what a joke unless auto zone is the only store that does not physically help customers but then again as a female I don't frequent auto parts store. Anyway I walk in and all the employees are huddled behind counter by the door. I ask for wiper blades the kid went in the system I picked the ones that I wanted and instead of grabbing them for the customer he sends me down the wiper isle. I looked and looked for the ones I picked and they weren't there. first like advance auto or NAPA I was expecting help but they weren't too busy in their conversation he actually didn't ev n check in they were in stock because the price I was quoted the item was not there. I got so aggravated so I left went to Advanced auto where they helped me in the isle to pick out the blades and then offered to change them out NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! read more

I needed a new battery for my motorcycle, so I decided to go to a "reputable" store. The Newton, NJ Auto Zone didn't have one that would fit mine, but they told me the Matamoras Auto Zone had one. It was over an hour away so I figured, I'll call first to verify. The man who answered the phone wouldn't let me give him the make and model of my bike. Instead, he said "we have a lot of batteries. Just bring it in and we'll match it up". Then he abruptly hung up OK, I really wanted to get riding so I made the one hour trip with my old battery. Keep in mind that I'm following all the guidelines for Covid 19 safety precautions and I'm limiting all unnecessary exposure. So I walk up the stairs to the door and inside nobody is wearing masks. Two customers were having a great time talking with the guy behind the counter and a younger kid "helped" me. He looked up my old battery on the computer and told me that they don't have this battery and they don't make it anymore. To add insult to injury, he informed me that the Newton, NJ had two of them in stock and it was only an hour away.
