This review is based strictly on the Thomson Art plaza located in the Pavillion of the Adrienne Arsht center. I loved growing up in the 80's where breaking,tagging,and beat boxing was all the hype. Now a days you don't really see or hear about it anymore. I mean, sure we still have graffiti and beautiful murals throughout Miami but I still miss those b boy battling days. Believe it or not I was great at a windmill and nobody could touch my kick worm. .that was a long time ago though. So I was super excited when I got an email letting me know the Arsht center was supporting a free b boy battle!! It was so on! You had to walk through the main entrance,go through metal detectors and then proceed to the outside. There were beverages of all kinds and food and light bites for sale. You also had the Cafe at Books and Books open just in case you wanted more of a menu based meal. Everyone was out here, didn't matter what age group you were in. I saw babies to grandpa status all were out to enjoy and have a great time. They had 3 well known breakers with over 20 years experience as the judges. There were different DJ's and before the main event little kids were doing their thing on the dance floor. It was so cute to see even two year old just out there showing their skills. When the main event started that's when the old school beats started rocking and everyone was vibing and moving to the beats as different crews did their thing. What I saw was crazy!!! So many people flying on the floor by their heads I mean even little kids were doing it. It was amazing. When all the crews had a chance to battle it out they chose the top 8 to then go up against eachother. It was a hard decision, glad I wasn't judging. There was one crew that stood out though. This dude named monster was a true beast. He could change up to anyone's style and just never lost a round. It was obvious his crew had to be the winner but all the crews out there were truly top knotch!! I hope the center supports more functions like this because this is truly a great event for all to come to! read more

If you can figure out public transportation, the people mover is very convenient. I have also parked in their lot and luckily parked right where you exit, but worry a bit too much about getting trapped in parking lot hell so have been using the people mover. Security checks move pretty fast. The elevator can be a bit slow. Because I waited too long to sign up and my husband insists on having an aisle seat, our season subscription seats are way up on tier three. But they actually aren't that bad. one's head is blocking our view and the seats aren't spacious, but also not super cramped. There are restrooms conveniently located on our floor. As is usual at all theaters, the lines for restrooms and for food and beverages is way too long. But all in all, the theater is nice, modern, clean, and inviting. read more

After going there for years we went there last Saturday. We are living in Pompano Beach and it is a long drive to begin with. Once there we find out that 5 parking lots are down to 2 and valet parking vaved us off!!! So we had to drive home, to park farther away and take an Uber didnt make sense and we would have missed a good part of the performance. ARSHT CENTER DID NOT GIVE ANY NOTICE OF THE PARKING SITUATION. they knew that their parking was closed. we called them and their answer was sorry and valet was understaffed! WHICH IS OUR FAULT??? Customer Service promised to call us back but they did not! Edited: They called us finally, refunded the 2 remaining performances and offered us a free ticket for an upcoming performance because the one passed could not be refunded, fair and professional! read more

It doesn't matter where you sit, you can definitely see from every seat. I have seen a couple shows in this venue, drinks are overpriced and snacks are too but I recommend anyone to go watch any show here. They do offer valet parking and you can pay with a credit card. read more

