The staff at Exit 1 RV were never pushy, and unlike every other place I contacted, they NEVER hounded me with phone calls, emails, texts, etc. Not once. Months after purchasing my camper, I continue to receive spam calls from big chain outfits I originally looked into (but didn't buy from), wooed by their flashy online prices. I'm a teacher, so please learn this from me: 1-The great prices that chain stores offer online exclude pretty much...EVERYTHING. Exit 1 RV includes it ALL. Believe them. 2-THINK about where you will get your camper serviced. They all need service, just like your car. If you get a GREAT chain store deal (see #1, it isn't so great), or FB marketplace deal, where will you get it serviced? Think ahead. Exit 1 provides great local service. 3-The personal touch. When we picked up our camper, my husband and I stopped for coffee first. We spent hours, led by Exit 1 staff, leisurely going through our camper and asking EVERY question, flicking EVERY switch, moving EVERY hose, learning by doing. Do you think that happens when you buy a discount "clearance" camper online? No. We weren't rushed at all. We were encouraged to keep asking! This morning, 2 days after bringing the camper home, I opened my mailbox to find a hand written thank you note from Kelly, who guided us through the sales process. What more can I say, except, stop looking for the lowest number online, and head to Exit 1, where you CAN get a great deal, and you'll have a great experience as well.

So our 2017 Jeep GC overheated 2 days ago(05/14/26). I found Auto Fix online, and contacted them…read moreimmediately. Made arrangements to bring it in the following day. Did that. Explained my situation and was told it could be done right away. Got an estimate of over $700, and even though I knew that was a bit on the high side for the job, I agreed to have it done. Not even 2 hours later, I got a call from them, that the job was done. $60 for a gallon of coolant/antifreeze, and I had just paid $25 for a gallon of recommended coolant. Of which, one gallon in, one gallon out. that's when I figured it was more than likely the waterpump. And, for the sake of an hour and a half, I got charged $240 for labor. At just over 2 hours worth of labor, how much are they charging for it? Seems like $120-$150/hour. And for a job that barely took an hour and a half, Hmmm!! Anyway, happy that they got my vehicle in immediately, but not happy with their pricing. 20 years ago, I could have done this job myself for well less than 1/2 of that. But considering I'm now in my 60's, just don't have what it takes(tools, facility, or physical condition to do it anymore. Never again. Tired of being legally robbed.

Approximately 2 weeks later on a trip to Nashville Tennessee the repair failed while drivng down the highway 1100 miles from home. The failure almost caused my tire to fall off. I was able to get it to the side of the highway and towed to a local garage. Without any prior knowledge of a recent repair the mechanic in Tennessee noted the cv axle nut was cross threaded and caused the failure. When approached, Lee got defensive and claimed by the pictures he saw it was caused by a different part in the wheel even though the mechanic who had hands and eyes on it noted the failure was caused by the cross thread. Instead of taking responsibility Lee decided to lie about his conversation with the mechanic in Tennessee and then proceeded to offer me less than half the cost of repair in order to make this go away. Now im forced to sue him and make sure everyone knows the hack job his garage did. ​​

I'm about to leave on a long trip, tight on money. They initially said I could only get a replacement with a receipt. Calling back, they were good enough to reconsider. If you buy a part there, don't count on being able to return it unless you've stored the paper receipt or snapped a pic of it. My suggestion to Advance Auto Parts is to build goodwill by doing what your local pet groomer can do, namely, look up a purchase by card used. There were two employees, one, Kennan, was already outside diagnosing a customers headlight issue. The other, Nathan, assured us that they would get her car checked out, even if it was after closing. Every time we apologized to Nathan for keeping them late, and asking if we should skip it and just get a new battery in the morning, he assured us that it was not a problem, and that they want to make sure she had a reliable vehicle for the drive. When Kennan was free, just before closing, he happily took us out to check her car. Turned out the battery was fine, but the alternator was bad. He advised us that this could lead to the car dying while being driven, and gave us some suggestions of mechanics. He seemed very happy to help us, even after hours. He let us take pictures of the diagnostics. All in all, not only were Nathan and Kennan incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional, they also saved us from buying an unnecessary battery, and possibly from getting stranded roadside.
