My kids have zero fight about going to the dentist. And they get all sorts of kid nonsense when they leave. Stickers, a little prize, sometimes a balloon. It's like going to the circus - and because of this, they associate the dentist with all good things. And they get to watch a kids movie on the ceiling while they get their cleaning! The staff are understanding of any weird quirks my kids might have and listen to me and talk to me like I'm part of my child's care team.

Everything went great Dr. Dodds and her staff were all very comforting to a very anxious little boy. A couple of days later her gum started swelling and they wouldn't schedule another appointment to check it, they just proscribed her an antibiotic. 4 days after that she woke up with a fever and her lips and face was swollen. They refused to help, even after her primary doctor said the infection absolutely could not wait because it could be very dangerous. I asked for a stronger antibiotic and they said she would be perfectly fine. I asked what they could do because she was in horrible pain, and she responded with "the only thing I can do is sympathize with you". As a mother I would NEVER take my children back to someone who does not care about their safety and health. I'm very thankful for the new dentist that we found. DO NOT take your children here.