I am surprised I have not reviewed the Adrienne Arsht Center as my family and I have been coming to the Arsht center for years. It is a beautiful center for the performing arts, more so on the inside, which is split into two parts: The Knight Concert were symphonies are done and the Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet and Opera House... where that and plays are done. I have always enjoyed this theatre/performing arts center but there are definitely ways it can improve. My experience recently when I came to watch Sara Baras perform Flamenco exemplified then. 1) food/snacks/drinks... expensive but then again you expect that in a performing arts center. But seriously if I am paying a couple bucks for a soft drink I expect it to be cold... never is here. 2) ushers.... all in one night: given wrong directions on what part of the theatre I had to go to. I asked for help in locating my seats... the two women in my area were busy and flustered and one just left saying there is to many things to do... I had to walk a ways down to find a different usher so he can take me back to the top of the orchestra seating area and help me find my seats for me and my mother. Then the ushers continued to not do their job. I was sat next two and behind some incredibly rude people. The two women next to me kept yapping thru the show and I heard everything including one's terrible date with "Univision guy". The ones in front had a small child who was kicking the seat or jumping on top of it. Uhhh do ur job usher and tell them to stop! So I and my mother moved to some worse empty seats and tried to enjoy the show away from them... still many broke the rules and started taking pictures/video.... some in front of me would sometimes remain standing keeping me from watching... so the heck with it I started breaking the rules too. If your an usher u need to sometimes put your foot down so that everyone can enjoy. Never seen this problem at other theaters. Granted this last problem of the Ushers was especially bad this time... I only have experience the wrong directions in the past. It is a beautiful theatre though with amazing productions. I don't want to make this review sound so negative as I have normally quite enjoyed productions in the part and the flamenco show was inspiring. In the midst of all of this uncertainty with the covid virus one thing I am certain of is preserving the arts. I was fortunate enough to be able to see the Broadway national tour of Hamilton before all of the performances would have to be cancelled due to the coronavirus. I was still somewhat nervous to go given the circumstances but this was a few days before the mayor of Miami Dade County put the social distancing measures in place. I am so happy I was able to go being that 1) I love the Adrienne Arsht Center. I have seen several shows there and remember first going there back in 2009 my senior year of high school when Obama was elected and we watched him on as a student body on a projector screen give his inaugural speech. I will never forget that moment sitting in that theater listening to Obama's speech and to do this day I still recall that moment. I felt so inspired and so lucky to have been able to witness such a historic and momentous occasion in such a beautiful and grand setting. It was so fitting for the moment 2)I have been wanting to see Hamilton on Broadway since its inception. The composer Alex Lacamore was a graduate of NWSA my high school and to get tickets to Hamilton in NYC is tough given that the show was sold out and tickets were ranging in the 1,000's at the time it came out due to its unprecedented popularity. Having been an Adrienne Arsht Center patron, I got first dibs when they announced pre-sale on tickets which I thank the theater for. I received an email that put me in this special pre-sale queue so I'd get to purchase tickets at lesser of a cost. I was so grateful that they did this. I recall actually being overseas on a trip for work (in the middle of the Caribbean mind you with little to no cell reception) making sure that when the time came for pre-sale to start I was able to buy tickets that very day-which I did. The show itself was amazing. The seats were perfect. The theater was clean-very crowded and the theater staff wore gloves (which was appropriate given the situations and I wouldn't blame them). I did think that the playbills could have been distributed better. I would have thought the ushers would have handed them out to us rather than have them placed in a cubby hole all disarrayed but then again maybe that was a preventative measure due to covid. Wasn't that big of a deal, but I am one for organization and cleanliness(that's the Virgo in me ^_^). The ushers though were very sweet and kind ladies who showed my family and I to our seats. The only thing I was rather "alarmed" about,no pun intended, was that towards the end of the show the fire alarm in the building went off. Right when Hamilton and Aaron Burr were about to duel and fire their pistols (I thought it was part of the show because it was so perfectly timed), the lights in the theater went up and the actors froze on stage (again it seemed part of the show). We knew it was a real alarm and not part of the show when the actors gracefully exited stage right. I was at first confused, then saddened, then somewhat upset, then that upset turned to fear as the ushers told us to remain calm and stay in our seats. I really wanted to see the end of the show and I wish the ushers would have told us that it was a false alarm right then and there but I understand they had to investigate the situation further. I did receive an email a few days after from leadership as I'm sure all of the other patrons that went that day did too, that it was indeed a false alarm and that they would make it up to us in the coming days. I feel lucky enough that we pretty much got to see the entire show except for the very last number where Eliza narrates the rest of Hamilton's life and what she did to carry his legacy (Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story). I know In the Heights was made into a film...perhaps Lin Manuel will do the same for Hamilton?? Anyhow in regards to the theater, I can't really complain too much because this happened at the end and I am glad that it was followed up with by leadership. I wouldn't have minded waiting in our seats a few extra minutes and then had the actors come back onstage and start from where they left off, but safety does come first. Rest assured, I will be back again at the Adrienne Arsht. How could I not being the the theater lover that I am?Plus their line up for next year is great (Dear Evan Hansen, Anastasia) I definitely urge you to go to this theater if you haven't done so already. They have the Ziff Ballet Opera House, the Knight Concert Hall, and a smaller Black Box theater. They do theater programs for kids as well as summer camps. I would have definitely signed up for theater camp there as a teen or The Alvin Ailey Dance Camp! I wish they had an Alvin Ailey dance camp for adults! They also have a Books and Books store and a Farmer's Market on site. If I lived closer to that area, I would be there all the time! read more

