History

Established in 1986.

Advance Eye Care centered opened here at its original location in 1986 buy Dr. Robert MacKay (now retired). He practiced until 2009. Dr. Rhea Anderson and Dr. Myles Bokinac, a husband and wife team purchased the practice from Dr. MacKay in 2005 and have grown this great practice into a busy three doctor practice. All of our Doctors are from Regina and area originally and are proud to call Saskatchewan home. We strive to provide the excellent care and service that each and every one of our patients deserve. We are always happy to welcome new patients to the office.

Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Myles B.

Dr. Myles Bokinac graduated from the University of Waterloo with honours in 2004. He was awarded the College of Optometrists in Vision Developments' Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy as well as the Ocular Sciences Contact Lens Award for excellence in contact lens care. Originally from Bethune, Saskatchewan, Myles is happy to have returned to Saskatchewan. After having practised in Weyburn and Moose Jaw, he joined his wife, Dr. Rhea Anderson at their practice in Regina in 2005. Myles has participated in volunteer eye care missions to Mexico in the past and plans to continue his volunteer work in the future. He is active in the Saskatchewan Association of Optometrists as an assessor of the Jurisprudence Exam and as an appraiser for the Standards of Practice Committee. Myles is also a member of the Grand Coulee Volunteer Fire Department.
