At first, I was hesitant but decided to take the chance. I met the store's owner (Angel) and he troubleshooted my computer which he thoroughly went over the issues with me. One of the several things that impressed me was how Angel does one to one service for all his customers and the appointments are set up to be very user friendly via emails and texts. When I picked up my computer, he tested it in front of me to confirm that the problem was solved, and that the computer was running fine. My overall experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this store. Angel was very professional, transparent and his experience shows through his work. The prices are great, and the customer service is outstanding. I am a very satisfied customer and will not go anywhere else. Bummed out could not accurately express how I was feeling when my laptop kept crashing. The mere thought of spending time away from my baby was disturbing me, so you can imagine how I felt when I went to my PC specialist and they were closed. With a non working laptop in my book bag and nowhere to go, I trekked down Bird Road, pretty much hoping to see anything related to computer repairs. Luckily, I pretty soon located the words *PC 911*. Under it, exactly was I was hoping to see, a blue neon "OPEN" sign. I parked and walked in. Behind a wooden counter and surrounded by computer towers, a man dressed in uniform and who refused to take his eyes off a computer screen acknowledged me with a rather bizarre line "Hi, PC 911 Computer Services, how may I help you?". I briefly explained my problem. The man got up, turned the laptop on and patiently waited for it to boot. "Are you the doctor?", I asked. He looked at me over his glasses and said "Yes". The PC Doctor is a cool guy. He looked at my computer (I felt he was looking at it somewhat lusciously) and assured me that everything was going to be OK. He asked me a couple of questions, put the computer aside and he issued his prescription: a work order. "Your laptop is in safe hands", he said. I was glad to have been driving around that area. I got to PC 911 after 5:00 pm on a Saturday. Only the big boys at Best Buy or Tiger Direct can help you on a Saturday night, at the price of $100 to $150 for a diagnostic. That obviously doesn't include the repair and/or the parts. Ouch. The cost at PC 911: zero dollars, the PC Doctor gives out free estimates. The repair for my baby set me back $40. That was for the repair plus a tune up and an anti-virus scan. More importantly, my laptop is back in working order, and the job is guaranteed from defects. If the computer crashes again, which I doubt, I'll just pop up at PC 911 for another remedy. The PC Doctor is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm. For people who work 9 to 5, those are great hours. Add to that free estimates, and the doctor is in the house. And his name is Angel. read more

PC 911 helped me once in the past, in repairing a laptop. They had given me an estimate for the repair of about $130-$180, and I was a little disappointed that they ended up charging me the full $180, but overall I was satisfied that my laptop had been repaired. Unfortunately, more recently, I called about a laptop repair about 2 weeks ago, spoke with Angel, and he quoted me $80, after my describing the issue over the phone. I called again today to go ahead with that repair, and this time he quoted me $129 for the same repair (though he still had his notes about his $80 quote from our prior call). It's their prerogative to give quotes and then try to jack them up, on prior customers no less, but I surely do not conduct my business in this manner, and so will not be patronizing this establishment in the future. read more

I have brought a computer and a memory card here and both times they were quickly able to fix my issues at a reasonable price. My old Mac would not even turn on and I am not sure what they did but it has now been up and running for months without any issues. I recently was transferring priceless photos from my memory card to my laptop and suddenly they disappeared. A years worth of family photos gone. I bought a new phone and was walking my dogs one day before leaving to Ft. Myers and my phone fell right on the concrete. Sure enough, the screen was shattered. I started to search around and call different places. They quoted me $110. I decided to wait it out and continue searching. A couple days later I noticed that they had given me the best price and the phone would be ready in 3-5 days vs. what other places offered. (One place quoted me $150 and the front of my phone won't even match the color of the back. They were on crack.) I took my Motorola to get repaired and everything was great. They honored the Yelp promo for a free tempered glass. It was supposed to be ready in 3-5 days like they promised. I went to dinner with my hubby in the area the same day and they call me and tell me that due to the vendor, the screen would take longer than promised to arrive. The latest: 10 days. I was a bit upset because they did promise me 3-5 days, but Steve was very nice about it and apologetic. The phone was ready in 8 days after all and looks amazing. I'm happy with it. However, my hubby wanted to get his sim card cut and they quoted him $5 when Best Buy does it for free of charge if the phone was purchased there. So, he went to Best Buy instead. read more

Tried this place because of the reviews and I needed help with a laptop. I took it on a Wednesday and told me they will give me an answer and an estimate once they troubleshoot the problem with the touchpad. I had to call them on Friday and they had no definite answer on what was going on. On Monday, they finally called and told me that they needed to change the complete touchpad but no new parts were available and had to order a used part that will take a week to arrive. After almost 2 weeks, I had to pick the laptop because I needed it urgently for work. The part ordered did not fix the problem, the person that gave me my laptop had obviously no idea what was going on and there was no tech available to explain to me exactly and clearly what was wrong with it. They charged me for a "new" headset jack and when I picked up the phone it was a filthy old jack from another phone. I paid $39.99 plus tax for a used old jack. I wouldn't have cared if they would of told me that it was used before. They then said an old used jack was "accidentally" put on. Really? They offered to fix it which required me to wait around longer which I couldn't wait so they offered me to come back within 30 Days to put a brand new jack on. I lost everything in hurricane Matthew four years ago while I was living in Virginia. My laptop had happened to be on the closet floor and got completely soaked with water and I had thought it was destroyed. I had been saving it to attempt to bring to someone who could fix it. I brought it to PC 911 computer and cell phone repair and they were able to successfully recover my hard drive components and save 10 years worth of pictures that I would've otherwise not had including my high school and college graduations and several family photos many with family members who are now deceased. I cannot thank them enough for taking on such a difficult challenge. My hard drive was completely eroded and calcified and I had a little hope that anything would be recovered. I am so grateful for their dedication, patience, and willingness to fix this for me. It really means a lot. I will be happily going through my photos this evening remembering all the good times. I also feel I was charged a reasonable price. They said it would only be $40 if they could not recover my data. I said it was the motherboard problem when I dropped my laptop to them. They said estimated repair time is 1-2 days and repair will be completed in 3-5 days. But they took 5 days for diagnostic, and told me that they can fix it. After another 5 days, they told me it cannot be fixed. After my double check after I picked up my laptop. I found that their technician lost 3 of my screws and broke some parts inside. By the way, their tech said there was some paste that was left by the former tech, and I doubt that. I didn't see it before I drop my laptop to their store. When I tried to contact them to solve this problem.They don't take responsibilities and try to blame me that I didn't find that when I picked up my laptop. No apologies, no compensations. The only thing they would like to do is offering me some screw replacement without affording my Uber cost. Worst experience ever. Do not come here if you want to get good laptop repair services. They made things worse and still charged me $29 so-called "no-repair fee". I think everyone can make money by starting a repair shop and only charge "no-repair fee" without doing anything read more
