Wow so easy to bathe your dog at this DIY dog wash facility. This was our first time to try and it definitely won't be our last. We were greeted by the staff and they were very helpful in giving us directions on how this process works. Everything for the bath is furnished including towels, shampoo, "no tears" face shampoo, brushes, blow dryer and nice bathing sink. Bathing areas are separated so you and your dog are in your individual area. Aprons are provided so you don't get wet. What a nice concept!! read more

I adopted a dog who is pretty shy of people and other dogs and new surroundings, so I was hesitant of taking her to get bathed somewhere. The self wash aspect is really nice because my dog (and myself!) felt much more comfortable with me giving her a bath. Everyone was really nice, and the space was clean and spacious. There are individual booths for each tub, and a door to get into each so your dog can't run out. All of the supplies are there and it's very easy. I live in mobile so it's about 25 minutes away, but it's worth the drive! Very reasonably priced as well. read more

We are here visiting the in-laws from South Florida. We always travel with our 2 little kids Bella and Boots. We are here for a month and at the same time our little guys needed grooming. We were told by a family friend that Dirty Hairy Dog wash is the best in Daphne. We walked into their shop and just felt the love and positive atmosphere. The ladies are so friendly and outgoing, we felt the love when they saw our kids. We left them there and in about 2 hours we got a call the kids are done. We arrived to two cleaned and beautifully groomed babies! We were excited and beyond pleased with this shoppe! We defiantly be back next month. Outstanding place! Great job ladies!! read more

I recently moved here from Atlanta, where I had always bathed my dogs at my job (a vet clinic). Well, I'm not working yet, and my dogs were starting to smell. I prefer to bathe them myself, so I went to Yelp to find a self-service dog wash. I was a little bummed that there wasn't one in Mobile proper, so we did have to drive across the bay to get here. It was 100% worth it. The private bays they have are perfect for wrangling your dog (or in my case, two) without worrying about them running off. There are ramps leading into the tub, and instructions on the wall for best results. Each bay is stocked with a bottle of shampoo, "cookie dough facial," brushes, ear wipes, towels, and a force dryer. It's awesome. The owner Kelly came over and showed me around a bit, and even brought me extra shampoo for my longer-haired dog. The cookie dough facial is actually tearless shampoo that you can really lather their faces well with. I loved that idea, as I'm normally paranoid about putting soap near the eyes. There are some toys and treats for sale in the front, and pet birds singing away in their cages. So cute. We will definitely be back. This is a great business! read more

Doesn't get any better than this creative idea ! You can do it yourself with professional equipment for a reasonable price. Can also schedule appt for dog to be bathed and clip for you - slightly more - but YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I don't have to make my pooch go - she tears through the door and runs straight for Ms. Kelly. While driving from Houston to Daphne to visit some friends, my best friend visited a mud puddle at one of the rest stops. There was no way I could take him to my friend's pristine home in that condition. I hopped on the web to find some place where I could get him washed. All of the groomers I contacted were either busy or not open late enough for me to get there. I found Dirty Hairy and believe me I was so happy. The location was easy to find. The owner was super sympathetic and helpful! She even gave me a towel to take outside so I could wipe off the mud my dog got on the passenger seat. 30 minutes after getting there we were back on our way all nice and clean! We really enjoyed our experience here! I will put it on my list of must go to places when I travel through this area with dogs in my car! read more

Best thing to happen to dog washing since...I don't know what. But, this place is awesome! For 15 bucks you get to wash your dog in a professional tub with shampoo and a professional vacuum and the best part is you don't have to clean up your bathroom afterwards! The owner is very friendly and she helps you if you need it. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you have a dog you should go here. The owner is very friendly. I have had her groom my dog before and she does a great job, but since funds are tight, I now just opt for the self-wash option. I like that I can just pop-in whenever, usually there is no wait for a bath stahl. It is much easier than washing your pup outdoors on in the bathtub at home. Shampoo & towels are provided, but I bring my own shampoo. I do use their towels, doggy face wash & ear wipes though. I also have her trim my dogs nails, since they are black and I can't tell what I am doing to not cut them too short myself. read more
