For the manicure, you can also get one with or without a massage, but I always like to recommend a massage as it is quite relaxing. If you have a reference idea for the nails that you want, you could always show it to them and talk through what they can do to achieve the look. I definitely recommend calling or booking online as they can sometimes get very busy and are not always able to accommodate walk-ins. With that being said if you are in the area, I do recommend just stopping in and seeing whether or not they have an opening if they do not then they will surely try to book you in for a time that works. They also have a stamp card for services over $50 so that is always a plus and perk for loyal customers.

My nail tech was very efficient, quick and gentle. She was able to clean up my cuticles without causing any redness or irritation. The colour I originally picked turned out to be lighter than the sample, and after doing one nail, she pointed it out to me and went and got another colour she recommended; I agreed and she went ahead with the new shade, and it turned out to be a perfect match for what I had originally wanted. I was happy she made the suggestion since I know some nail technicians just stay quiet and do what you've asked without question. The pricing is great, and the cheapest I've paid in a long time. It's two weeks passed and my nails are growing out great without any chips. One thing I noticed was that over at their pedicure section, the tubs all had plastic liners - I had read somewhere this is actually extremely hygienic and something that should be done more widely. I'm excited to have found a nice nail place in my area, since I've tried a few in the past that were either too expensive or didn't hold up. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.

She then told me that the $52 is for "classical mani and classical pedi" and they gave me shellac! That I did not ask for. (To clarify I do not go to nail salons often, and don't have a clear picture of which procedures do what and what they look like). Now I will know.. I then told the lady that this is frustrating as the classical mani and pedi is what I asked for in the beginning and she apologized. I didn't make an appointment and Kathy took me in despite how busy they were. She was quick but she did a fantastic job with the set! I was absolutely amazed. The second time was for a nail removal. I didn't catch the name of the guy but he was super nice. I will admit that nail removals aren't my favourite thing to do and he checked in every 5 minutes to make sure he wasn't attacking my nails. Third time, I also didn't catch their names but these ladies did a wonderful job on my gel set and pedicure! The only thing I would suggest for pedicure is to warn us about the towel being extremely hot before setting it on our legs. But overall, she did an amazing job and it's still looking real good after 3 weeks.
