The nurse practioner barely looked at his finger while the stitches were in and not at all after they were taken out despite the girl who took them out asking. It is most likely infected and she just said put a band aid on it when you go out. She did order an antibiotic. We were not at all pleased with how we were treated by the NP.

Instead of a conversation or a real evaluation, they acted like it was fine to just order labs and hand out more pills--without even letting me speak to a doctor directly. What are you--just a pill pusher now? I'm not here to be rushed out the door or treated like a number. I need a healthcare provider who listens, not one who pushes prescriptions like a factory line. I would absolutely not recommend this office. I'm finding a new doctor who actually cares about their patients.

I accidentally put a steak knife through my thumb and knew I needed urgent, but not emergent, care. I held firm pressure on the cut and drove myself the 19 miles to IEP. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. Lucky for me, there was no one waiting. That NEVER happens, especially to me! But Heather checked me in and made me feel so much better about my situation. There was a sign stating that there was only one practitioner working that day, but truly, I was seen in no time, by Ainsleigh, PA extraordinaire!!! She made me feel at ease, as I had never had stitches before. Before long, I was out the door with four stitches and an updated tetanus shot, happy as a clam that I had chosen to come to IEP. If you need an Urgent Care Center, and you are are an understanding person who respects what these lovely people are trying to do for you, even if you have to wait, please give this place a try.

I was a few days away from a business trip to California, and I needed to see a doctor. I was…read moresuffering from a skin condition in my scalp that was bothersome and painful. I did not have time to see a dermatologist as the earlier appointment was well after my time in California. I needed immediate relief. I was in Fort Wayne and decided to go to Physicians Urgent Care as it was listed on my insurance plan. I came in and asked to see a doctor. After filling out some paperwork, i waited my turn. I noticed most of the people in the urgent care that day were people to do mandatory testing for work. After about 20 minutes, I was taken inside and spoke with a nurse and told her my issue. She saw the problem and said a doc would come in a bit. Another 15 minutes later, spoke with the doctor and explained the situation. He prescribed me some doxycycline and prednisone. After a few days of taking the meds, I was in good shape. If you need to see a doc quickly but its not something for the ER, go to Physicians Urgent Care!

I continued to suffer for a few more days (because they told me not to come back for 5 DAYS) before finally deciding to go to a different walk-in. Turns out, I VERY OBVIOUSLY had strep throat. Then, to top it all off, they decided to charge me over $100 for my visit (yes, even with insurance). I am never going back. Absolutely ridiculous.

My daughters little friend had it and her only symptom was the cough and that's why I insisted they give her the test, they had shared drinks and everything so I was pretty sure she had it before we went. Great place tho! very friendly and seemed knowledgeable but a little quick to write it off as something else so I'm struggling between 3 and 5 stars
