To whom it may concern, I am writing to describe my…read moreexperience while applying for a Line of Credit from TD Bank. My Mortgage Loan Officer named Keisha Evens amazed me on 5/13/26 during the initial steps applying for the Home Equity Line of Credit. She described the general process and she responded in a timely way whenever I called. Her timely responses and knowledge increased my confidence. I received an Approval letter 5/29/26 related to my finances and was transferred to a Loan Processor. The next experience with the Loan Processor revealed a limited knowledge in every way. There was a loss of paperwork that was eventually found and a lack of knowledge relating to specific information requested. The secured portal did not allow an ability to upload faxed documents for the Consumer to view. It seemed Staff worked from home which might not be an issue had a link existed with the local bank to help, also. The lack of knowledge about required paperwork occurred more than once and delayed the overall process. I requested a call from the Supervisor about unanswered emails with no response. How frustrating! Summer and the 4th of July Holiday created additional delays. A big issue occurred with the Title Company name Service Link per Lorin Dale-Pierce. Service Link didn't know that property taxes and sewer bills were under the NCC property tax. Service Link implied an unpaid property tax of $0.02 existed per Loan Processor. It wasn't my property tax. I spoke with Mitch from NCC property/ sewer tax on 7/14/26 and resolved the mystery within a minute. My sewer bill of $0.02 was incorrectly paid to NCC earlier this year. I paid the bill 7/14/26 and faxed the receipt to TD bank with another delay determining acceptance. Next, there was a specific wording required for my Property Deed within my Living Trust. Coleen S, Paralegal clarified this wording, however TD did not agree with the wording and this delayed time. It would have been beneficial had TD provided the specific wording through a check list. Then, an issue developed requiring an Updated Property Deed and another week passed due to the July 4th Holiday. Gratefully, Coleen Spellman, Paralegal working with Elle Dahlgren Law LLC monitored the resolution of the Updated Deed's paperwork and sent the paperwork via email to TD as soon as it was available. In this customer's opinion, the process would improve with a checklist for the Loan Processors, knowledgable Supervisors to shadow Loan Processors, an improved accessibly secured portal for faxed documents being viewed enabling customers to follow. Using a Title Company that has knowledge related to Property taxes and Sewer bills would reduce confusion and unnecessary delays, too. In contrast, I applied for a TD Line of Credit 10 years ago and the process was seamless. Communication, knowledge and organization were exceptional. I closed on this experience July 22nd with Lorin Dale-Pierce working with James Curran Law. Her detailed review of the paperwork was exceptional. I received the signed and notarized documents within a week. I hope to increase customer awareness choosing their bank for a Line of Credit. This was an unsettling learning experience.

This is an average TD Bank location, which is to say they're quite good as far as service goes. The…read moreonly real disappointment is recently, they cut their evening hours and they now close at 7pm instead of 8pm. Which means I have less time to get to the bank after leaving work.