The venue is beautiful and has great seating. I have been here several times for the ballet and for plays. There are beverages available and also a restaurant called Brava. Parking can be a challenge as well as traffic on the weekends. My advice is go to your event with plenty of time or take Uber and don't worry about driving or traffic. read more

Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet Opera House and Adrienne Arsht Center's the same place. The parking situations in the vicinity was ridiculous. However, An American In Paris was a good show. The storyline baffled me a bit. I chalked it up to being old ideologies. They pulled the storytelling off well and ended the show with a lovely ensemble of musicians, actors and dancers. I been here a couple of time for a few plays, the place is always clean. The seating is set up perfectly so no matter where you are, you have a good view. Last play I came to see was dirty dancing. The ushers are always very helpful if you seem like you have no idea where you are going (which happens to me a lot). They have a bar just outside the play, which you can bring inside but not take outside of the property (tired that and I was told I can't do that again). The bathrooms to this place are always clean. I've come to several off-broadway shows and, most recently, I came by for the Miami Book Fair's Joe Biden talk. He was discussing his most recent book. There are plenty of parking options and even easier to take the Metro Mover anywhere between Brickell and downtown. The same Metro Mover will also take you to the new PAMM and Frost Science museums. It's very open and clean with bars in various corners. You can purchase alcoholic beverages, snacks, or sandwiches from Bravo! (the restaurant on premises). The prices are as to be expected for entertainment venues and the restrooms are very clean. I look forward to visiting in a couple of weeks for another show! read more

I had the chance to enjoy the intrepid Ballet company, Ballet Trockadero. When I arrived at the Knight Concert Hall their architecture caught my eyes all the way to the ceiling. The lines at the box office were fine and fast, there was a bar at that you could order a drink and make some time untill they opened the doors so we could sit down. All the ushers were very attentive and the ballet funny and very talended. The theather has a classy, elegant, and perfect frame to house presentations like the Ballet Trockadero. I still love this place...and each time I go I like it more. My recent visit was subsidized by the Yelp Culture Club fund; the program was The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra (http://thenojo.com/). I loved their vibe! The conductor and lead musician, Irving Mayfield, was a mixture of Southern charm and Saucy New Orleans spunk. He kept the audience engaged with stories and a few times scolded us for sitting still. This show was not for the "stiffs" - in fact, our claps even saved a member of the group (Leon "Kid Chocolate Brown") from being kicked off (not to worry - he sang so sweet - the audience's claps were genuine). Mayfield was sure to tell the intrigued single women of the crowd they can send their credit scores with their applications to date Michael. No gold-diggers allowed lol. There was a Salsa edition only for Miami show -- and no one was sitting still -- people were jumping out of their seats and shaking their bums. There were other solo performances - in fact, I think each member was featured a bit - and the New Orleans march around the Arsht finished the party. We purchased tickets for the Lasting Impressions exhibit and were very disappointed. There were several venues in Miami we could have gone but chose to support Adrian Arsht Center. Big mistake. It was a second rate presentation. I've seen video from other performances and the others were FAR superior. I hope the Arsht Center is not going to be disappointing in the future. Some purchased tickets from Secret Miami and didn't know the venue until the last minute and they went to the Olympia Theatre. They raved about it. FYI for the Arsht center, we were going to buy the VIP tickets and no-one could give us an answer as to whether the seating was better. Im happy we didn't upgrade, but it seemed everyone was less than informed. Disappointed. read more

I have been here several times to watch numerous plays and it just reminds me of what an old fashion theatre looks like while still looking modern at the same time. Located in the heart of downtown Miami it is a beautiful building architecture wise. The parking situation is what made me give it 4 stars. That area on a night where there is a play going on traffic is a nightmare and it's mostly because of the parking situation. I would recommend going early to avoid the madness. Parking if you don't valet, can be anywhere between $20-$30. Although on this particular visit it was $30 for the lot that was closest to the venue and $20 for the one next to it. But you do have the option to valet but with the amount of people who do that it may take a while to get your car. We saw The Book of Mormon which we enjoyed very much. The theater is very clean. There really isn't a bad seat in the house, we sat all the way at the top and saw the play perfectly fine! In terms of beverages and food, there are options be keep in mind that you're paying a little extra because of the venue. But what's nice is that once you are seated if you want to order something you can download and app and someone can bring you your order which is convenient. read more

