Brown tile floor, brown wood vanity. Why would anyone choose to make a bathroom the color of poop I cannot reconcile to myself. I have been annoying my husband for two years since we moved in to the house with my rants about it. This year I convinced him to let me spend some of our tax return on changing that. Thanks to my raging addiction to HGTV I knew exactly what I wanted to do in there and contacted Brian about my vision in mind. He is the most laid back dude, super chill and easy to work with. Brian does beautiful tile work, he made some very helpful suggestions about the tile and how to lay it so it would look the nicest. Aside from the tile work, he also changed out the shower head, replaced the vanity sink and installed faucets and a new backsplash, replaced the mirror, light fixture and toilet. Oh! And he hung up some shelves and changed the light above the shower. He did an amazing job. My husband was very happy with the changes that were made, his only negative was "This is so nice now the rest of the house looks like crap". Ha! Kelly B recommended Brian at Two Ells. I called him that day, left a message. He returned the message that day and we set up a time for an estimate. I love prompt responsiveness, and right off the bat, I had a good feeling about Brian. My parents haven't had any major work done in their 1980-built house since they moved in, circa 1984. Partly because they didn't want to spend the money and partly because it can be difficult finding an honest, affordable contractor, which has to do with the first reason really. Two of the several things I'm super grateful for regarding the way Brian works are his honesty and his ability to see projects in a cost-effective way. He is also extremely patient. My Mom had some health issues arise during our plans and Brian was so patient with us and having to push the date back (& our slacking on picking out materials, mostly because my mom is a perfectionist procrastinator). While we were waiting on the bathroom finalization, Brian painted our upstairs hallway and our family room and did a great job. He also replaced all of the gross fluorescent tube lighting in our kitchen and powder room with recessed lighting. I swear if you can only change one thing in a house built in the 70's-80's, the upgrade in lighting will make a WORLD of difference. My parents home only has one shower so it was VITAL that the tub and shower tile work was done relatively quickly. Brian and Bryce had the tub, tiles, and fixtures installed and ready to be used in 3.5 days. We were blown away with how quickly they worked and how beautiful the tile work turned out. The remainder of the bathroom work (new floor, new toilet, new lighting, painting, new doors, new vanity and counter top) took about 7-8 work days, at the most. We had a delay in getting the vanity and counter top from the materials supplier, but Brian checked in every couple of days to let us know what was going on. The project altogether probably took about 10 days. To remodel a full bathroom. Yay! I highly recommend Two Ells. Their pricing for our projects was SUPER reasonable and Brian is a really good, honest guy. He had great communication with us throughout our projects. We had estimates from a couple of other contractors initially but we got the best feeling from Brian and knew he was the man for our job! We look forward to working more with him in the future! It disappoints me to see so many of the reviews for this business filtered because I'm sure they are legit. Brian deserves all of that praise for the quality work he does. Thanks Brian! Over the last 10 years or so Ivy Lea has sided my Daughters house, her MIL's house and windows and…read moresiding in my brothers house. Last fall they replaced the rubber roof over my Kitchen. While the roof was open they installed 6" of cellulose insulation over the12" of existing fiberglass. Happy to say the quality materials and professional workmanship are still there. Mark and the crew kept our house dry even with the unexpected rain during installation. I was happy to see how little ice I had on my roof with all the snow we had in North Evans this year. Mark and pleasant, courteous and did a great job cleaning up. I received multiple quotes to replace our roof and gutters on our house. Our appointment was…read morescheduled and Adam came out a few days after my request for the consultation. Out of all the companies that did show up ( 4 out of 5), Adam was the only estimator who actually went up on our roof and walked it to see how everything looked. Because of this, Adam's timeliness on coming out as well as getting a professional and itemized quote submitted to us and the reasonable cost, we chose to have Ava install our project. The contract was signed and job was scheduled within a week! The crew protected our house and did a great job stripping and installing new plywood, removed an old electrical service pipe that was no longer needed and reshingled our house in one day. They cleaned up the yard and left everything in great condition, which with our yard being wet and muddy, was a big hurdle! The gutter installers came a few days later and had our new gutters up in a few hours. They had their work cut out for them because it rained a great deal the days before so they were fighting mud as well. My house looks amazing with all of the improvements that Ava performed for us! I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done!

Unfortunately, I spent $30k for a new roof, including new sheeting, only to discover that they…read morewould use a really poor subcontractor to execute. Ava had to come back to fix the issues we (as homeowners) uncovered, like: -used finishing nails instead of roofing nails in high wind areas -not tarring over exposed nails -had rippling of shingles in the back of the house -ridge vent didn't get added to the full roof -broke a beam and originally used a 2x4 on one side, didn't even notify me that this happened. -didn't cut soffits where they were supposed to -put feet through our ceiling in 2 areas and I discovered it on my own They fixed all these things properly and quickly, but only after I called to explain the same sub contractors they sent back originally, didn't do a good job fixing some of them. So then I asked for their actual internal installers to come out and fix. When they did that (sent Billy), the craftsmanship was much better. Now, 4 months after installation, my brand new bathroom vents are blowing air back in and not as strong anymore. We discover it's because of the way they installed the the roof vents. The grates are pushing up against the opening so they can't open fully. I'm beyond frustrated that poor installation caused all these issues to appear! Although Ava has come out each time, if I was an uneducated home owner, I would not necessarily be able to find these issues and push to get them fixed. If you choose to use them, make sure it's not a subcontractor doing the work and that they are using their internal team.
