Two years ago I went to Dr. Bassichis after Moh's surgery . The office rescheduled my appt a couple of times which I thought strange. I ended up going the day before "spring break" and I didn't have my surgery until at least 6:30 that evening. When I asked the nurse what was taking so long she said that he was trying to get all his surgeries in that day so he could leave for spring break the next day. Wow-my face showed it! I have a big scar right down the middle of my nose and it looks like my nose was broken-and this is two years later. I still get so upset when I look at it in the mirror. I went in for a few injections afterward as injections supposedly helped but not in my case. It looks like he let a rookie intern stitch up my nose. I would never recommend him to anyone. read more

Dr. Bassichis is a gifted surgeon. Prior to my procedure he answered all my questions. I had done a lot of research prior to my visit so I didn't have too many questions. On the day of surgery I was nervous and Dr B was warm and compassionate. I found his confidence very reassuring. The entire experience at the Plano location was positive. Surgery can be rugged and painful in some cases which is scary that first week post-op. His staff was always available to answer questions and/or concerns. Throughout my recovery and follow-up, Dr Bassichis and his nursing staff are always prepared prior to my visits. His nursing staff is encouraging and pleasant, which is important, especially immediately post-op. This Doctor is so cocky, unkind, not sympathetic and his ego it out of this world. His smile and charm can't even cover his ugly bedside manners. I got a nose job 7 years ago with him. I had always been so insecure with my nose, so I saved up and went to him. He was voted best plastic surgeon in Dallas in the Dallas Magazine, but I SWEAR he paid for that title. There is NO WAY that he is the best. He removed the bump on my nose, but did nothing else. My nose is still so big and is so prominent on my face. I swear at times it looks bigger than it did before I had the surgery. He didn't take the time to make my nose smaller and match my face more. I gave him two starts because of his staff. Where shall I begin? I ABSOLUTELY Dr. Bassichis. I was referred to him for a Mohs procedure in Nov 2023 - he did an AMAZING job on a skin graft on my nose. I returned to have another Mohs procedure on my face in February 2024. I had a septorhinoplasty performed and could not be happier with the results and the entire process along the way!! First, his team, starting with Julie, his surgical coordinator, was extremely kind and accommodating. They were more than flexible with timing, patient with all questions, and helpful with all the scheduling, insurance, etc. They make an effort to make it as easy as possible to see Dr. Bassichis and that everything works well for both him and the patient. They checked in before and after the surgery, sent reminders before the surgery, and answered all post-op questions without hesitancy. Dr. Bassichis is an exceptional surgeon and physician, to the say the least. During our first visit, he answered all my questions to the fullest and ultimately exceeded all expectations I had for the surgery. The process of having the surgery was a breeze too, no stress whatsoever, and he was very informative when updating my family/SO at the surgery's end. His entire surgical team was very kind including his anesthesiologist. It is especially comforting to hear everyone have extremely positive things to say about Dr. Bassichis. Following the surgery, he checked in on me more than once to ensure I was doing okay before heading home for recovery. Went to see Dr. B to get Botox. I had another physician do it and I had a bad headache for 3 weeks. I wanted to try maybe less Botox or not using the saline with preservatives. After I explained this to him, he said let me do the exact Botox and I don't believe you'll get a headache. I didn't and I look good. Go back two weeks for touch up. He also has a Hepa air filtration in each office and was very safe with face shield on. Highly recommend!! I also was given some Arnica pills for bruising. read more

Years ago this was one of the better places for plastic surgery and non surgical procedures. Dr B is excellent in my opinion. However, with exception of Mallory (sp), the other front office staff that answer the phones are continually extremely rude disrespectful and hostile to both me and a friend of mine who is also a patient. We are met w/ extremely long hold times, phones are answered rudely with no first names, promised return phone calls go unreturned. When I've asked about a product or important procedure information, I'm met with either hostility that I'm putting them out, or they refuse to give you information by saying they are too busy and will call you back, with no return phone call. I once was told to get information from the website, which actually had zero information on procedure, when I called back I was met with anger and told someone would get back to me. Again no return home call. Answering the phone in an unprofessional manner, not announcing their names and have a tone is not only extremely disrespectful insulting and uninviting, but it makes the practice appear shoddy, unclassy and extremely unprofessional. Both of us have called on multiple occasions to make a followup appointments with Dr B or with an aesthetician. Unless it's Mallory, we are met with snippy angry front office women who refuse to give you their name, and act like you are nuisance for even calling the office. Really?? They are not appreciative or kind to the people calling in to bring business and money to Dr B's practice. They fail to realize that without patient customers, they don't get paid! People hired representing Dr B's practice should answer the phones and make appointments professionally and in a kind appreciative and courteous manner at ALL times as they are front facing to the public and develop the reputation for Dr B's practice. If Dr B knew the extent of what goes on behind his back from his front office staff, I believe he would be appalled and shocked of how his front staff is dealing with the public. I'm sure they would be fired immediately. These women are so awful that we have decided to take our business elsewhere. At some point it will unfortunately catch up to Dr B. Until then, there are too many excellent plastic surgeons with excellent professional coast practices available to choose from in a huge city like Dallas. We are very fortunate to have many excellent surgeons and practices in this big city. read more

