Our regular groomer was booked solid and we couldnt get in. Used Yelp to find Adorable Do's. We called to ask about dropping in for a nail clipping. They told us to come on. Every table had a dog being groom. They appeared well organized. One groomer held Scout while another clipped her nails. While they didnt buff or polish we were very happy with job and allowing us to drop in. We were in and out in 5 minutes. On the down side but definitely not a show stopper the shop was on the noisy side. But it was a happy noise of dogs and groomers. read more

I've been taking my dogs here for years, switched one time because I wasn't able to get an appointment for two weeks out because they're so good. Never will let that happen again took them to Lola bells and they quoted one price and when I picked them up they had almost doubled the price quoted. I was there several weeks ago with My ShihTzus, Shasta. The groomer I have, Ashley, She explained everything she needed To do, which never has been done for me. Ashley is the most courteous, and Thoughtful person that I have ever had. She goes above and beyond . There has been hateful groomers, Spiteful, and inattentive ones. I took Shasta to a groomer that was Recommended. This female took Shasta in the middle of our Conversation, and walked to the Back to her grooming spot and left her and came back , we finished Our conversation. I ask her please do not shave her but if she had to leave the hair about 2" long where she would not look scalped. When I picked her up she looked like A little scalped furr baby. The female also Said it! The female said , now she looks like a Little white sheep. That made me soooo sick I could have Thrown up. I paid the female and got out of There and vowed never to go back I wish i could say who this person Is but I won't, but if you all use her you might Know. Love these sweet ladies! The owner agreed to take on my 20 year old Maltese to groom. This was not an easy task. He was unable to balance himself very well and that can be a challenge when grooming. I was pleased when we started taking our 2 Bichon's over a year ago but I guess they have all new people there working now instead of the people that work there and they were beginning. Never been so disappointed they shaved my Bichon's because they were matted but I guess they were too lazy to brush them out first so they wouldn't have to shave them cut their tails cut their faces. They made them look like poodles and they thought that was OK after I said I didn't want that. They still did it anyway did not offer any Apologies nothing. Needless to say we will NOT take our dogs there again. This place has gone downhill and they don't care about the customer. They just care about getting dogs in , I know that if they wanted they could have taken a little extra care I don't mind extra fee but I do HATE my Bichon dogs looking like poodles charging you. My dogs are a little traumatized today hiding underneath chairs. Don't take your animals to this place. read more

I've been bringing my boy here for 4+ months (a golden doodle) and have always been satisfied with his haircut for the most part. But they never remember who we are. They are very rude when you walk in. Always saying "name" "what time was your appointment" like they act like you aren't suppose to be there. They never remember who I am although I've been a good customer for months now. Always tipping more then most as well. This place does not have the best customer service that's for sure. I posted on a golden doodle page about my boys haircut, (not saying it was bad but asking if it was a proper doodle haircut in general because I'm not sure what to ask the groomers for) and the lady who groomed him happened to be on that doodle page. She screen shotted my post and then posted it on a groomers page basically making fun of me for asking a grooming question and didn't even care to at least scratch my name or photo out of the screen shot. Her name is Rebecca Dixon. Although Rebecca did a good job at my boys hair, she is definitely not professional. This is my honest review! Very nice people, and this place came highly recommended, so I gave it a shot. The first time I took him, I was fairly pleased. However, when I took him back, this is the haircut he got. I asked for the Simba cut, or lion's mane, meaning to keep length around the face and neck/shoulders, and shorten the back. As you can see, it is extremely clear where the length separation is. There is no blend, but the reason for that is my issue. Australian shepherds have two coats, and the undercoat is not to be exposed. Australian shepherds are not supposed to be shaved, which looks like exactly what happened. He was shaved right down to the undercoat. Every time I look at him from the side or back it just makes me mad that I paid $65 for half his coat to be chopped off. I did explain that I wanted it shorter in the back, but I did not mean to take half of his coat off. Now I'm worried about the main coat growing back, and obviously cosmetically it looks... not so great. You can literally see razor lines. There's also a patch of hair around his butt, that's not part of his tail, so it's just a random patch of hair (I'm not gonna expose my baby with a picture of that though, lol). Overall, just very disappointed and upset. read more

What a great place! After 12 years as a vet tech, I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of animal care professionals, so I really wanted to find a groomer I could trust here in Mobile. I called Adorable Do's after a call to another place left a bad taste in my mouth. I was sort of feeling panicked when I spoke with Dana, asking if she could accommodate my sometimes-unpredictable mixed breed dog. She said no problem, and that it was fine for me to stay with him until he was done. We arrived just before 7:30 the morning of our appointment, and the ladies were already there starting their day. Dana worked so sweetly with my dog, praising him the whole way and explaining to me what she was doing. I immediately relaxed and so did my dog. Once Dana decided to remove the muzzle, he barked and wagged his tail so happily! I am so happy I found this business. Next time, I won't hesitate to leave my dog in her care, knowing that she was so nice to him and he loved her. Their prices are very reasonable as well. read more

