I visited this store for the first time since it was built, regardless of it being the closest auto shop near me. When I entered, I immediately noticed the confederate flag hanging off of the register. While looking for a part, I was greeted by an employee who was wearing a pin that stayed "support you local natzi." While this employee was kind and helpful to me (a straight passing, cis, white girl) he made several derogatory comments about "the gays." When checking out, the cashier asked me my name (Hailey) and was visibly struggling to spell my name, so I proceeded to spell it for her, when she then stated "I must be ret@rded." I am truly appalled by the e comment in this store and strongly urge individuals to take their business elsewhere. read more

The staff is always nice but this is the most useless store. They NEVER have anything you need in stock! Even basic parts like wiper blades! You're better off ordering online and having what you need shipped to your home. Or going right to a place like NAPA or the car dealer. read more

Got amazing help from Advance Auto in Matamoras but did not get her name. She went above and beyond to read the code on my car and figure out what part really needed replacing after other parts I tried did not clear the code. Because of her help I was able to determine the best path for me was to trade in my car but without that information I wouldn't have been able to make that decision. I did not buy any parts that day but I am so happy with this store and the thoughtful very qualified person who helped me that I will be back for all my auto part/accessories/fluid needs going forward! read more

Normally I shop online. You generally get more choices and better prices, but have to wait for a few days for item to arrive. Well, this time I did not want to wait, and went to this place to buy 02 sensor I needed. The guy at the counter was great, very helpful. Got the part, paid, out the door in quick. When I got back to my car I discovered that the box is open, and so is the plastic bag to hold the part. Someone had returned it for some reason. So, I went back to the store to change it. The guy who sold it to me was busy with another customer, and here comes SHE. Here is how our conversation went. She: "May I help you." Me: "Yes. I just bought this and its been opened. I' like to change it to another one, unopened, please." She: "I do not know if we have another one in stock." Me: "Would you, please, check." She raises her voice: "I said, we do not have another one in stock. And you are being rude." Me: "What? How am I being rude? Did you hear what I said? I asked you to, please, double check if you have another one. Is it rude?" She, still in raised voice: "Yes, you are very ROOD!". Then she looks on the computer and tells me that there is no more, and I could order another one and come back later. Me: "Can I speak with a manager?" She: "I am the store manager." Me: "What is your name?" She says her name, but I could not understand. Me: "I am sorry?" She handles me her business card. On it: ------------------------------- Darylann Heller General Manager. Excellent service! Noah, was quick to diagnose my BMW, which was running rough, retrieved the part and even helped guide and got a little dirty, with the install.
