No one ever contacted us for any additional information. I called multiple times, left messages. No one ever called me back. I spoke with a girl that was at the front desk the day of the party she took all my information for us to get there and nothing was set up and she was the only working that day. & they still made us pay full price. After promising us an extra hour of party time we did not get because the facility closes at 6 and the party was supposed to be 4-6. We originally asked for 1-3 they told us no because there was another party taking place, then we find out there was never a party from 1-3. The party planner never showed up, I talked to her on the phone and she was not empathetic to our situation at all. If it wasnt for the front desk girl Arianna there would have been no party for my daughter. What they do here is not a small feat. What goes into to what they accomplish here is many man hours of a dedicated workforce. On top of those that are employed this place also depends on the many that walk through those doors and chip in whenever they can. While here I was told that some of the volunteer days that they have planned are booked months in advance. The facility is top notch and runs like a well oiled machine. However they have said that they have already outgrown this facility space. Even though that may be the case, they don't let that stop their mission. The families that the GPCFB reach are many and without them would not be able to maintain a home life that is perceived as normal. What little you can give is greatly appreciated and there are donation bins inside the front doors. Did you know that they get more donations for items that are considered junk food than healthy food items? That trail mix does seem nutritious, but what really helps them out was that fruits, vegetables, meat and the like.

My personal injury attorney referred me to 2 SNT companies. I chose LegacyEnhancement.org because Andrea Metcalfe the director was so sweet and convincing over the THREE weeks of calls I had with her before making the final decision to go with her company. I asked every question imaginable. I knew they "invested the pooled money" but I was LED TO BELIEVE that it was in safe investments like high interest savings, CDs and such. I even asked her if the interest on my money would cover my admin fees. She said most likely. Meanwhile, the interest on my funds did cover my quarterly admin fees HOWEVER my account was CHARGED HUGE LOSSES EVERY QUARTER listed as "Market Changes" that equaled $19, 873.00 over 12 months, MORE THAN DOUBLE the amount of Gov Benefits they were protecting for me! When I called, emailed and ended up begging Andrea to call me to help me understand how this happened, I got stonewalled completely. Not one minute of her time was given. I was referred to talk to my Trustee. By that time my anxiety was very high and when I mentioned that unless someone could make this make sense, help me understand how this happened, I was considering dissolving my trust. The trustee's reply had no kindness or compassion but rather took on a very snide tone and said "Well, you'll need a court order to do that." When I emailed Andrea again about her lack of transparency and as to what kind of investments they used the pooled money for, I was referred to go back and review - Article 2 Sec (b) Pooled Investments: The sub-account shall be pooled for investment and management purposes. That's it; the complete paragraph in their Joinder Agreement that defines how they're going manage the money in your Trust. That's their idea of transparency! As a beneficiary you have ZERO allowance or rights to view any accounting of how or what they invested in. For all I know, it's complete fiction, they stole my money and used the "market" as an excuse. Worst financial decision ever. Additionally, last year Yelp had a handful of bad reviews for this institution. Yelp wrote to me stating they were removing my review because it was vague. It was, because I didn't take the time to look up the exact details like I did today. This review is very concise and should not be removed. The fact that the others that were more detailed were removed too leads me to believe that it may be possible to pay to have bad reviews removed on Yelp.
