Drag you in as you are walking past store, give you a wet nap size sample, then drag you inside, put some overpriced serum on face, all you want is to LEAVE. Serum on special today, $149.00, two year. supply, only will need to do it for 6 months. I told her I didn't have that kind of money on me, She says, ""WELL, HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE?". I made an appointment for the $79.95 (plus tax) facial. Big mistake. It was nothing but a high-pressure sales pitch from the moment I entered the "treatment" room. I had to tell the facialist(?) to save the sales pitch until after she finished my treatment. I would compare it to a time share pitch, if you've ever had the misfortune to experience one. Pushy, obnoxious, price constantly changing as I repeatedly refused to purchase their overpriced products. They started at $1,500 and finally dropped the product price to $399. I could do better at my dermatologist's. I walked away with an $80 sales pitch disguised as a facial. One of the great things about being over 60 is that I don't care what people think of me, particularly these vultures. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I got influenced into booking an appt for a $79.00 LED facial, I should have known when they called me 5 times to confirm that something was not right. It was not even a facial, all Leo did was apply product after product wiping it off with a cold cloth, the product irritated my skin and made my face itch. It was not a facial it was an $80.00 sales pitch. No thank you I stopped him in his tracks I was not going to listen I was mislead, I paid the $80.00 but I let them know that this is not what I signed up for and that their adds are very misleading. Please everyone one stay away they specialize in scamming people I've been in a room where they charge me double the price of a product in the same product my friend they didn't charge as much and then as they knew I had money they just kept selling me selling me stuff and pushing stuff on me and this is their MO on how they handle people. Buyer beware. Very aggressive sales people pulling you in and lying about their "great products". FDA approved they said - but it is not FDA approved. They sell cheap stuff - highly overpriced - give you big discounts, but still totally overpriced. They don't tell you that all sales are final, before you paid. I got stopped by the sales person, Hili. She was super nice and super sweet initially. The price of the items changed drastically from the beginning to the end. When I said I'd think about it. She started packing the items in a bag and handing them to me. After I insisted that I don't think I want the items, she became really rude and pushy. I normally would have not bought if the sales person is rude and pushy. However, I felt bad during this Pandemic time that everyone especially the small businesses are suffering. I finally bought 1 item after she was pushing and pushing from 3 items, to 2 items, to 1 item. However, I would not buy again or recommend to anyone. I went to Adore with a friend who told me about their Lionesse eye treatment. The saleswoman, Navy, who was nice enough, expertly and abundantly applied the treatment and my eye area appeared younger within minutes. She then told me the price $399. When I replied it was a lot, she gave me a 25% discount. After, I was booked for a facial with the visiting specialist, Alex, from California. The shopgirls made a big deal of this and said it a lucky opportunity. The day of my facial, Alex, who for about one second seemed charming, proved to be an unpleasant, arrogant little prick who has obviously had to give far too many facials for his liking. He went through the motions in a cold, sparing and mechanical way. He left me alone a couple of times to watch infomercials while the products dried on my face. The last one was especially displeasing, as it was gelid and felt like a dead octopus on my skin. Near the end, Alex tried to manipulate and coerce me into purchasing nearly $4000 worth of products, which after he was willing to sell for 25% less. When I didn't buy anything, he sneered and coolly escorted me out. For such a supposedly upscale place, I was surprised by the austerity and even mild uncleanliness of the spa treatment room. It did not at all reflect the hefty prices of the products. As for the Lionesse eye treatment cream, which I bought and have been using for a couple of weeks, it's definitely not as miraculous as they claim. I was told to apply it once a week when I got it and use it with a daily moisturizing cream. When I saw Alex and said I didn't think it was working so well, he told me to apply it every three days. Still, it doesn't seem to maintain the effect for more than 24 hours. So instead of lasting me two years, as they initially said it would, it will probably last me less than half of that. I will definitely not be repurchasing it, nor will I ever go to that store again after my very negative experience with Alex. read more

Walked by this place on my way to the restroom and the salesperson handed me a free sample and then would not let me leave and told I only needed 30 seconds of my time. Yeah, right. I let her go on about the skincare line even though I wasn't interested because I know she was just doing her job, but she was very, very pushy. She took my arm and showed me a sample of a physical exfoliatior that balls up and gets rid of dead skin cells when you rub it upon your skin. She told me it was brand new technology that they only have and no other brand has this in their product line. Nope. Many higher skincare lines have an exfoliator just like that and I actually have a few of them. I told her that and what I knew about peel gels like the one she was showing me and she rudely said that I wrong. I told her I wasn't interested and walked out. Once I got to the bathroom and washed my hands I realized that there was shimmery mica all over my arm where she tested the product. Why the hell would I buy something that would make my face look like a disco ball after cleansing??! Avoid this place at all costs. read more

First of all, I was not looking in the store to purchase anything. I just wanted directions to another store. Secondly, I am pushing 80 years old and don't believe in miracle creams. The friendly young woman at the door started a conversation with me. She put some cream from a jar on a q-tip and told me to try it under my eye. Then she produced a hand-held fan and dried the cream and told me how much the cream had erased the lines under my eyes. Of course, I had to buy it. It was $170.00, then she steered me to a man who was going to give me a "free facial". Forty-five minutes later I walked out of there with an additional bag of creams and potions for $9,052.50! Minutes later, when I realized what I had just done, I tried to return it all. I was told "all sales are final.". Yes, it was my own fault for being so stupid. I have never done anything like that in my life. I am so embarrassed by it and mad at myself. That money would have been used for things that I really needed and now I don't have it. Buyer beware! Hard core sales. They sell you high priced items and if you don't like them after the sale, you cannot return. They don't tell you that all sales are final. "All sales final" is written on the electronic pad they hand you to sign and they keep you busy while signing so you don't get a chance to read it. Very shady. There are better products on the market. These are very high priced items and if you don't purchase, they will keep making you better offers in an effort to sell you on their over priced products. read more

Just was walking buy and they handed me a sample in a bag I took it and then said thank you about to walk away when they got me inside where they sat me down and tried an eye cream on me along with telling about my dark circles and lines. They tried the product on me which it did make a visible difference. Then I asked the price and the gentleman said it was 80% off today only and explained the pricing. Then walked away to grab the product and pack it up when I never said I would buy it. When I said not today but can I have a card he said "the sale is only today and I only have two left take it or leave it!" So I said I will leave it! And walked away! I've been in cosmetics and cosmetics sales for years and this is one way to never treat a customer if you want a sale or any future sales! I will not be returning I was shocked how rude and pushy the end of the interaction was! read more
