I have been going to this Walmart to get my oil changed since moving to Ruston but will not be back…read moreafter today. Every time I've gone in I've gotten their cheapest oil change which is a pit crew. Today without telling me they decided that they were going to give me a standard oil change and charge me for this when I did not ask for a standard. Livid I went ahead and paid for it and would return with receipts from previous visits and to speak with a manger. I had already waited an hour at this point. I happened to have receipts from previous visits in my car and took them in and asked to speak with a manger. While waiting for a manager, another employee sat there and tried to tell me that one of the technicians told her thats what I requested. It was not what I requested and he wouldn't even be the one to know what I requested because it was not him who I even talked to. The store managers solution was to instead of giving me a refund for charging me for something I didn't request or ask for, was to bring my car back in and waste more time for them to "re-do" my oil change. Yeah no thanks, I just won't be back.

However, my most recent visits have been deeply disappointing due to interactions with two employees, Julie and Komona. Over the past three weeks, I visited the dealership twice and encountered significant difficulties dealing with Julie and Komona. Despite my strong credit history and proven track record as a customer, I was misinformed and treated unfairly. Julie incorrectly told me that my FICO score was significantly lower than it actually is--something I know firsthand, as I have been working diligently for two years to improve it. She also stated that I would need a cosigner, which turned out to be false. Frustrated, I decided to take my business elsewhere and went to another location of the same brand. Within an hour and a half, I was approved for the exact same vehicle--without a cosigner and with a better interest rate. That vehicle is now being allocated to me, and I'll be picking it up in the next 10 days. What disappoints me most is that I've been a loyal customer, and I've even helped this dealership with sponsorship opportunities in the past. I expected honesty, transparency, and a level of respect that simply wasn't given during my last two visits. Unfortunately, this experience has made it clear that I will not be returning to this location, nor will I refer others here as I have in the past. I'll be sending them to the Eldorado location instead, where I was treated fairly and professionally. To be clear, I still highly recommend working with Raymond Benton--he's an exceptional salesman--and Joel, the general manager, has always been great. Unfortunately, neither of them was available when I visited, and the experience I had in their absence was unacceptable. I hope this feedback leads to improvements in how customers are treated. I located two places and I figured I'd call both to get a "feel" for each shop. The first shop wasn't ingratiating at all. But when I phoned ACE and told them of our recent move and about how we like keeping our vehicles well tuned, it was as if I were talking to an old friend. Kendon welcomed us to Ruston and invited us to "come on down" anytime so we could meet in person. I cannot express enough how professional, kind, personable and helpful everyone at shop is. In my experiences, they go out of their way to make sure we understand what needs to be down to keep the cars purring! So, if you don't want to be seen by the cops you might want to drive on. In my case during my 1st visit we were so glad that this is the place to find the cops. We had had an accident about a 1/2 hour prior and the car was acting funny. So with car manual in hand we attempted to pop the hood and assess the damage. Luckily the cop came over to assist and called for back up a sergeant with extensive knowledge of Chryslers. It was determined that the car should go to the local dealer and we were given a police escort. When we finally left Ruston LA is was out last stop to fill up the tank on the rental -- no police assistance required.