I have been to a couple of shows here all in the same room - apparently there are multiple rooms throughout the building? The seating is perfect, great seats from everywhere. Always super clean and the temperature is always perfect. Been to other venues where it is either too cold or too hot, they do a great job of keeping it comfortable. The staff is ALWAYS super nice and friendly. Never met an usher I didn't like there - always so helpful. The drinks could be priced a bit more reasonable, with a small cup of champagne costing $18 (they split it up into 2 champagne classes but a bartender poured it into one cup for me - its all an illusion. Beers are $7 and I am not sure what liquor goes for. These are nightclub prices but I guess as long as people buy them, they can justify the price. Regardless it is a great establishment that has brought some great culture and entertainment to Miami. read more

I've been to the Arsht center several times over the years (I even have a brick with my name on it somewhere outside of the theatre!), and it is by far, one of the best places I have ever been for a show. Off the top of my head, I've seen Lion King, Million Dollar Quartet, Stomp, Slava's Snow Show, and Summer Shorts...I can't think back far enough to remember the others. I also went to the Iron Fork event this year hosted at the Arsht center, so not only is it a great venue for theatre, but also for special events. Every seat is great, although, I would not suggest getting the box seats close to the stage. You kind of have to hang over to see the stage. The seats are comfortable, the venue doesn't feel crowded, and the staff is always so friendly. Going to the Arsht center is always a treat, and I look forward to seeing a few shows every year just to get a glimpse at their beautiful venue and soak in the experience of a truly great performance space. read more

A beautiful venue for events, concerts and shows of the like. I attended a wonderful dance performance at the Adrienne Arsht Center and was definitely pleased with the venue. There are multiple auditoriums to accommodate the different types of events and different quantity of attendees. Heads up, keep in mind of other events in the Downtown Miami area which may significantly impact the travel time and parking situation. When you purchase your tickets in advance, you are encouraged to pay $15 for a parking ticket. I highly recommend it. On the particular night of my visit, there was a Miami Heat game taking place as well as other performances in and around the Arsht Center which made parking quite the feat. All in all, if you have an opportunity to visit the Arsht Center, I recommend that you do and take advantage of this beautiful venue that offers such remarkable performances. read more

I love going to the Adrienne Arsht Center. This statement goes with a context obviously and for me going to the AAC means BROADWAY SHOWS IN MIAMI! Fanatics like me would pay their fair share of dollars to see an amazing show. Lately, I went to see Wicked twice and Mamma Mia with fellow Yelper A.C. We had a blast! Seriously, both venues (Ziff Ballet and James Knight concert hall) are nicely decorated, with good sonority and a decent view from every seat (even though third and fourth tier are not recommended if you suffer from height issues). I must admit that there are some down points even for good seats. The sound is way too loud on the first rows due to the proximity of the orchestra. On the good points is the impeccable service. I also love the food they sell...brownies...pop corn... yummy! The outside architecture of AAC is quite amazing. Both buildings are very noticeable from the I95 and 395 and at night it looks like two giant spaceships landed in Miami ...Awesome! As mentioned by Ivonne Marie C. it seems that the people in Miami do not dress properly to go see a performance. I was surprised that there's no policy enforced, but I guess it is the price to attract larger crowds to the Arts. read more

Every event I've attended at the Adrienne Arsht Center has been memorable -- from Fuerza Bruta to the Donkey Show to H2Ombre -- and the Yelp Culture Club event to see Les Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo definitely did not disappoint! This venue is a true gem. I was expecting a full-on parody, and while it did keep me laughing through the whole show, I was also very impressed by the beautiful performance, professionalism (despite the spoofs!) and technique of the dancers. In the midst of listening to the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra thanks to Cassie and Yelp's Cultural initiative, face and I spoke about how incredible the Arsht Center is. How much Miami needed and has enjoyed the PAC since it was built ten years ago or so. We wondered where else did we go to for great music or Fun film festivals such as Borscht. Miami is a world class city and the Arsht Center supports that claim 100%. I can attest that there isn't a bad seat in the house. I've sat in the upper deck and enjoyed a high school talent show, I've sat in the box seats and danced along some great live acts and just last night sat in the second row to listen to some funky jazz by world class musicians and each time I felt like I wouldn't trade in my seats for another. Do yourself a favor and partake in some culture and support the arts in Miami. What better way to do that than at Arsht read more

