There are hanging black chains surrounding the space's perimeter making for a Light Box outlined in black. You'll find yourself delighted by the palpable positive energy of the staff and perfomer(s). I'm looking forward to seeing this become a community space with smart, well-curated events. If you're a planner or just looking for an event space, keep in mind the space is small with maybe 80 - 100 seats max.

Came here after a day two outing at UMF, with doors open and shut at 11pm and 5am, respectively. Needless to say, the crew, along with yours truly, were running on fumes. A caveat with the place is that security was pretty inattentive. They failed to inform us of the proper place to enter the venue; although the address is listed on 24th Street, general admission entrance is on 23rd. Went through two sets of security before being informed of this. I was pretty peeved, seeing as how the music coming out of the entrance was amazing, and I wanted to be in there. Also, the water is $10, with no options for tap. If you wanna kill people, go right ahead and keep up that business practice while you line your wallets you greedy greedy b@stards; I do understand it's not Maps who does this per se, but rather the promotional groups who rent out the venue... but still, I gotta blame someone. Luckily, an arrival of 2:00 in the AM resulted in a non-existent line by the time myself and my people located the correct entrance. Thankfully the featured performance, and one of my personal favorites, wasn't slated to start his set till 2:30, so I ended up getting to watch a very surprising set from Alan Walker; very pleasantly surprised. In fact, all the performances were top notch. The abundance of room to dance, as well as state of the art LEDs and visual displays, along with some terrific sound systems gave me the second wind I needed to stay near closing time. The casual dress code was also welcome. Better believe that next MMW, I'll be looking to party here.

One of the employees, perhaps the manager, described each of the 3 current exhibit. Entrance fee is free for Bank of America customers the first full weekend of the month. I was able to find free and convenient street parking on NE 8th Avenue. The 3 current exhibits are Leigh Gordon, Kanaval a chronology of Haiti's carnival; Dider William and the Victory Garden, which was the reason for my visit. The Victory Garden, in the museum's Paradise Courtyard, is an inspiration to find solutions to food scarcity. You are given a paper bag and encouraged to ship some herbs. Basil, culantro, tomatoes and oregano were just a few plants in the garden. Current hours, according to their website are Mon & Tue, closed; Wed. 12-7; Thur. - Sun. 12-5. Admission is $10 for adults, free for children under 12, veterans and North Miami employees and residents. I would plan on spending 1 -2 hours at the museum. I recommend a visit to MOCA

The nice view of the lake was a perfect setting for the sunset as we enjoyed delicious food and wonderful music on the patio. Later on, we went inside and as I walked through the silent auction hallways, I noticed that the A/C was not enough for all the people in there, we were a little bit hot. But everything worked out perfectly fine once we went inside the ballroom on the third floor, where we had a night to remember, with amazing music, lighting, food, and so much fun. Restrooms were all clean and fully equipped. Security guards were there at all times. They offered free WiFi and we also got free shuttles to the parking garage. Thank you. She, alongside her staff brought my vision to life and exceeded my expectations. The food & cake selection was amazing as well. It all tasted so good. The bartender makes super good classic drinks, such as Mojitos, sex on the beach, screwdrivers, etc. In conclusion, I am very happy I chose this banquet hall to celebrate my party and I would recommend it to anyone I know. Beaux Arts is Miami's oldest juried art show. It was founded in 1952 by fifty women from a…read morevolunteer group led by Anne Atkinson, then Assistant Director of the newly built Joe and Emily Lowe Art Gallery. The purpose of the group was to provide funds for the Lowe Art Museum. The first show had art on clothes lines to display it for buyers. In 1987 Beaux Art's introduced the Hands On program to bring art to children in underserved communities in Miami. The show has now grown into an annual event with over 200 artists displaying works in 10 different mediums on the campus of the University of Miami. This was my first time attending the festival and I couldn't have picked a better time. The 75th anniversary of the festival coincides with the University of Miami playing in the CFP National Championship tonight against the Indiana Hoosiers. The campus was buzzing with Cane pride. On campus parking was available in the Pavia parking Garage for $10. I also noticed that you could park across the street for free and walk over. Admission to the festival was free. I love the park like setting of UM. The campus is beautiful and it was the perfect setting for all of the wonderful art that was displayed. The fair was actually much larger than I expected it to be. In addition to the many art tents where you could vote for your favorite, there was a food area, live music, artisan vendor tents, and children's activities. There was so much going on that it would take several hours to take it all in. You could also visit the Lowe Art Museum which was open. I was really impressed with this event and it is a January highlight for many others too.

There are easily 5 people attending our party and I haven't seen a single smile. Anything we request seems to be an absolute chore for the staff. I am incredibly astounded at the condition of the salt shakers. I am well aware that cleaning salt shakers can be a gigantic pain in the ass, but if you have metal tops, please take a moment to dry them before placing them back on the shaker. We had 2 non functioning salt shakers at the table and upon opening them we found clumped salt all the way to the shaker top and rust...yes rust!! The amount of money they charge per person should buy me a smile and rust-free salt shakers. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
