They helped him learn to talk more with wonderful songs, colors and shapes in Acorns, drink out of an open top cup, potty training & clean up after himself (lunch and toys) in Sprouts, learn all his letters, numbers, writing, follow direction, independence and more in Discovery and Koala classes. Each classroom has an appropriate teacher-student ratio with colorful, private rooms each with their own personality. And during the pandemic, they have kept each child and staff member safe with their rules to protect and keep the mask mandate since the kids are too young to vaccinate. Mrs. Waters and his pre-K teachers have supported our son in most his special ed needs by allowing his private therapists to come to the school. He gets SLP & OT sessions in per week while aligning with his teachers to work with his therapists which help him transition from therapy back to gym or class time. This has been such a big help to know he is getting many of his needs met. I have been taking my oldest son here for 2 and a half years and our youngest, who is now 6 months old, has been enrolled since 12 weeks. This center is beyond clean, BEYOND friendly and the teachers have taught my kiddos more than I ever could. They send me pictures, videos and potty updates all day long! During this COVID19 pandemic, this center was deemed essential. We are more than grateful and proud of the safety precautions they have taken to ensure our boys are safe and sound and HAPPY. If I can't have the boys home with me, there is no other place I would want them to be than in the care of these talented and loving individuals. To me, they are our family. If I could give this center a million stars, I would.

The misinformation and negativity on these review sites by various reviewers blows my mind…read moresometimes. This is the only daycare my daughter and son have been to in their entire lives. My daughter is 6 and my son is 4. The teachers at this KinderCare have taken care of them since they were about 6-8 weeks old and have done a great job. My kids love going here and look forward to going, and they are always in a good mood when I pick them up. The educational opportunities here are really great. Both my kids went through the phonics program which helped tremendously. They have done the cooking classes, the science classes, the music classes. There are so many. My kids have had a very stable group of teachers to work with at the facility. One thing that is so great is the public school bus at the nearby elementary school picks up and drops off at this KinderCare. Talk about convenient. And it is nice that my daughter rides the same school bus as the rest of the kids. The directors of this center have a tough job dealing with emotional parents and parents that are slow to pay their tuition for which they have to continually follow up with. We visited 4-5 daycare facilities before settling on this one. We also tried a nanny for a month before deciding that wasn't a fit for us. HANDS DOWN we are very happy we chose this KinderCare for our kids. Not all daycare centers are built the same, and this one is special with great people in it that will take good care of your child.

(If I'm being honest, we realized it day one but I waited 2 weeks before reaching back out to request re-enrollment!) The teachers at the Elk Grove location truly make my family feel loved, cared for, and they've essentially become an extension of our family. My daughter's current AND former teacher both babysit her outside of work hours and I'm so thankful that we have a loving school for my little one. Without a different perspective, it can be easy to take things for granted. For example, all of the outside activities, dress up days, arts and crafts and overall fun activities that bring our kids joy is NOT status quo at other Kindercare locations. Elk Grove is special and we couldn't feel more relieved or happier to have returned back! The principal, Mrs. Mitchell, is a firm and fair principal that knows how to run a school well. She addresses any problems with any student and makes sure they are performing as they should at school. All the teachers are well trained, patient, and experienced. Mrs. Olsen (3rd Grade) has helped my son immensely with his academics as well as shaping him to be a great student! Mrs. Morawski and Mrs. Pozezinski (Kindergarten) have taught my daughter quite a bit and she is a much smarter girl because of it! The school is well maintained and they teach the Roman Catholic faith quite thoroughly as well. I am very satisfied with St. Mary School and recommend to anyone who wants a quality education both academically and spiritually to enroll their children here. A+++

Right at School runs organized activities, has counselors that engage with the students and have never just given up trying to help children. If you have a choice, I highly recommend avoiding Christian Care.

Due to the pandemic, our child had not spent much time with anyone outside of family when we enrolled her in the infant room at 11 months old, and we did a lot of research and toured many different facilities. SCC stood out because of the lovely private playground and the school-like nature. We also loved that they have extra curricular activities like someone who comes in once a week for music class. They were in the mid-high range of prices, but the facilities exceeded the quality of others slightly lower in price and it felt more personal than some of the chain daycares. They also had part-time options which was ideal for us as we had grandparents helping out with some childcare. All of the SCC staff have been incredibly kind and communicative. Our child had some trouble adjusting the first few days, and they reached out to help brainstorm potential solutions with us. Within a week or two, she was leaping out of my arms at drop-off and not looking back. With current covid restrictions we aren't allowed in the classroom, but the teachers are very responsive through the app and send photo and video updates during the day. Some other facilities had a constant video feed you could log into, but I prefer this situation as I feel like it's a much nicer work environment for the staff (and I don't have to be tempted to continually check in on her). The administrators are also very involved in the classroom and frequently have nice anecdotes about her to share. Our daughter is always in a happy mood when we pick her up, and the older kids we see coming out seem to love school as well. Her teachers celebrate her cute moments and her skill accomplishments, and we trust she is well taken of. We would highly recommend this place!
