I spoke to rossy and she had the worst attitude. She was outright mean and honestly I felt like she was looking down on my situation

Also the ladies working there are not personable at all judging my interaction I had as well as with others while I was waiting in line. If there's other options I'll just go somewhere else next time.

I've used them one time, and that was when I got a surprise check in the mail from Donald Trump. I…read morebelieve it was a $1,500. 00 Covid check, the first (my only) in a round of many checks sent out to citizens. You remember, the one that was delayed because he insist they all be printed with his name and signature on them? That was funny. So these ladies cashed my check for me for no problem. I don't recall what the rate was, but yeah it was a little bit high, but WTF, it was free money anyway, spread it around to local businesses a little bit. So are they grumpy? Maybe. But grump is subjective, and it sure sounds to me like the context of most of these grump gripers be a little insensitive to normal, adult behavior. Yes, there is short amount of supply for a service only the really needy really need. When you sign the check before you take it in to the check cashing facility, it reveals a very powerful ignorance on the way things work in personal finance. Every institution requires signature in their presence. Expecting them to trade out A fistful of your grimy twenties for fresh, Chris $100 bills without any financial incentive to do so is unreasonable, and the fact that somebody believes it unreasonable to be told no reveals a childish, uninformed mindset. And even if you did not find them meeting your standards of polite etiquette and/or adequate levels of butt kissing, why don't you try to be the person you expect them to be and see if they don't respond with kind words. It really is a shame that inaccurate and unnecessary petty, vindictive, public comments accompanied by one star ratings can drag a small businesses image down so low in today's instant wreckage opportunity. These folks work hard to provide a service for people that have very few choices in the community, usually due to poor choices they've made in their lives. These reviews seem mean-spirited and spiteful, wielded with no regard for the damage they can do to good people's business. Shame shame. You'd think that the lumps they've taken or being schooled that they were wrong would make them a little more humble. This began as a four-star rating, but I'm going to up it to five just for having to put up with people like that.

So it may be that their standard mark up price is a nickel per Euro. There was no exchange fee on top of this. I recommend that someone looking to buy Euros contact their bank. It is possible they can have some in 2-3 days for a better price. Money Market will only accept cash for currency exchange. Money Market is also a payday lender. This is a highly discredited business and victimizes the most vulnerable working people with extremely high interest rates. 6 years ago congress began cracking down on payday lenders, but the current administration rolled back the legislation. For that reason you may not want to patronize Money Market. For Euro exchange I found it to be ok.

I paid them back, as agreed. The next month, I borrowed the money again. When I was due to pay it back, I was in a bad car accident...a head on collison. I went in there to borrow and was refused service. I explained I was o k a car accident. They didn't care. I found myself faced with a bad attitude from the owner all over again. Save yourself some heartache and go someplace else. Good luck!

We are both in our early 40s, well dressed, and obviously not trying to pull anything. Without justification, they told us they would not cash the check, even though they had previously (within the week) cashed a personal check for my wife, drawn on an out of town bank written by an out of town party. Backstory: My wife and I were sick with the flu, trying to cash a paycheck from a local business, while we were both running fevers and needed the money for firewood. If I were you, stay away from this place. Its in a bad part of Pacific Avenue, they are obviously used to dealing with freaks and drug dealers, and when faced with the clearest of all situations, they refused to do their job. These people are epitomes of the sleazy reputations that check cashing places apparently deserve.
