Advanced Dental Solution in Lynnwood is highly recommended by me. Dr. Son Nguyen and his staff were fantastic. They are very friendly and helpful. I had a routine teeth cleaning and it was great. I am so happy that I finally found a great dental clinic that I can trust! I say this because one month ago I went to Bellevue Dental Care and had an awful experience. The dentist at Bellevue Dental Care kept me waiting for so long so I only got time to take X rays and gum measurements. They scheduled me for next time and gave me an treatment plan with huge fees on it. I compared my treatment plan with my husband's, who came there 3 month before me, and found they charged me for different fees on same treatment (same code). The 2 surface filling code D2392 for me is 270$ and for my husband was $183. With the insurance covers the same amount, still my husband had to pay $64.6 out of the pocket and $270 for me. Sure they might increased the price within 3 months. but by 250%?????? I have asked my friend who is a dental student, he said although the fees might depend on the clinic but fees for the same code is the same. So, it's not quite make sense why they charge me and my husband different fees for same treatment. Also, I had to say I have a pretty good insurance. but the whole treatment D4342+D4341+D2393+D2392 will cost me few hundreds out of my pocket when my insurance already covers $500. Most important part is, the dentist at Bellevue Dental Care said I have 2 cavities (2s and 3s) and I need gum treatment. I was not happy about the fees so I told them I only want a routine teeth cleaning and I will fix my cavities some place else. They rejected me by saying the insurance carrier will not pay my teeth cleaning without I do a gum treatment first. True or not, I was very upset and refused to go back. Good thing I didn't go back and I found Advanced Dental Solutions. Turned out ***I don't have any cavities****, and my gum infection is not serious enough to get any treatment. I have a great experience at Advanced Dental Solutions and it didn't cost me a dime! My insurance covered all. Despite the unreasonable fees, it's not just unethical but outrageous for Bellevue Dental Care to say I have cavities and tried to make me do the filling! If I really went back and followed the treatment plan, would they drill my perfectly healthy tooth and fill it up? just for they could charge me for that? Hope no one get scammed (almost) like me, the experience at Bellevue Dental Care was making me very disappointed at dental office's ethicalness. But now I am very happy I have a great dentist and I will definitely become a regular patient at Advanced Dental Solutions :) read more

I am so happy I found Dr Son, and his staff at Advanced Dental Solutions. Ok, so I never ever write reviews for anything...... but, I was blown away by the difference in service between dentists in the area..... Before finding Dr Son, at Advanced Dental Solutions, I went to two other dentists in the area..... Dr Gail Kautzman, and also Gentle Dentle...... I needed a root canal and a crown.... I had dental insurance, but due to a 12 month waiting period, I couldn't get anything covered...... Both the other offices were extremely shady.... and more interested in getting paid than having any concern for my hurting tooth and my needs..... both the other dentist offices pretty much acted like they were way to busy to help me...... trying to charge me for covered exams etc, then telling me they couldn't get me in for the actual treatment for a week, and also quoted me very high rates without making any effort to help me with the cost. Then I found Advanced Dental Solutions. :-) From the second I called the office and explained what problems I was having, they took care of me completely. They went on and above to get me the lowest cost, but without compromising an inch of service. Dr Son and his staff are fantastic...... root canal, crown, ... I never felt a thing.... he is a top notch dentist.... not only are his dental skills top notch, but his "bedside manner" is great. It was nothing like "pulling teeth" lol. Half a root canal after I walked into this place and they are blowing up my text inbox! "Come back in we need to finish! You have bad eeenfection" I didnt want to pay 1200 for a root canal so I kept telling them "No, and stop texting me! I'm not going to be with this company for long and I don't like the dentist that leaves me having to work with HALF a root canal!" That should be covered first off BEFORE you're stuck with a mess in your mouth! They tell me I have already paid for the build up, please let them at least finish" so I do... After they assure me I owe and will be charged NO MORE and that they could get it done BEFORE I left my company and the insurance was up. TWO YEARS later they send me a bill $137 !!!! Saying "your insurance didn't cover this portion" REALLY!!!? TEO YEARS LATER? DUHHHHya think!? Run as fast as you can from this place! The reviews a lot of people are leaving are paid friends of the employees, (one of the nurses told me how dirty this couple is to the patients) so enter this shack at your own risk. I recently purchased a groupon for dental exam, cleaning, and x-rays for $39. Since I do not have dental insurance, I thought this was a wonderful deal. I went in expecting to have the cleaning done and getting an estimate for any additional treatment. After the exam and cleaning, I was told I had no serious issues, but Dr. Son Nguyen recommended I replace my 30 year old amalgam fillings (something I had been told 8 years earlier needed to be done). He took the time to explain each and every recommendation. I was so impressed with his bedside manner and approach, that I decided to go forward with the extensive dental work that I'd put off for years. I am hyper sensitive to any type of procedures with my teeth. Dr. Nguyen was extremely understanding, patient, and calming during each of the visits, as was his staff. My teeth look amazing. I am not the type of person that writes reviews, but I had to take the time to give this Dentist 5 Stars! I wish there were more dental/medical professionals that treat their patients with such kindness and understanding. read more

