Sat for an hour and a half and wasn't seen. No one seemed to care and it wasn't that busy.

I was a few days away from a business trip to California, and I needed to see a doctor. I was suffering from a skin condition in my scalp that was bothersome and painful. I did not have time to see a dermatologist as the earlier appointment was well after my time in California. I needed immediate relief. I was in Fort Wayne and decided to go to Physicians Urgent Care as it was listed on my insurance plan. I came in and asked to see a doctor. After filling out some paperwork, i waited my turn. I noticed most of the people in the urgent care that day were people to do mandatory testing for work. After about 20 minutes, I was taken inside and spoke with a nurse and told her my issue. She saw the problem and said a doc would come in a bit. Another 15 minutes later, spoke with the doctor and explained the situation. He prescribed me some doxycycline and prednisone. After a few days of taking the meds, I was in good shape. If you need to see a doc quickly but its not something for the ER, go to Physicians Urgent Care! read more

They misdiagnosed me and and charged me at the door when my insurance would have covered it.

This place is a joke. Waited for an hour just to find out they don't accept cash. Receptionist was an idiot!

With all due respect, I came to the Urgent Care to be seen by a physician, not a PA. It's ridiculous that after the initial nurse took my Vitals , it was a PA who was diagnosing and treating me. I had serious breathing issues and she didn't even tell me to take off my sweatshirt to listen to my lungs. I have nothing against PA's, but please don't let the PA be the only provider the patient sees. I would have liked to speak to and be examined by the physician as well. read more

They were super rude they were running me for my money by telling me my insurance doesn't cover urgent cares when it does cause I've been to plenty of urgent cares and running test after test meanwhile i came in for one thing and they didn't care what i was there for would not listen to my symptoms. I have tonsillitis and the doctor pressed down so hard on them like they weren't the size of golf balls and not even there the only thing he had to say was "yep it's very red" nothing about them being swollen but even my boyfriend saw them and they were so big it almost closed my throat they also just told me to take care of it with at home remedies no antibiotics. I had my DOT (Department of Transportation) physical here and it turned into a huge, uncalled for fiasco. Bad communication between my health care provider and these people. My Veterans doc and nurse were sent thru unnecessary loops and tests to comply with this doctor. Paperwork was "lost" and misfiled. Their attitude was that it was not their problem and very arrogant. I am a disabled Veteran w healthcare thru the VA. I'm a trucker and was put out of work for 2 months and 17 days. The non-communication with these people and me trying to get back to work was unbelievable! I feel this is the most unprofessional place I have ever in my life have worked with. Excellent care! Dr. Moore and his staff were just what the doctor ordered! On Easter morning I found this facility through a safari search. I was able to schedule an appointment within half an hour even though their phone service was down. Dr. Moore and his staff gave me a thorough exam and by following their orders, I felt better within a couple of days. A life saver for me! read more

Excellent patient care. This is not your typical walk in clinic like Redimed. Dr. Moore and his Physicians Assistant, Connie, are very well versed and professional. I believe Dr. Moore ran Bluffton Regional for many years. I've taken my kids there for various things as well as my husband and myself when waiting to get into our family physician would have taken days to weeks. Couldn't be happier with the level of care they have provided each time. The entire staff is kind and courteous. The facility is brand new and well appointed. This is closer to a two than a three, but I do like the staff especially one of the nurses. Just hoping it was an off day for the physician on duty this particular visit. Have a few good visits here 3 with our daughter and one for myself. But unfortunately we just had one that is making me think twice about going back, or calling ahead to see who the physician on duty is. Took our son there after a motorcycle accident. It was around 730 on a Sept 19th. Was concerned about the road rash he occurred in the accident along with pain he was having in his wrist and one of his fingers. The PA Connie on duty, which we have seen before (actually a little over a week before for myself) didn't seem to take our concerns about his wrist to heart. She checked it and since he wasn't in agony when she did her observation she basically dismissed it. She was concerned about finger so ordered an x-ray (don't know why she just didn't do the wrist also just to be safe, but she didn't). Also we had to practically beg her to look over the road rash, not sure if it was because she didn't want to have to unwrap the four spots that the EMT's wrapped up when he was checked out at the accident site, but she finally checked one of the areas. Glad we convinced her because the poor kid had 2nd degree burns and needed some special cream. Wish she would have looked at one of the other ones because when I seen it later it was worse than the one she did look at. X-ray did show the finger was broke so she recommended that he see an orthopedic doctor. Got him into one down in Indy the following Wednesday. Mentioned to the person on the phone about the wrist because Sunday night when I took him back to Indy his wrist was swollen. They had him go get an x-ray done of it to be safe, something she should have done. Well when he went in for his appointment on Wednesday lode and behold IT WAS BROKE and not a good break, one that may need surgery or a bone stabilizer. The thing that really bothers me is that I am now stuck with a $200+ bill for the x-ray that was taken at a different faculty when it should have been done along with the finger and would have been included with the office visit and he went from Friday to Wednesday without it being properly immobilized which could have done more damage to it since he was still using it because he was told it was fine. Like I said this was only one bad experiment out of four but in my book a big miss and will have to think long and hard before going back. read more

