We visited the morning of our departure flight and I wish I had known this place prior. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating, some outdoor in the front so it's a covered porch like area. We got a few sandwiches, a turkey and a breakfast bacon egg and cheese on sourdough. Both were fresh, complimented our smoothie and iced black tea nicely. The gentlemen who took our order didn't rush us, didn't treat us badly because we wanted to look over the menu and consider our options, he was prompt and kind. I really liked my breakfast here and can understand why others, probably a local in the mix, would bring their laptops and sit in the cafe. I walked to Adriana's from Eastie last week on a whim, wanting to check out a new spot and it was so worth it. It was a nice walk mostly along the greenway for me, and I was ready for a drink and snack when I got in There was air conditioning indoors, and lots of tables, plus some seats out by the water and out front. I ordered an iced oat milk latte and an avocado toast with fried egg and both were wonderful. The inside space was really nice, if a little unfinished, but I spent a nice hour hanging out there. This place was adorable! My husband and I are flight attendants and we've never been in here! Today I brought my infant son and thought it was really great to be able to see the planes taking off and landing and point and tell him that's where his dad was! The view is great. They had 2 high chairs available and ample seating, including two comfortable chairs near a fire place. I got chicken salad on a ciabatta and it was very fresh and delicious. I got an avocado toast for my son and tried a bite and it was great. All of the patrons inside were so friendly and warm to my son and I and everyone hopped up to open doors for us. This is an OK spot in Winthrop but plenty of other options for breakfast. Good location on the water, but the price is extremely high. I got a bacon egg and cheese that cost me $11 and they wanted a tip, which I provided before I finished paying....then I watched 4 other people come in and get their food before me. I brushed it off and when I asked where my order was they said they gave it to somebody else.... Just a bad experience when you are trying to get something quick before work - wouldn't come here again on a week day since it took me 25 minutes to get a bacon egg and cheese when there is a Dunkin' Donuts across the street. Cool atmosphere in there, I guess that's why the price is so high for their breakfasts. (Avocado toast is also about $8) cheers! We love Adriana's. There are many local breakfast and coffee shops but Adriana's is one of our favorites. They have the best croissant BEC (bacon egg and cheese) in the area that is SO good. We also love the coffee. It is strong, but I do wish the flavors were sweeter. I would recommend adding sugar to your coffee ans the flavors aren't sweetened (as far as i can tell) Smoothies are also very good. The sizes are generous! The cashier was nice and helpful. The view through the large glass window into the harbour is beautiful! A cozy feel with a variety of choices that we LOVE. great spot read more

Everything is just ok except for the location. Food is just ok, coffee is just ok, prices are high and going up. I've been here a lot and it seems like things are going in the wrong direction. I may be out of touch, but $6.95 for 1 slice of Avocado toast seems a bit much. It tasted like a premade avocado spread. I've never had avocado toast here before and I won't again. The value is just not there. The location is nice with a view of the water. However, don't go there early, not open. No displayed store hours so I don't know when they open. John does not seem to be too fond of attending to clients that are not Caucasian- Which is extremely sad as Winthrop is finally beginning to be diverse. Not only do his actions and service come off as discriminatory, but also extremely unprofessional. Would not recommend this place to anyone ever- Have also had lots of fellow neighbors complain about his service. Plenty of other great coffee shops around the area that will serve you with the most upmost respect, better service, and for sure better coffee! I love Adriana's! I live over in Orient Heights and have driven or even walked over a few times. Their paninis are terrific. I love the veggie and tuna. Also great pastries. I don't drink caffeine so I haven't tried the coffee but the strawberry banana smoothie is yummy! read more

What a gem. Stumbled on this place after going to Belle Isle Seafood for so long, had to give it a try. Went in on Thursday and Saturday and was impressed. The cafe atmosphere is a inviting neighborhood style with just a few tables on the right when you enter and service space on the left. It's right on the Marina and there are wonderful views of the city. Cannot wait til Covid dips so I can sit in and enjoy the view. As for food and drink the coffee and Green Tea is great not excellent but definitely higher quality. The food was so good, you can tell they do stuff mostly in house (if they don't they got me fooled!). I ordered the croissant, cinnamon roll and a slice of the bakery pizza. All were excellent. Croissant was nice and fluffy, cinnamon roll was soft with icing well mixed into th middle and the bakery slice in my opinion beats out local places like Milanos. Although I will say the bakery pizza is more modern with lots of cheese compared to the traditional sauce based with light parmesan. In all Im so glad to have found this place and look forward to being a consistent customer! read more

There are clear facts that make this place great: fireplace, harbor view, clean and well-decorated. But I must say that I was won over on the day that the gentleman behind the counter offered to make me a coffee like the one that he makes his wife. He could see I wanted a treat but that I was being indecisive. Unlike other places in this world, I was met with kindness and care! That goes a long way with me. Looking for breakfast with a view? A great place to do work? A yummy but speedy breakfast spot? Adriana's is your place! We stumbled in here last weekend and were greeted with festive Christmas decorations and a friendly staff. Adriana's has a huge display case full of delicious looking pastries, but being in more of a savory mood, we ordered a piece of breakfast pizza and a breakfast sandwich. Both were great and super filling. I loved that the breakfast sandwich used real high quality bacon- it was a pleasant departure from the paper thin bacon usually served on breakfast sandwiches. We also got a couple of coffees which were served with the cutest little cookie on top. My caramel macchiato was fine, but it wasn't the gourmet coffee experience I had hoped for. I think I'll stick with regular coffee in the future and I'm excited to try more of their breakfast items! read more

I went there tonight and surprise: they were actually open! I got the ricotta pie. I asked the girl at the counter if the ricotta pie was fresh, made today and she replied yes. The ricotta pie was one of the worst ricotta pie I've ever had in my life! Such a disappointment! It was most certainly not fresh. Got the iced cappuccino and, it too, was awful! It had no flavor! I was super disappointed from both the ricotta pie and iced cappuccino and probably won't be back. Also, no cannolis and almost all the pastry they had there didn't look fresh. If it's not fresh, don't sell it! I almost asked for my money back but didn't want to make a scene. So gross though, yuck! read more
