago. Here they charged me $400 just to cremate my small cat and I paid a total of $503. Most places charge $250 for larger dogs in CA. The highest quote I could find online for pet cremation was $350... I just don't understand... I was hesitant to bring my cat here but I was desperate. It didn't matter in the end but I never wanted to come here because my best friend brought her cats here years ago. A stray cat had kittens at her house and eventually she took them in for shots. One of them escaped out of the exam room window and they found him dead outside. So like, if you have a nervous cat make sure they have their windows closed. I'm not trying to leave a bad review to be mean but I sat there crying my eyes out and being told to pay double to triple the average amount to cremate my underweight cat for $503. To say it was a bummer is an understatement. They said I could get just the paw print for a lot cheaper as if I couldn't afford it (I was fully able to afford it but nobody wants to pay so much to end their pets life) It was just a shitty experience. Two weeks ago, I took my fur baby of 12 years to them because that was the only vet that could get her in. She was in congestive heart failure, and having trouble breathing often and on, so I had made the decision to have her euthanized well the young vet there would not do. It said she had to advocate for her patient she wanted me to put her on different meds. I told him I would try it for two weeks I said, but I don't want her to suffer well Saturday my babies lungs were filled with fluid. She couldn't breathe, and I had to take her to the emergency vet in Redlands where I had a layer to rest there I had told the vet at Green Valley that it was hard to make the decision to do that to her, but I didn't want her to suffer and she wouldn't do it so my baby did suffer. I do not recommend them to anyone where our fur babies are concerned it's a very hard decision to make. I've been so brokenhearted over it. I'm waiting until I'm more calm before I call and give them a piece of my mind. Do not take your fur babies there. read more

Not anymore, and this comes from someone who has been driving an hour each way, for the last two years because I moved and am no longer local. Read on, it's worth it. This place used to be so good. I've been coming here for almost 8 years now. I don't know what happened but in the last year something change. I recently adopted a old dog who had allergy issues. Brought him in as I already established this place as my primary vet years ago with my first dog. Waited a good minute to see the vet, got the run down of what to do and then a follow up appointment. Follow up appointment, dog gets taken back and they say here's another dose of ear treatment come back next week to see the doctor. Like why did I come in again? Why not just give two week dose if I'm not going to see the doctor. Talk about a money grab. Final straw, my dog that's been going here for 8 years, needs a blood panel to renew his meds. No big, done it before. I spend two hours waiting before the vet tech comes back and apologizes for the wait but he's ready to take my dog back for his blood panel. After about 15 minutes the front desk attendant informs me I can go get lunch because it's going to be another 45 minutes! I left the room and had to ask for my dog (because why would I leave him in a kennel for no reason?!). I then proceed to kill some time at a local eatery. Was told I'd get a call after the results were in (45 minutes right?). An hour goes by with no call. So I proceed to go back, walk in and meds still weren't ready. But at least I can say I finally saw the doctor and my dog is in good health. read more

Disappointed. Unfortunately I had high hopes based on all their positive reviews only to be let down. I had an appointment scheduled for 1pm, and received a call at 11:30am asking if they could push my appointment to 3:20pm. The vet had to perform emergency surgery and would not be available by 1. I understand things come up, and was okay with coming in at 3:20. I checked in at 3:10pm, and was not placed in an exam room till 3:50pm. The condition of the room was unacceptable. There was dog hair all over the floor, chairs, and exam table. I would expect the rooms to be wiped down in between each visit to prevent diseases from spreading such as parvo or distemper. Against my better judgement I stayed, and waited...and waited...by 4:10pm neither a doctor nor vet tech had visited me so I left. I asked the receptionist how much longer my wait would have been, and she couldn't say as the only doctor left was called in to the existing emergency surgery. Again, I understand medical emergencies arise, but communication on behalf of the doctor to reschedule my appointment before disrespecting my time would have been appreciated.
