Seriously? My toe is sending shooting pain across my foot and up my ankle. Apparently speaking louder to me will make me believe the pain in the toe is not the issue. Very unproductive visit, so after 3 years of co-pays I am seeking a 2nd opinion elsewhere.

He incorporates corrective chiropractic in which they also offer massage therapy and physical therapy as part of your treatment. This allows for you to correct the problems instead of just getting adjustments over and over again to no avail because things stay out of alignment. Muscle work and PT is essential to allow for new muscle memory to hold alignments in place the way your body was meant to be. Dr T and his team do just that. I highly recommend. So, it seems very strange to me that when I call the office for the first time in 2 years reporting an acute inflammation and pain flare-up asking to fill a prescription for an emergency Prednisone pack (which is what helped me in the past), I get a callback 5 hours later with their secretary's barely intelligible instructions on how to take Aleve twice a day with food. Did anyone even bother to look at my chart and medical history? A whooping 5 seconds would have revealed that I was under observation for the last year, following doctor's suggestion to gradually get off my current medications and reporting an acute flare-up is definitely a RED FLAG. Inexcusable. Also, how little am I informed about how to take Aleve after 10 years of joint pain? Why would I bother calling the office if I wasn't panicking in unbearable pain that I haven't felt in 7 years? Criminal carelessness and neglect.

They have a small waiting room, maybe 10 chairs, with 2 empty seats. The lady I sat next to was complaining about the wait as I was sitting down. As time went by, and people were going in and out, I noticed that people were being called back that came after me. Now, I'm reasonable and I know that there are other services being provided. However, a lady came in and sat right next to me. We chatted for about 30 minutes about different things. She told me that she was there to see Dr. Kendall. At about 11:15, someone came out and called her. At this point, I've been there for nearly 90 minutes! And why is this lady being called before me? So, I get up and I wait behind a lady checking in. Someone walks up and nicely asked if I was checking in. I said I want to make sure you all did not forget about me and her response was that there were only 2 doctors there. This has nothing to do with why people who walked in after me are being called back before me. So, I sat down, made an appt for 11:45 at an Orthopedic doctor down the street. I walked out, made it to my appointment at 11:40 and was almost immediately whisked away for an x-ray. I saw a doctor and was out of there within 45 minutes. So, I wasted a $55 copay at an office that did not provide me any services. I don't know if existing patients have priority over new patients at this office, but this should have been explained when I made the appointment. The lady I chatted with says Dr Kendall is a great doctor. Give him a try if you've got all day to wait.​​

I just went to my second visit and all went well. I would suggest to other veterans to try your local VA clinics rather than the hospital for routine visits. It's not as crowded and the employees don't seem as stressed and burnt out like the hospital employees.