The plus comes when you see that all grooming takes place up front in full view of the patrons. Dana understands how stressful it can be to leave a pet for grooming . If you have a fur baby who is elderly or has a medical concern, this is comforting more than I can say. I'm so displeased.. I came in today with my yorkie for a simple cut. When I tell you the face was chopped up it was tore up. One side was longer than the other and to top it off there was hair that was half way chopped off dangling. He was covered in clippings still. My Poopa (a cocker spaniel) was up in age. She has been groomed regularly for 16 almost 17 years. After I took her to Petco and had a wonderful experience there the next time I left her I no sooner got home and got a call saying I needed to come pick her up she was too old for them to groom. I then went to Petsmart and I told them she has arthritis and bone spurs and she wants to lay and be groomed. They said ok. I went to pick my old girl up and had a nice nasty note. They said she was a wonderful sweet dog but I needed to get my vet to groom her. I was at my wits ends about it and when the time came she needed to be groomed again my friend Wendy recommended Dana at Adorable Dos that rang a bell because I have another friend that uses them for her Standard Poodles (Kim) So I made the appointment and took Poopa on up there. The receptionist asked how was she doing and some other questions. Dana was grooming another baby at the time and she got someone to take care of it while she came over to talk to me. She got to know my Poopa while we were talking and my old baby was comfortable with her. I explained to Dana she doesn't mind being groomed she wants to lay down because she can't stand for a long time to be groomed and she doesn't like her feet to be groomed but will let them. Dana assured me she specializes in seniors and puppies. Dana did a wonderful job. She told me that Poopa did want to lay down but that was no problem she was able to work around that and there were no other issues. I was surprised when Poopa wasn't in the kennel crying (she hated kennels). I was really happy. The second time I took her I was getting her out of the car (I'm disabled) and someone came out and got her. Picked her up she smelled and looked great. I was only able to use Dana these two times before I got sick and then she got sick (my friend Bonnie who is a groomer had to come do her at home). My precious sweet baby has passed away in March. I now have a Schnauzer Pru and I have made an appointment to take her to Dana tomorrow (because I remember she specializes in puppies too). I can't wait to see what my little white devil is going to look like. I have been very satisfied with Dana I wish I would have found her sooner. So a new chapter begins. read more

I have a 13 year old Golden Retriever! When we used Adorable Do's the 1st and 2nd time they actually did a fantastic job and I would have recommended them at that time. His 3rd time proved to be an AWFUL experience! First, (my fault), I was 15-20 minutes late. I had called and they assured me that this was fine, I was willing to reschedule. But with their assurance I decided to take him. They acted as if they didn't know me or him. They couldn't even find his card after already being there twice before; somebody obviously doesn't know how to file. One of the Groomers was VERY NICE. The others were giving me dirty looks and in fact I felt one of the groomers was staring me down which creeped me out. (Not a nice stare either).... I SPECIFICALLY SAID AGAIN AND AGAIN that I don't like him short and I like him with longer hair. I can't EMPHASIZE how many times those words came out of my mouth. Anyone working with Golden Retrievers should know that they need their fur coat for cooling them down and NO GOLDEN SHOULD EVER BE SHAVED. Well, I went to pick him up and guess what? YEP... He is SHAVED. They even shaved him so close under his chest that it is down to the bare raw skin. I saved pictures because I was so UPSET. I did leave a tip but NEVER WILL I USE THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS AGAIN. I had thought I found my "go to" place. That has changed. I just can't figure out why they didn't pay attention to my numerous words "I LIKE HIM WITH A LONGER COAT, I DO NOT WANT HIM SHORT" -- Obviously the Nice girl that I was speaking to did not relay this message to the staff that butchered my fur baby. I have two small terrier dogs that need to be groomed frequently. New to the Mobile area, I was looking for a friendly, clean,. and safe groomer to take my little baby-angels a.k.a my dogs. The girls were really nice, they did a full grooming in less than 4 hours, and they put a doggy-cologne that makes your dogs smell good for literally a week. For a full grooming : hair cut, teeth cleaning, toe nail clipping, and anal cleanse I only paid $36 per dog which is crazy cheap. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. If you love your dog, do not leave it in the care of this place. We had been taking our dogs here for years before we realized how bad they were. On vacation we took our dog to get groomed at another place and they alerted us that the past groomers had not been cutting his nails for so long they had grown back into his paws even though we had been paying for this service from them.
