Do you ever go to do something and get a really bad feeling? That's what happened today…read more First I get a message from the original girl I booked with that, "Something came up," but she was putting me with someone else and she was great. Well I then get there and walk in and no one is there to greet me, red flag #1. Then the esthetician finally gets me set up and the whole time she's just saying this isn't her normal set up, I'm going to be the last one here, and during my brow lamination she's thumbing through a book on how to do brow laminations. I wanted to cry. I will be the first to admit my eyebrows are lacking but I was so sad with how they turned out compared to great work I've seen online. Anyway, I immediately went home brushed them down. But what a waste of $100 and my eyebrow health. I knew I should've canceled. EDIT: After this service I got in contact with the owner who offered to allow the money I spent go to another service vs refunding my money (which she did mention they don't normally do but would this time) and she also provided me with a sample of cream to put on my eyebrows because not only did I not get the results I wanted I also apparently had a reaction to the chemicals used. They take the time to explain the process and answer all of your questions. They never make me feel silly for crazy questions or my general curiosity. The younge girl removed my lashes...or so i thought, I only had a very light classic set on so when she was done I didnt think anything of it, paid and tipped and went about my day running errands, when I got home I noticed there were still quite a few lashes still left! One on the right eye and atleast 14+ on the left eye! I am extremely disappointed! I called up there ro let them know and the girl on the phone was very nice. She told me her manager wasnt in today and she would text me once she talked to him, she messaged me back and told me he would handle my issue tomorrow... so I guess we will see what tomorrow brings and I will update then! This was not a great impression for my first visit there....it was a very nice place on the inside I will say...

She has over 10 years of experience with eyelash extensions and it absolutely shows. She knew exactly which lashes to use to give me the look I wanted. She also gave me tips on how to keep my lashes in the best condition in order to keep them on longer. Meraki also uses a setting technique so that you only need to keep your lashes dry for 12 hours instead of a full 24 hours. I also imagine it will help them stay on longer, but that's just an assumption. The receptionists were both super sweet and helpful with booking appointments and suggesting the right lash cleanser to travel with. My lashes have never looked better and they are less expensive than most of the lash lounges in Louisville, which is hard to believe given the quality!