One less bucket list scratch thru! What a beautiful theater!!! Everyone dressed classy and dolled up. For my birthday my hubby got us tickets to go see the Nutcracker. Right when you walk in there are stands with alcohol or small bites to get you started! Ladies bring a small jacket it's cold. We went during the holidays, therefore, everything was beautifully decorated, a huge Christmas tree right at the entrance. A live young lady playing the violin, setting the scene with Christmas carols! Our seats were just PERFECT! Right above eye level, towards the left. Honestly, I think all the seats have a great view. But ours just had the perfect amount of nearness and hight. The bathrooms are sparkly clean, with a large mirror for the ladies to touch up. The staff is friendly and attentive. Couldn't have asked for a better night! Can't wait to return for another great show read more

My review is for the Knight Concert Hall. This is a lovely space to view a show, ballet, concert, etc. The seats are pretty much great from any angle. If you are like me and suffer from a little vertigo from high seats looking down, you may want to get lower seating section. But nonetheless a great view. The outside lobby area is kept nicely and there are concession stands selling wine, coffee, and candies/nuts/chocolates. We had a nice time last Sunday with our Yelp gets Cultural buds to see Ballet Trockadero. Good times! read more

Review for the Carnival Studio Theater at the AAC: Expected more out of this venue based on the outside appearance of the building--interior is impressive only up until the point that you enter the theater. I was extremely underwhelmed by the seating and stage set-up...honestly reminded me of my high school theater...shocking since this is Miami and supposed to be an "upscale" venue. I'm from Washington, D.C. and I guess my experiences at the Kennedy Center and the Strathmore have spoiled me. Hearing the sound wasn't an issue, as I was very close to the stage but I can imagine that it may present problems to those in the back. Bathroom situation was also a disappointment..only two stalls and long lines during intermission of "I Am My Own Wife". There needs to be an expansion of some kind! Staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the feel of the building, but the area where the performance took place was nothing special. Can't complain about parking, as anyone is free to roam around and find cheaper parking down the street ($10). Nothing super exciting, overall, IMO. read more

The Arsht center itself is an amazing venue. The location is in the downtown area where your close to Wynwood, AAA, Bayside, etc. So you can always find something to do before and after. Keep in mind parking for anything in downtown is SUPER overpriced. Depending on the event happening at the Arsht Center it may be cheaper to just take an Uber. I've seen a few shows here: Wicked, The Nutcracker, etc. etc. I've sat in the 200 section and up. Anything higher is really not the best viewing. The location is large and beautiful, but you'll have to anti up some more cash if you want to see any show close and in detail. They have a cafe where you can grab a bite to eat before and after shows. The concession stands around during a show don't have many options. And it's better to save and head out somewhere nearby to eat after the show anyways. That makes a good date night. The people who work there are nice and accommodating when they can be. The people who attend...are usually a different story. We are in Miami so it's expected no matter what you do in this town. NO PHOTOS OR RECORDING but let's do it anyways. SILENCE YOUR PHONES AND DONT TEXT but nobody listens and the light ruins everything. NO TALKING but let's talk like we're at a party anyways. I can keep on. The ushers do the best they can to stop this, but damn. Just keep these things in mind and you should have a good time. read more

We should be very proud in Miami of having a place like this- It is clearly apparent that they have been working hard to address the issues that came up when the place first opened - I.E. Lack of parking, long waits for the valet parking and more- T heir customer service is flawless- virtually everyone we came across from the ticket booth to the ushers were phenomenal. Not only they were very polite and happy to give information but they actually walk with you and show you ... WOW!! The acoustics are fantastic and we had the good fortune of seating in one of the boxes for the show and it was very comfortable and the view was fine, even though we were quite high up - There are free tours of this place throughout the week and I strongly recommend you visit and tour it - it is really good - If we can only get the crowds to start coming it will be a great landmark for our Magic City. read more

Came here last night to see War Horse at the Ziff Ballet Opera House. I'm a huge fan of the movie but the play seemed never ending...Zzzzzzz. Good play overall. Amazing how they brought Joey the life-sized horse puppet to life on stage. Expect to pay $10.00 per glass of wine & $15.00 for parking across the street. read more

