All three of our children love going to the dentist because of her and her office. They run to the door, excited that they have their own smaller entrance, and then get excited for the activities she has provided while they wait for me to check in. They love the animal murals painted on the walls, and the matching stuffed animals that each have a set of teeth and a giant toothbrush so that children can practice brushing their teeth. There has never been much of a wait time in the waiting room. The assistants and hygienists all talk in low, soothing, voices and have pleasant personalities that could calm any anxious child....and I would know because 2 of my 3 are on the anxious side. The quality of care is unsurpassed. My third child had what my husband and I called a"chipmunk cheek" problem as a baby. He would put food in his mouth and then leave it there for hours. This resulted in some back molar teeth that looked like Swiss cheese and needed to have oral surgery to have caps put on. He was not quite two at the time, and still Dr. Tina did a beautiful job! Dr. Tina is straight forward and explains things. She shows pictures and lets you know why different procedures are or are not needed. She has always taken a little extra time with me and shown the most care for our children. It sounds funny to say about a dentist, but I feel that she really does love our children and wants the best for them. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

When we were called back I was surprised how large the space is with all the treatment rooms and bays. We were in the monkey room and so much attention to detail. They asked questions to get to know my daughter, and put on her fav show while we were waiting for the dentist to check over her teeth. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Dr. Kate Lambert specializes in this procedure and is very thorough in her initial consultation and exam. We spent an hour with her to determine whether or not a frenectomy would be medically necessary and I felt like all my questions were answered before following through with the next steps. She took the time to learn more about my concerns, did an oral exam, a functional assessment, took photos and videos to keep on file but also to use for a reference to discuss everything she noticed that was causing limitations. Tongue and lip ties are often misdiagnosed because most doctors are not trained to identify the more subtle classifications. Dr. Kate is educated is being able to identify all classes of tongue and lip ties, not just the obvious ones, and helps you understand your child's anatomy more in depth. The procedure itself uses a C02 laser which is up to date, quick and simple. It can be done the same day immediately following the exam if you choose to go forward with it. Afterwards you are shown recommended stretches to aid in your child's recovery and learn how to access the videos, should you need a reminder on how to perform them correctly. 2-3 follow up visits are included in the cost if you are paying out-of-pocket, which I greatly appreciated. The office and waiting area is decorated with kids in mind, so for those who are taking their toddlers and small children know they will be easily entertained by the clubhouse and toys! Staff is super friendly and readily available to answer any questions I have! Parking can be tricky on a busy day but other than that, no concerns!

I've spent over 10 years working as both a dental assistant and in dental management, and I can…read morehonestly say this was one of the most unacceptable experiences I have ever witnessed in a dental office. My son suffers from severe dental anxiety, and I made that abundantly clear to every member of the staff--from the front desk, to the hygienist, to Dr. Hodge. What should have been a simple procedure lasting less than an hour turned into well over two hours of unnecessary stress and trauma. During the procedure, my son repeatedly said he was having trouble breathing and was visibly distressed. Instead of stopping to assess the situation or reassure him, Dr. Hodge responded, "If you can yell, you can breathe." That level of dismissiveness toward an anxious child was completely unacceptable and immediately raised concerns about the care he was receiving. The X-rays showed small cavities on teeth #7 and #8, along with a natural gap between those teeth. By the end of the procedure, not only had his gums been cut, but the gap had been completely closed, leaving tooth #8 noticeably larger than #9. This is especially concerning considering he has already been referred to an orthodontist specifically for spacing issues. He walked into the office with a minor cavity and left with an altered smile that was never discussed or explained. The trauma didn't end there. As the dentist aggressively attempted to force floss between the teeth using a finishing strip, my son's gums bled excessively. There was blood throughout his mouth, and he was visibly uncomfortable. Then came the most disturbing part of the entire visit. After the procedure was complete, the dentist and assistant had already removed their gloves. My son asked for more water so he could rinse the blood from his mouth. The assistant then picked up the saliva ejector with her bare hands and proceeded as though she intended to place it back into my son's mouth, despite the active bleeding. As someone with extensive experience in dentistry, I was absolutely stunned. Basic infection control and cross-contamination protocols exist for a reason. This should never happen in any dental office. Even more alarming was that neither the assistant nor Dr. Hodge seemed to recognize this as a problem when it was brought to their attention. That lack of awareness is just as concerning as the act itself. I left this office angry, disgusted, and deeply disappointed. My child trusted this team to provide compassionate, competent care, and instead left traumatized. As a dental professional, I know exactly what I witnessed, and I know that it fell far below the standard of care and infection control that patients deserve. I would never recommend this office to anyone, especially parents of children with dental anxiety. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish.
