I clearly told them upfront that it was a low-cost device and that I only wanted the repair done if it could be fixed for around $50. Later, they called and quoted $250 for the repair, which I declined. When I picked up the laptop and got home, I opened it and discovered that the RAM and hard drive were missing, and multiple internal components had been disconnected. I called the shop, and they said they had "forgotten" to return the parts. When I went back, they gave me a hard drive that was not mine and a damaged/burnt RAM module.