This review is specifically for the Arriolla theater inside the AAC. This was my first time at the AAC. Everything is absolutely stunning. Well, everything except for the back room where they hosted the 20th Anniversary of Summer Shorts tonight. (June 4, 2015) The lobby is small with only 3 tables although there are at least 100 seats inside the theater. The seats are cheapy Ikea-looking plastic chairs. For $35 a pop I expect at the very least a padded folding chair. During intermission we stepped out to grab some refreshments to hold us off until dinner. For $17.50 we got two 8oz cokes, a 2-pack of some fake tasting cookies and salty snack mix. Btw, no food allowed in the theater, beverages only. :/ So we packed the leftovers in my purse and headed back in at the beep. As for the show, it was excellent! It was my very first Summer Shorts ever and I enjoyed it very much. 5 stars to them. Flare, Risen from the Doug and Cougar were great! I hope to be back soon, perhaps to the main theater for the ballet. read more

I have been to Adrienne Arsht a couple times now, to see shows in the Ziff Ballet Opera House. I saw Million Dollar Quartet a while back, and more recently I saw Mary Poppins. Both experiences were excellent. I have also been here for a free event, which involved children and teens from a local school reading poetry and performing other spoken word art forms. This was probably my favorite event because it was so raw and tbeautiful and the kids were SO TALENTED. It made me a little sad that the auditorium was mostly empty, but maybe it had to do with advertising. Definitely check out the Adrienne Arsht website, because they offer a few free events throughout the year. A lot of them are directed at families, but are still cool for other people who are young at heart. :) If you are in a group or are a professional bouncer with big muscles or otherwise feel like you have some extra safety net, I would recommend parking on the street nearby to save money (it's kind of scary at night so I wouldn't recommend doing this if you're alone). The first time I came here we parked on the other side of Biscayne (so not the side where the Ziff Ballet Opera house is, but across US1 from it), and we paid $6 for parking, giving ourselves plenty of time just in case. The second time I came here, we parked in the lot adjacent to the building and paid $15. As a grad student, I found that was too much for me! After the show, they do have police all around and crossing guards to help you get on your way. If you are interested in saving a penny or two, you can avoid the processing fee or whatever they call it by purchasing your tickets at the actual in-person box office instead of online. Just make sure to check when the box office is open (it has its own hours), because I have made mistakes with that. The Ziff Ballet Opera House is gorgeous. I have never sat very close, but the sound is perfect and it really doesn't matter if you get balcony seats because you can see everything. Before/after/during the shows, merchandise related to the show is on sale and they always have very cute stuff. The attendants working inside are always extremely nice and friendly, and everything is wonderfully clean, including restrooms! If I could, I would attend every single show that Adrienne Arsht puts on! read more

This review is for the theater that The Illusionists took place in as well as the lobby area. I enjoyed my experience at this theater and I really liked how everything was clean and polished. The staff was friendly and even the security guards appeared to be enjoying themselves. The prices for snacks, water, etc. were a little high although it is Miami.... If a show that I want to see happens to end up here, I will have no qualms about returning to this performing arts center. read more

It can be so hard not to be biased at a venue if you have fantastic seats, at an incredible show. But I will do my best to distance myself from the specific performance and tell you, I think that Adrienne Arsht is the the tops when it comes to seeing a play, musical or orchestral arrangement. I have been to others shows here, and at other venues in South Florida and abroad and can say this is one of the best I have been to. There is many things to consider in a performance arts center. Primarily sound and ambiance though. Most places ensure their sound is great so the watermark starts pretty high there. here the sound is excellent. Where Adrienne Arsht takes it to the next level is in ambiance. Starting with the half hazard beauty of the building itself, a work of art that stands out in rougher part of downtown Miami. You can spot it from miles away as you get closer. The walk in is spectacular. It immediately makes you feel like your at a place of worship for the arts. A couple of nit picks: I don't think they have pre-pay drinks for intermission. The Broward center has this so when there is the break you don't have to stand in line. Also if it was possible better lighting in the neighborhood as it is full of homeless wandering the area. Most likely this has been looked into and not on their control. As always, the better the seats, the better the show. And yes, "Book of Mormon" is a blast! read more

I love musicals, shows, dance, anything that has to do with music and dance. So, I went here for a Flamencos show during February that I won in Yelp! what a great show and had a marvelous time. I am actually thinking of going to the Lion King musical. Came here for the first time on New Year's Eve for a Peter London dance performance. There is a parking lot located directly in front of the Arsht Center that cost $15 or you can do street parking through the Pay by Phone app for $1.50 an hour. The center is pretty large and can hold multiple performances at once. The show I saw was in the Carnival Theater which is a smaller more intimate venue that looks like it can hold maybe 100 in the audience. The dozen staff I came across during my visit were all very friendly. This performance arts center is a great addition to Downtown Miami. read more