I have been going to Dr. Bassichis for the past few years for Botox injections and sometimes fillers and his work has always been excellent and consistent. As you could imagine, I was extremely nervous about the possibility of surgery on my face! It was a huge decision and expense for me. I already knew Dr. Bassichis is a highly regarded and sought out facial surgeon, however, when selecting a surgeon, it was also very important for me to feel well taken care of throughout the entire surgery process and afterwards - that I would be in "good hands". Was it possible to find the best facial plastic surgeon who also runs a thriving and growing practice (good sign) and is able to provide caring, personal attention to his/her patients? Yes, it is possible! Dr. Bassichis is that and more! Even though his office is full of patients he always took the extra time to listen to my concerns and patiently answering all of my questions (for the past two years), as I went back and forth wrestling with the idea of "going under the knife". During our conversations, he was professional and thorough with his explanations of the various procedure options and extremely patient. He never pushed his opinions on me and made me feel secure, safe and comfortable with my ultimate decision to proceed with surgery. He was encouraging and supportive with my initial decision for a less invasive procedure and also displayed the same level of encouragement and guidance when I ultimately decided for a more extensive surgery. I never felt pushed or swayed by Dr. Bassichis, which has not been the case with other surgeons I interviewed. I came in today for follow up on my scar. I am EXTREMELY pleased with the results from temporary fillers. I had a depression on the tip of my nose and a raised scar on the side of my face. The fillers made the pores on my nose look much smaller (as the hole was filled in) which was really bothering me--and I cant even tell there used to be anything wrong with it. I didn't have any expectations when we did this procedure, because I didn't want to be disappointed. The results were immediate and almost perfect. So this IS A HUGE RELIEF. My other issue is 95% better than when I first came in and Im hoping it keeps getting better. Thanks for improving the quality of my life. Im really happy that Im getting good results. I went to Dr Bassichis for a consult to determine which non-surgical procedure/ treatment he would advise for elasticity, pore size and overall aging (more sagging- I don't really have wrinkles). I'm 42 years old and follow a daily regimen, receive Botox every 4-6 months in my brow and try to invest in a MD level facial treatment every 12-18 months (such as a laser, microneedling, series of peels, etc) I asked him to advise me as if money isn't a concern and if he were me which treatment would be the best results. He told me two things; filler in my high cheek bone/ under eye and pico-sure laser treatment (package of 3). I got the filler that day and scheduled the 3 pico-sure treatments. To my shock and surprise, the filler literally lasted 5 days (costing me $1500). This was a huge disappointment! I was hopeful that the $2,000 pick-sure would provide me with better results. The treatments have to be spaced out so it's been 9 months since my first one and I'm so sad that I literally can't see one difference in my skin. My before and after photos look almost identical. The technician, Jennifer (who was super nice and friendly) thought she could see a slight pore reduction but I also started a new Retinol line by Obagi at the same time which I think did more for my skin than the filler and laser (only cost $75). I did tell Jennifer how disappointed I was. She was understanding and offered to take photos a second time, which were the same in my opinion. In the end, there was no resolution offered, no concern over the fact that I spent $3500 with this doctors office and had no results. I'm just so frustrated but feel like this probably happens a lot and clients are just expected to accept that results vary. I think "no results" should warrant a customer service resolution where the client feels they received the services/ results they were sold. I don't usually post reviews but wonder if others experienced the same as me and I'd want to know before spending a large sum of money. I've been to lots of medspas, dermatologist and laser centers in Dallas and over all this was my worst experience. :( read more

This review is long overdue, 7 years overdue. Now, at that time I'm not sure reviewing places was a big thing like it now but hey better late than never! I had a mole removal in the summer of- okay, I'm not that old, but it was about 7 years ago and it was summer, so there's that. Anyways, I did a lot of internet searching prior to choosing a plastic surgeon and I am so glad I chose this clinic. I had a birthmark a little bit bigger than the size of a quarter and ever since I can remember I always knew I would get it removed. I was 17 when I made the decision I wanted it gone from my life and I've never looked back! When I consulted with Dr. Bassichis he gave me the option of either removing half the mole and letting that heal and then take the other half off to reduce the size of the scar or option 2 which was to remove the mole completely and end up with a longer scar. Let me tell you, when you hate a mole so much that you would rather have a scar, option 2 was not even bothersome. I went with option 2. GET IT OFF. I came back a week later, laid down, and they put half my leg to sleep (notice, this was a large mole with roots, knives were used and blood was all over the gloves). Dr.Bassichis was confident, and the nurse (nurse? not sure who she was) removed the mole from my leg fairly quickly. Painless, could still feel them doing something and stretching my skin, but there was no pain in the surgery process.Day 2 was a scary sight. My mole was completely gone, stitches now took their place and the skin was purple, green, yellow and black. I was told my skin would bruise but that it should go away with time. The scariest part was how my skin was indented where the mole was removed. That, I was told would go away in the following weeks. 2 weeks passed and the bruising started getting better, the area where the mole was removed looked to be filling back to place and the stitches were removed with no problem. The clinic even offered me several laser treatments to diminish the scar! THAT my friends, is one of the most painful experiences I've ever gone through but to this day I am so glad I made that decision because my scar is barely noticeable. 7 years later and not a single regret. If I ever had to get something done, I would confidently go back to this clinic. High recommendation from this Elite. read more
