I feel the need to write a review on my experience with The Adrian Law Firm. I believe that so many people only post about negative interactions but truly believe my experience here should be credited. First off all I work in the entertainment industry. As a direct result of this I often travel to California for work. On one of these trips to California I rode my motorcycle there to get content for my YouTube channel. During my brief stay in Southern California I tried to see as many "touristy" areas as possible. On my third night in town I was on my way to my friend's place in Beverly Hills that I was staying at. At this point I can only assume the mindset of the officer who pulled me over for no reason other than seeing a black man in Beverly Hills around midnight. Once he turned on the lights I immediately pulled over and turned off my motorcycle, removed my helmet and gloves, and kept my hands completely visible. As he approached me I inquired what was the reason for stopping me. His immediate response was " I got you running a few stop signs" my immediate response was "I'm sorry sir but you are incorrect and I can prove it" he asked how and at that moment I pointed to my gopro which had been running the entire time. He then said "well I'm not going to write you up for those" I admit I was a bit of a wise guy at this point and said "you can't!" He then said "however you do have an obnoxiously loud exhaust" I informed him at that time neither am I a California resident nor is/was that vehicle registered or purchased in California. He then began to tell me some story about when he moved to California from Texas he had to change the tires on his pickup truck because they weren't legal in California. I pointed out to him that in his story he stated he moved to California to become a resident and was not simply traveling in California for a short period of time while visiting so his story had nothing to do with me. He then said "well your exhaust is too loud" I stated that no illegal modifications have been made to my motorcycle and it if fully compliant with the law for the state in which it is registered. He repeated well that exhaust is illegal in California. I asked at that point if he had a decibel reader to measure the sound and he said he did not. I said at this point it feels like you're just trying to find a reason to pull me over since you realized I have a camera running and can't say it was for stop signs. He then said "I'm just going to write you a ticket and you can deal with this in court". I took my ticket and continued on to my destination. Enter Adrian Law Firm The next morning I contacted Scott Adrian of Adrian Law Firm and explained the entire situation to him and asked for my options. He was very understanding to my situation as he also rides motorcycles. After he presented me with my options in a very realistic manner. Just pay it and move on. Fight it and lose and pay it plus court cost. Fight it and win etc. I asked for a few days to think about it before making my decision. At no point did he try to pressure me to have him represent me. He simply gave me all possible options. After several days I decided that I couldn't let this go purely based on principle and decided to proceed with fighting the ticket. I wanted to make sure I had this situated before returning to my home state. I gave Mr. Adrian the ticket as well as all other related information he needed. Mr.Adrian and his assistant remained in constant communication with me throughout the process. I received 2 communications from the court via US mail at my residence. I immediately forwarded these to Mr. Adrian who throughly explained all the documentation to me and assured me that he was handling things but to make sure to forward any communication I received to him as soon as possible. The resolution I received a letter as well phone confirmation from Mr.Adrian that my case has been dismissed. I am throughly impressed and satisfied with my experience with Scott and the Adrian Law Firm as a whole. Although I hope to not have a future need for his services I highly recommend him based on his rates, professionalism, communication, and general investment into the relationship he has with his clients. read more