This place is awesome. Went there today and they got me in very fast, only about a 10 minute wait. I had to stay for hours while I had fluid given to me in an IV and they checked on me very often, brought me water, brought me blankets, and really showed they cared. Dr. Moore was great, as well as the multiple nurses who helped me. I am definitely going here from now on! read more

I brought my son in on the weekend after a sports related injury, we were quickly seen and evaluated with X-Rays. We were referred to the ER for additional tests, and Urgent Care called ahead to make that experience even better. I've already recommended them to co-workers and friends. Absolute WORST experience of my entire life at a medical facility. As a background, I am 25 years old and have had some unique medical issues with my heart and circulatory system. I have been to many specialists, cardiologists, neurologists, you name it. Needless to say, I have met plenty of medical professionals and obviously preferred some over others, but this time was absolutely ridiculous. I have neurocardiogenic syncope among other issues (a vasovagal nerve issue that affects my blood pressure/circulatory etc.), and I have also been on Sprintec birth control for about 8 years now. As most people know, birth control has an uncommon but possible side effect of blood clots. So naturally when I presented with shortness of breath/randomly feeling like I can't catch my breath even sitting at rest or in bed trying to sleep, as well as very bothersome lower leg deep pain, I got worried that I could be dealing with clots since they tend to happen in the same area I was feeling. Also, knowing I have circulatory problems already and I have been on this medication for a long time, I decided I should be cautious when it came to a potential life threatening thing such as this. Since my symptoms weren't horrendous or unbearable, I figured I should try the Urgent Care walk in clinic. I couldn't get an appointment immediately with my own doctors and didn't think I was in such dire shape that I needed an ER visit, so I stopped in. I have been to Redimed numerous times as well for allergic reactions and had a good experience, so I figured this place would be similar. Now first of all, this review has nothing to do with the other staff/nurses, they were just fine. My issue is 100% with the so called Doctor, Mr. Timothy Moore. He doesn't deserve the title "Dr." .From the second he entered the room, he was arrogant. He COMPLETELY dismissed all of my health complaints and literally laughed in my face when I described symptoms. Obviously I have better things to do than to make up reasons to go to the doctor and waste money on this disgrace of a medical "professional" (the word professional is used VERY loosely here, he couldn't have been further from it.) Basically, because I'm young and appear to be in good shape, he couldn't care less about what I had wrong. Also he rushed the entire appointment, I assume because it was almost time to go home for the day. Some excellent examples of how rude and ignorant this man is, when I mentioned that at rest I randomly can't catch my breath and it concerned me, he mocked me saying "that's called a sigh" and informed me that I was just hyperventilating. Really? I mean everyone hyperventilates AT REST NOT DOING ANYTHING! I told him I don't sit there with stress or anything whatsoever to cause hyperventilating and my concern was blood clots in the lungs, once again he totally dismissed it and made me feel horribly insulted. I wear compression socks to help with my neurocardiogenic syncope symptoms, and he basically told me I couldn't have clots if I had those on because they prevent them. I'm not an idiot, Compression socks are meant to prevent blood pooling but they aren't magical inventions that 100% proof your body from having clots. He proceeded to inform me that my existing condition was a vasovagal nerve response issue rather than circulatory, as if I don't already know what my condition was from meeting with my previous doctors who actual had compassion and had medical knowledge. This "doctor" was an absolute joke, he even called himself out saying "I know I'm a smarty-pants" when I assume he saw my face of disapproval. I have met some good doctors that work at these walk in clinics, but he was an absolute disgrace to the medical field. He diagnosed me with "muscle spasms" and printed of a paper suggesting I apply heat compresses. Muscle spasms? Are you kidding me? The last thing you should do if you are concerned about a blood clot, is apply heat. Keep in mind, I work out about 5x a week, so I know what pulling a muscle feels like or sore muscles. This time felt like something entirely different. But according to his ignorant and rushed diagnosis, it wouldn't matter anyway. I have never been so frustrated and insulted in my entire life. I was fighting tears as the nurse read my diagnosis because I was so angry that he wasted my time and money just to treat me like I was an idiot. I got to my car and bawled, because I had such a horrible experience and it is infuriating that such a complete jerk with not a single ounce of compassion in his body can have a medical degree. Also, I still have no idea what is wrong with me health wise, I know for a fact it isn't muscle spasms. So beware of this place, I am going to make sure I never have the misfortune of going there ever again and I will tell as many people as humanly possible about my experience, just so they don't suffer the frustration and humiliation that this man makes you feel. Have military Tricare insurance and used this no problem here. Doc visit was fast and efficient, got my Rx and was on the road in less then 30 minutes. Will definitely return if another need comes up! Side note - They have a kids visit room, so my son was able to watch the lego movie while he got his shots, and that def helped. read more
