Lots of reasons -- they are friendly! I'm always greeted BY NAME and with a smile. Even when I call the office, they know who I am. They remember little things about me - like that I'm a Cards Fan, or that I was about to go on vacation when I visited last. They ask about my job or my partner -- you feel like family when you're there! The appointments feel very organic. They truly care about the client sitting in the chair. The cleanings are great. We chat the whole time, but they do have TV's in each area for the recluse or child. They communicate what's going on during any cleaning or procedures and even let you choose your toothpaste flavor. When you're all finished, they'll send you out the door with a great little goodie bag. When your appointment is coming up you'll get lots of reminders -- emails, phone call, texts, even a postcard. (If you bring the postcard to your visit, you'll be entered into a drawing -- for a tooth whitening package I believe.). I always seem to forget mine :( I've referred friends with no dental insurance in the past -- they've worked with them and really helped to make cleanings affordable. I've been going here for ten years and have no reason to switch. The dentist is great (Dr. Bell). Even better is the rest of the staff. Not that anyone is better than the dentist, it's just that, in regard to routine and preventative cleanings that take up most of the time, it is other staff members who I interact with more. The staff is so friendly, from check-in to check-out. I enjoy continuing conversations from one visit to the next. The atmosphere is so relaxed and down-to-earth that I forget I'm in the dental office and start to feel as if we are all around a table with pizza and some drinks (no sugary candy, though).

The Absolute rudeness and ridiculous encounter with the receptionist ever at their Jeffersonville Indiana location! I had an appointment, do to a Failure of a Crown I had done here in the summer of 2022! After completing my paperwork, I walked up to the receptionist at the counter. She looked over my paperwork and said who is your Dental Insurance now. I said my HR advised all I need to do is give you my SS# and you all can find it that way. She "Very Rudely" responded, in a ridiculous aggressive voice and tone, "that is not how it works here". Your HR lady doesn't work here. She offered no assistance in finding out who my insurance is or advice how to find out. I then said, why do I have to pay anyway, because of a failure of a procedure I had done here. I said where your crown I got here came off. She rudely interrupted and said it was over 5 years ago. I then showed her one I had from another dentist office and said it was done over 17 years ago. She advised my Crown was No Longer under Warranty. So they do not stand by their work, scary. I said actually I had it done ONLY 3yrs 5 months ago. She literally rolled her eyes and said whatever. She then said you will have to pay cash for the checkup and exam then since you do not know your dental insurance company. I said I just need my tooth glued back on. Nothing else, no other work I'm not paying cash for a failure of my crown due to this dentistry, thank you, I'm good. She replies Good, Great, See ya! Very Rudely! Wow, what an AWFUL EXPERIENCE. My appointment was at 9:30 a.m., and I got there at 9:21 because I wanted to make sure I was on time. The door was locked even though the sign says they open at 9:00. A lady with jet-black hair and a bad tan (I think her name is Dana) opened the door, said, "We open at 9:30," then shut the door in my face. Since I live close by, I went back home and came back at 9:39. Then they told me I had to reschedule because of the 10-minute grace period. Make that make sense. I showed up early, couldn't get in because your door was locked, and somehow I'm the one who gets punished? This isn't even the first time they've treated me like this. There have been other situations where I felt disrespected, but I let them slide.They get mad if you're late, but apparently they don't want you there early either. I told them I wasn't rescheduling. The billing office has been less than helpful, to the point of harassment. I have received 8 texts in 23 days for payment. This is an eye opening experience. I owe 50 dollars and they act like it's thousands of dollars. This dentist must really be hard up for money to send that many notices for payment in the course of three weeks. If they are willing to go this far for a cleaning, I can only imagine what they will do for a real dental service. I wonder if the dentists they are working for see the hatred they are conveying to their clientele. Think hard about going to this dentist. A very unpleasant experience. Dr. Becker was soooo incredibly thorough and intentional about placement/amount used/etc. Typically, I feel like most places go in blind and just guestimate where to inject. He took the time to find and mark each muscle in my forehead, discuss why he suggested which amounts for each spot, and told me the total number of units before proceding with treatment. My first day they took my card and did my exam at which time they printed out what the insurance would pay and my portion for a tooth extraction and a crown which I paid $558.00 and I heard the two associates discussing it and one told the other that that is his share and what the insurance doesn't cover we will write it off. Came back for the second visit and they did the extraction and the crown. Came back for the third visit for the follow-up exam and everything was fine. About 30 days later I received an invoice in the mail for over $2000.00 which I was in SHOCK! I called Advance Dental on Preston Highway and asked why I was being billed for this and the said it came back from the insurance that they were not in network. They would not do anything and it got sent to collections. DO NOT GO TO ADVANCE DENTAL ON PRESTON HIGHWAY!!!!!

My wife just got new dentures at this office and the upper…read moredenture doesn't fit and hasn't from the beginning and I took her for follow up appointment today 9 days since we picked up the dentures to take to oral surgeon and the upper denture is WAY to loose wouldn't stay in her mouth at the oral surgeons office and has never fit and my wife was told today at follow up visit to use fixodent instead of them doing a hard reline of the upper denture which is what needs to be done because it wasnt made right from the beginning and when I confronted them about fixing my wife's upper denture properly with a hard reline the rude people at Affordable dentures told me to leave or they would call the police. Now i have to take my wife to another dentist and pay to have her NEW upper denture relined. So Stay away from this place you have been warned!