Went to get to get my braces off, after dealing with a previous horrible orthodontist and just loved this place. The staff was all so friendly! The head Orthodentist Ms. Nuygen came and talked to me specifically, checked up on my status and came to the conclusion I was ready to remove my braces. To my surprise, not only did she understand my financial situation and gave me a discount but also got it my braces off right away. I never expected I would get my braces off the day that I walked in for a consultation. She also did most of the work herself while attending herself to other patients. She is also good at letting the people in the waiting room how long they might need to wait. Everyone there was so bright, happy and friendly. I do not regret coming here and am very happy I did. They accommodate everyone so well with a good approach. read more

Dentist was nice but the staff had a bad service. what kine of manager there. I don't know how she get the job, doesn't know how to deal and make patient want to come back for a long term. My appointment was on Friday and the reception call to confirm on Thursday and I said I can make it but they call back 2 days later and said I been charged for $85 dollar for no show. I said i did confirm that I cant make it to that appt. And they were told me that no one there receive it. To me their sound like try to make money out of this. I know lots of vietnamese people were looking for Vietnamese dentist close here rather than Seattle but too bad no more, and don't want to come back again. shame to that manager. read more

Today was my first appointment at Advanced Dental Solutions. I went there for a check-up and cleaning. Scheduling an appointment was easy and the employees were very patient with picking the right date for me. I was welcomed in and surrounded my a lots of attention, everyone was very knowledgeable of their job. The dental assistant took her time to do everything correctly and carefully, she was also incredibly friendly and nice to talk to which created a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. When Dr. Son thoroughly answered all of my questions and concerns and did some great recommendation on how to keep my teeth healthy. I seen Dr. Son Nguyen today for my routine exam and cleaning. The office is extremely clean and the staff is great. I knew that I was going to need some fillings as well as a couple other things done and by the end of my visit they already had the cost of how much everything was going to be, what my insurance would cover, as well as what my out of pocket expenses will be. This is a new office so they have great availability. I can only go in on Saturdays because of my work schedule and they were able to get me in the same week I called to schedule my exam, as well as schedule my next appointments for the next couple Saturdays. read more

This office and the staff were all amazing! I tend to get nervous about dental work but they made me feel really at ease and we were all joking by the end. I even used a groupon and didn't feel like they thought I was wasting their time or to upsell me. I think I found my dentist for life! Seriously, go see Dr. Son and ask for Lacey to be the assistant! Lacey was so reassuring and careful. I loved that she was asking Dr. Son questions about teeth while I was getting work done, because it showed that Dr. Son really cares about his staff and he seems to enjoy educating. We have no dental insurance, but ADS was very reasonable and remained committed to the estimated cost that was quoted at the initial consultation. All of my son's previous dental treatments were conducted overseas and though competent, that provider was not able to give the high level of comfort, expertise and professionalism that ADS' very friendly, competent staff recently performed. Dr. Son is the most caring doctor, he made me completely comfortable on my recent visit. I was very nervous at first but he knew how to approach me. Even though I have several issues in my mouth and I don't have dental insurance, he worked with my budget to start getting those issues fixed ASAP. This practice is very clean and organized. Very professional, intelligent and warm staff members. Dr. Son was great at answering all my questions and he didn't seem rushed during my appointment. I was very impressed with their technology. I loved being able to view my radiographs on a TV screen facing my chair. They also make it extremely easy for people who do not have dental insurance to still get cleanings and dental work done. What an awesome Dentist and staff!! Dr.Son was the first dentist that I have met in a long time that made me feel comfortable. Not only was his work amazing but he was also affordable and was willing to work with me since I don't have insurance.
