Don't go to this place save your money, I would give it minus 10 stars if I could. We got a mix Donner he said they're making 300 naan so cannot give us naan, then because we were going to walk away he said the chef will make it....he then gave us a freezing cold naan with so less meat that the meat was finished in 3 bites, when I asked him for more he thought he will have to give it for free so said it will take 1 hour...what nonsense the Donner spit turns and in 2 mins the Donner is ready, when he realised I was willing to pay he gave me stale left hard Donner from the pot and charged me £5.95....we literally left that as it was so bad ... please don't go here....they cook at the back so you cannot see what they're doing unlike other kebab places that make things fresh Infront of you. Bad dirty shop the owner was sat on the best seat doing nothing instead of cleaning the floor and tables and not looking at the dodgy operation they're running...theis place should be closed down. I'm sure it's got bad hygiene rating as well.

Being a Londoner, and well used to Middle Eastern kebab places, when I ask for garlic sauce I'm really expecting the proper stuff. No mayo. Real garlic sauce is made from yoghurt. If Cosmos Pizza add real garlic sauce to their repertoire I will come back and 5 star. Before that day I'd recommend other mayo haters come to Cosmos Pizza armed with some sour cream from the nearby Taco Bell. I believe Iceland is also doing a good garlic sauce right now...

They got food and drinks out quickly, worked well as a team throughout our visit, and each dish was beautifully prepared. Saying that, there are a few "official" parking spots in front of the restaurant and if you get lucky enough, you can go in and treat yourself to the usual high standard of Turkish cuisine. Prices seem to have edged up slightly but they still represent excellent value for money. My advice is that, if you are going for lunch, skip breakfast, if you are going for dinner, skip both breakfast and lunch because the portion sizes are very generous. New Eltham Grill, what can I say?…read more Well first of all, i'm giving this place 5 stars, not because its my favourite restaurant/take out in the world, but as far as Turkish Kebab take outs go, this place is as good as it gets. Whilst a Doner Kebab is not exactly on par with a Tofu Runner Bean, Brown Rice Cherry Tomato salad, in terms of its detoxification effects, it IS quite satisfying late at night to quench hunger pangs. New Eltham grill does a very tasty Doner Kebab, that is not only never greasy but uses 'good meat' as far as I can tell. Personally, I often opt for the healthier 'Shish Lamb and Chicken' Kebab combo which is actually pieces of meat, as opposed to the random bits you'd rather not know about minced together in a 'Doner'. The Shish is charcoal grilled, is juicy and has a delicate flavour to it that doesn't make you feel sick 1 hour later. New Eltham grill don't stop there, the salad they give with their kebabs is always plentiful and looks green and lush, as opposed to rivals or the 'lettuce' used in a McChicken sandwich. They also give a slice of fresh lemon large and a couple of yummy jalepenos with it too, cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes, and a choice of garlic or chilli sauce as well as a fresh large white pita bread. The main thing that sets New Eltham grill apart from its rival kebab takeaways is quite simply, quality and quantity. Hence why I give it 5 stars, since it literally is as good as those kind of kebabs get! For the more adventurous of you, they offer Turkish (and also Middle Eastern) sweets like Baklava, as well as usual take out fare; Burgers, Fries etc.

He told me he always order take out from this place, and not to my surprise, we ordered takeout. For dinner, we ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab. To my surprise, these portions were huge and plentiful. However, what I like about this establishment is the fresh ingredients they supply. When they needed more lettuce, one of the employees took out a whole lettuce ball, and chopped them. I was astonished to see that they do things fresh from what I've seen. Tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce were fresh and vibrant. The chicken was moist and abundant. It was filling and I had leftovers. I was really happy with the meal we had. The time it took for us to receive order, on the other hand, took way too long. It was quite a while, but to be fair, there was a lot of people who have ordered before us. It was also amazing to see the high volume of traffic this place gets. The takeaway appeal it provides to its clients is highly efficient, but less effective if it takes too long.
