Even though I was told to expect a 2hour visit an hour and a half, full x-rays, gum measurements and exam I was told that the hygienist would get some of the tartar off and when she came to get started, was informed that she didn't have time and wanted me to come back lol later that afternoon. I was already mad and visibly upset. I decided at that point that I didn't want to be there any longer. But driving away realized I needed my glasses. Going back for them I was greeted by the office Nazi who told me I was dismissed from the practice. Which is stupid considering I just released myself from their care.b This office didn't care about me. Didn't care about my mental state. Although the dentist was nice she also told the tartar removal would begin when she didn't know that the hygienist was overbooked. If my appointment was for 10am and I was supposed to plan on 2hrs and I was out of there by 1130... Then they had 30 more minutes of my time to use to start said cleaning. Nope... Don't go here. They didn't communicate amongst themselves and didn't consider my anxiety at the situation. When I left the office initially right after being told no cleaning, I should Not have gone back to give them a chance.

He then stated that that was just a "shadow" and that I have no cavities. Which was already hard to believe cause I was not taking good care of my teeth and was going there to begin my journey to restore my smile health. I did question this diagnosis of a "shadow" and he told me yes there is no cavity there even though, I could see it with my own eyes not even needing an x-ray. Flash forward to 2025 and I was having extreme pain in that tooth so we went back and he then said the tooth would need a root canal and crown. How could that be if there "was no cavity" in the first place so we began that process. the Dr said he could complete the procedure but when it was all said and done turns out he never even finished cleaning the root out!! AND sealed a massive infection in my tooth with a crown!!!! All because the root was curved and his tools couldn't handle cleaning it out properly without breaking my tooth root stating "that's as far as we can go" not "OK the tooth is all cleaned out". Instead of referring me out he went ahead and did the procedure and took our money happily since we were paying out of pocket. Then I was left with a horribly fitting crown destroying my bite and opposing teeth, and the crown was so cheap that when I had to go somewhere else to have the tooth actually cleaned and a proper root canal done the other dentist said that when he drilled through the tooth the crown was flaking away like a piece of plastic and, inside the tooth itself, they opened it and the first thing they said was "wow". I had 2 other fillings placed in this office on cavities they also "missed" during that cleaning as they couldn't have formed in a bit under 2 years by the son that was struggling so bad to reach the teeth that those two fillings had me there for about 3 hours and then ultimately a few days later turned into abscessed infections and needed root canals also. The office finance guy was not willing to refund us the money that we asked for because we didn't pay for the 2 fillings yet that ended up infected so he would give us what was left over after he took the money out for those and that they would replace the crown for free. Why would I want cheap crown in MY mouth. I WILL NEVER LET THESE PEOPLE COME NEAR MY MOUTH AGAIN. I would never send my friends, neighbors, or loved one to them. Do NOT go here as it seems they no longer have any idea what they are doing in there.

If you lose a tooth, your mouth can shift and after years it was taking its toll. At the age of 63, I found myself at the Perkasie office with Dr. Meyrowitz aka Dr. Sam. My teeth look amazing! I no longer hide my mouth and I once again smile in pictures. Dr. Sam is an excellent orthodontist who turned my mouth around to what it is today. He was friendly, very kind and took the time to answer any questions I had. The whole office, Dr. Sam and his team are friendly, kind, knowledgeable and honestly, they are fun. They work so well together. I enjoyed going in for my visits. Which face it, you see your orthodontist office often for a year or two, you want that! I thank you Dr. Sam, I thank you front desk and the team in the back who were so gentle! You have made my journey easy. I will honestly miss seeing you!

Overall, not impressed so far…read more I was a new client and scheduled a consultation for a retainer. I got to the appointment on time and was seen about 20-25 minutes late. They took a different customer before me who had accidentally shown up for the appointment on the wrong date- they were not scheduled, I was, yet I waited. Not a great first impression. Moving on- I end up ordering a retainer and got it in about 2 weeks. I opted for the more expensive wire one as it had a longer lifespan. It broke within the first week of me having it. I believe it will be replaced for free, but doesn't seem like good quality. Lastly (so far) two months had passed and I noticed that no insurance claim was filed. I contacted the office and they informed me that they would look into it and call me back that day or the next day. They never called me back, so the following week I called again and they informed me that while my appointment was scheduled late in May, "they didn't get around to filling the claim until mid July". They didn't have 10 minutes for the past two months to file my insurance claim??? I will say they are all very pleasant. If only they were more diligent in their customer service.

Shortly after she refilled a deep cavity (one that she took a film x-ray of, not digital), I developed a significant infection while on vacation, necessitating an emergency root canal. Most likely, the infection went undiagnosed since I was in the office mere weeks before this occurred. The cost of the crown was outrageous (surprising for an office that is not paying for the most up to date technology) and my dental insurance was not great, so I looked for trusted dentists that could offer better rates on the crown. Upon learning this, the doctor shared her frustration with my choice to find more affordable options, rather than offering to work with me on price. Her root canal procedure ultimately failed, resulting in a tooth extraction. My insurance instructed me to check with the doctor to see if there was any chance in having a portion of the costs returned for the failed service. I was met with unresponsiveness and an unwillingness to consider any sort of refund. I wish I would have been treated with a bit more civility in trying to determine the best and most affordable care. My bad situation was made even worse by poor bedside manner and an unwillingness to meet me where I was.

The doctor was nice, but didn't seem very confident on the treatment she was telling me I needed. They have zero technology in this office, they still take the old X-rays to. I seemed to know more about my insurance and the treatment then the office manager, she was very dismissive and didn't even let me finish sentences. In all not a very put together office and seems that the office and staff are stuck in a time when the customer/patient didn't matter. There's a dentist on every corner,I would suggest choosing another one I know I did.
