At the end of last year, I started a business and decided that KeyPoint was the only way to go for all of my business banking. I have had no issues with my personal or business accounts but anytime I have a question there is always somebody available to help. The personal touch that's offered by this credit union is appreciated and so convenient! As a new business owner, KeyPoint has also provided the opportunity to participate in community events! We recently did an event that was coordinated by Manny, Tommy, and Alex and it was a huge success! My aunt received a debit card from KP, but she never signed up for one. We called to inquire and they said they couldn't locate her in the system. However, they did find another person with the same first and last name with different address and different SNN. They said they will investigate. We followed up several times but each time they could not locate the case# or there's no trail of the audit. I have a couple of accounts at a "big bank", but my husband has banked at KPCU for years, so I've seen / experienced what great service they provide. I finally decided to pull the trigger and move all of my money over to KPCU, and I went in to this branch last Saturday to open a new account for that purpose. With Amber's help, we figured out an alternative game plan. She was absolutely delightful to talk to and was very knowledgeable about the different types of accounts available, so I could make the best decision for moving my money. My adult daughter was also with me because she needed to open a new account as well. She was helped by someone named Alyssa (?) Great customer service! I came into this branch to sign some papers for an auto loan. While I didn't initiate the auto loan here the employees were extremely helpful nonetheless. Lucas and his branch manager, Jonah, walked me through the documents and printed the cashiers checks I need for the DMV fees. I messed up one of the forms and they happily printed a new one for me. Afterwards Lucas and Jonah changed my checking account to one without any service fees, amazing! KPCU will be my first avenue for future auto loans because the rates were the lowest, application process was simple and digital, and communication throughout the process was timely. read more

I went back to KPCU to reopen my account because they simply cannot be beat by any other competitor. I've been banking here since I was a teen and always had a great experience. On 7/18/22 I walked into the branch coincidentally the SAME time Lukas Thai happened to come in. I had no idea he was an employee there as he opened the door for me to walk in. I just thought "Ah what a polite person. Not much of that left in the Bay Area." Within a minute of being in the Lobby Lukas invited me into his office to help me with my banking needs. I was shocked because we walked in at the same time. Lukas went above and beyond to help me with all of my needs. I left there very satisfied and for the first time in my life I could refer to him as my "Personal Banker". If I come in the branch for any of my needs I would request for Lukas. I felt very comfortable talking to him as it felt like I was hanging out with a friend I've known for years. I can now see why people request certain bankers when they go to a branch --- I never had an experience like this that I would actually want to go back to. I left proud knowing I have someone I can trust and assist me with any professional bank needs. I came here to reopen my account, but left applying for a credit card, attempted to refinance my car, with a savings account, and met a banker thant I can call my friend. Though the process of everything took 3 hours from start to finish -- it felt like an hour or less. I'd recommend everyone I know to ask for Lukas because you will leave feeling good, smiling, and happy to "Check off the bank run" errand on your to do list. I have just had a very positive experience with Ithe KeyPoint branch office in San Jose/Santa Teresa and I was very impressed by the way the branch manager Ana Garcia took ownership and helped me resolve a disputed transaction, which KeyPoint alerted me to, with a third party vendor. Not only did she take control of the process inside KeyPoint she supported my efforts in obtaining resolution with the third party vendor by communicating directly with them on my behalf which helped resolve the matter quickly. They offer great service but they don't take cash deposits which is not good. I had to drive to North San Jose to make my cash deposit.

Kevin was tremendous in helping us understand our loan limitations, closing costs, and what was needed to close on our home. He worked closely with us and our agent to get what we needed promptly. An amazing person to work with for our first home purchase. We're definitely going to come back to for our future financial needs and he'll be our recommendation to others. Magda was the loan processor for us and even though most of her work was behind-the-scenes, she understood the closing deadline.
