What a mistake! I traveled 40min to pick up my hearing aid,…read morein their Leesburg office, that was out for repair. After several questions about why I was there with verification after verification the person at the front desk finally went to the back to retrieve my hearing aid. It took two of them to find it. When I tried it on it didn't work. It wasn't communicating with the app on my phone. I asked for help and was told the person in the back would help with this problem. Do I took a chair in the waiting room. Someone tried to enter the office but it was locked. They knocked and I informed the person I saw earlier. She mentioned they were closed for lunch. I thought nothing of it because I was already in the waiting room and they were supposed to help me. 40minutes later I called for an update on my request for help only to be informed that they were closed for lunch and the doctor was out. I objected stating that I have been waiting for 40min for someone to help. They said it was lunch, nobody was asked to help and the doctor is out. Things got heated and I left without getting any help. On my way out the door there was a box left in the doorway which I tapped inside. The rude person at the front desk yelled "Don't kick our box. It's someone's hearing aid." To be clear ,I never kicked the box. I just tapped it inside the doorway so I could close the door behind me. If I can't fix the communication issue with the app on my own I will get help online with the manufacturer. I will never return to Family Hearing Services and I encourage everyone else to avoid this establishment.

My internest recommended Audiology Associates, specifically Dr. Melissa Segev. Her reputation was stellar from a number of physicians that I interviewed in the Annapolis community, as well as several hearing aide users. I knew that I was in very capable care from the hearing test on. Two PhD audiologists supervised the 50+ minute exam, and carefully related the degree of deterioration in each ear. Dr. Segev then fitted me with the latest technology, yet not the most expensive. In my case "good" was actually great! Dr. Segev and her staff embody what a patient needs when making an investment in technology....she and her associates are knowledgable, competent, caring and easy to work with. Pardon the pun, but they "listen". After the initial purchase Dr. Segev made several adjustments as the brain has become sensitized to frequencies that it has not heard for years. Last Saturday my wife and I attended the Symphony, and for the first time in 50+ years I was able to hear each instrument, high and low pitch, clearly and with "round sound". Technology and Dr. Segev have restored what was taken from year when I was just 17 years old...my family and I both thank you!

He is one of the authorized providers for Tru Hearing, and that's what brought us to him. But we keep going back because he's an excellent communicator. He takes a lot of time to explain things to my mother. I never feel like we're rushed out. It's also easy to make an appointment to see him, and he'll text you to let you know when your hearing aides are ready.

My Doctor Bao Nguyen is the best doctor. I challenge anyone to tell me that their doctor is better…read morethan mine. Dr. Nguyen's listens to your every concern. No matter how far fetched it might be. He takes in concerns from head to toe. He is not one of those doctors who say I can only check one thing at a time. He is friendly, funny and very caring. He checks you out throughly. After finishing he prints out all referrals you need and gives you a summary of everything we went over. This doctor is extraordinary. If you ever visit him you will see what I'm talking about. The staff is awesome also. When ever I call them they answer with 5 minutes. You never have to be caller#20 and you never had to wait 50 minutes or more like other offices. The staff is so friendly and personable. Going to this office is a joy.
