Dr Johnson is a very thorough thoughtful physician He listened to my concerns and we came up with a plan to get my youth back. He's not afraid to say no to a procedure that would clearly make him money if it's not right for the patient. (I didn't like being told no but that's how it goes sometimes) He's done thermage for my legs years ago..and it looked great but it's time for a new round of treatment. Thermage hurts and I cussed many times during treatment But def Will I do it again Hell yes. It tightened up my thigh skin and got rid of elephant knees But now I'm here for my face that has fallen into a jowly mess We are doing filler and I'm excited to see the results.. Thermage= hot iron on my thighs & rear end for 6 hours. I love how they spend a whopping 2 mins looking at you...scribble 5k & wham bam thank you mam! Come and get an iron for 6 hours! Results 6-9 months huh? Well I went in Aug and I'm patiently waiting! Pretty office, casual staff, but I would have been happy to pay for real results. I spent over 5K for????? I'm not seeing an single difference in my cellulite after the procedure his "consultant" recommended! I'd like to see her qualifications. The doc popped in before the procedure and agreed and we proceeded. They give you some pain killers & a Xanax. But about 3 hours in I needed something more. Little did I know I was getting a freakin Fentanyl Lollipop! This stuff is 100 times stronger than morphine. Yet you are telling patients it's painless?! It took me two days to shake the Fentanyl! I was completely incoherent! Anyway, I hope to see results. I'll update at the 6 month mark & again at 9. I'm 36...not overweight...just have some cellulite that I'd like to have "burned" off please. read more

Excellent place for stem cell treatment. I was hit by a car and went through knee surgery but was still in chronic pain. About three months after stem cell treatment my pain was completely gone. The staff at Dr. Johnsons is so friendly. The nurse Lisa made me feel so comfortable during the procrdure. If you are in pain I would recommend stem cell treatment. Very Disappointed in the customer service and the so called consultant (Meredith Skembo). I was under the impression that she was professional and had the skill set. She told me if I scheduled my appointment within the month of October she would give me a discount. That said. I scheduled my appointment, paid the deposit and the day of pre-op. This so called consultant would not honor her word. It is partially my fault because I should have got the discount in writing. MEREDITH SKEMBO -is a liar. I had Thermage here. Tho Thermage is a little painful "beauty is pain". The Thermage is wonderful. I'm in my late 30s and I could pass for early 20s, plus I thought I was going to need a tummy tuck but after Thermage I am more than confident in a two piece. I went for a consultation at the Dallas location after seeing Dr. Johnson numerous times on GMT. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I just kept thinking how unprofessional and lacking the office and staff seemed to be. The girl behind the counter was wearing a hoodie...ok, I love hoodies, but not reallly what I want to see when I go to a doctor's office specializing in cosmetic procedures. Another girl came out and invited me back to her office where she spent about 5 minutes with me. Maybe I'm just jaded by the professionalism I've experienced with other offices like North Dallas Dermatology. Dr. Johnson's staff could use a lesson in professionalism from this staff! To each his own, I guess, but I found it too difficult to trust any procedure I might consider having at this office. read more

I had SmartLipo performed by Dr. Johnson. You are sedated but still quite awake while he performs the procedure. I had my abs and stomach done. During the surgery he hit a place that was not numb. I screamed out that I could feel it. It was like someone was burning me with a torch. He told me to "STOP" and pressed harder. I started crying. He said "I'm almost done! Do you want it done or not!" One of his staff members held my shoulders down because I was moving from the burning. I was crying so much he stopped, threw his tools down and said "Done!" In a frustrated angry voice. Then exited the room. The staff stayed quiet as they bandaged me up. I could not believe this had happened. read more

Thermage does little to nothing, very uncomfortable and overall just not worth the money. If I could go back in time I would definitely save a little more and get the appropriate solution. I looked at my before and after pictures, and they are not impressive in the least. As far as the technician and Doctor Johnson, they provide excellent care and a great attitude. The receptionist at the front is always very kind and courteous. Overall, I will use Innovations Medical again in the future, however I would never recommend anyone going through thermage, the procedure is expensive and very, very painful. Another patient complained about the super morphine lollipop they give you for the pain, but personally I don't care that I got a great nights sleep, that lollipop is 100% NEEDED for the procedure. read more

zero stars. The doctor wont see you for a consultation but some lady whose medical credentials are unknown to me quickly tells you the price of everything you will pay for without seeing you naked, asking about your health, or going into detail. It doesn't matter how far you travel, you will not see the doctor. He schedules his patients back to back and will leave the operating room to do your 1 week, 4 month and six month check up (he doesn't want to talk to you about your concerns longer than a minute... there's someone in the OR waiting on him). The day you come in for surgery will be the first time you ever see the doctor in person. He will spend all of five minutes with you and ask "what do you want done?" and as you talk he will say "ok, ok, ok" takes out his pen and draws you up and then leaves you waiting in the room. A nurse will give you a cocktail of pills and ask you to go into a photo room, then to a waiting room. You're waiting because he is still conducting surgery on another patient. There is literally minutes in between when the last patient and you are operated. Once your number is up, you are asked to go on the operating table. The medicine kicks in and you're "drunk", relaxed but still are cohearant. At first the lipo doesn't hurt and you feel tugs here and there, but then there are sensitive areas where he hits. His information packet says that if you feel pain to let him know- so you do... and what does he tell you... NOTHING. He keeps on and you twitch and he YELLS at you to stay still. And you feel pain and he says "STAY STILL. I CAN HURT YOU". Well duh, if I didn't feel pain I wouldn't be twitching. Im sure he counts on you not remembering, or he's raking in the cash because he charges just as much a Certified Plastic Surgeon... which he is NOT. I had to use the restroom in the middle of the surgery. He was upset. I had no help up and I had to walk by myself to the bathroom (which is accross the hall, not too far) and blood was dripping all the way to the bathroom and I slipped on the floor. I got back up, peed and then stumbled right back up to the table where I was greated with an attitude. Once It was all over, my mother dressed me and she walked me to the car. No one opened any door for her, not even the front door. She was so upset. It felt as if I went to Tijuana Mexico and got a fly by night doctor. He is expensive. I'm consulting with a Certified Plastic Surgeon and immediately see the difference in how im treated. The cost... is the exact same as his clinic but the service is wonderful. I spent 30 minutes with the certified plastic surgeon and he brought with him into the room all his before and after pictures for me to look at. We discussed my skin texture and all my health history and what he can do to "revise" the crappy work Dr J did. Finally, after all we discussed in detail he sent me to see his nurse who does the billing. Not the otherway around Dr J's work isnt great. I had an original surgery and then a year later a revised surgery. It's still not what he advertises. The surgeon I'm seeing now said explained how Dr J should have done it right. He didnt treat me bad the first time, but I was on camera. The revision surgery was a horrible experience. He accomplishes not to kill you and yes- he removes fat. He is not artistic and cannot sculpt - he simply removes fat. Don't expect him to put any thought into what you are expressing (concerns or what you're expecting) - to him, you're a cash cow and that's it. read more

warning do not go to this place i had the worst experience ever. if i could give a zero i would. first of all they dont have this stuff together in this place. maribeth the coordinator makes you feel like you are 5 years old. the doctor during my arm and leg smart lipo made me cry during my procedure. i was not numb at all and in the middle of all of this he yelled at me and said if i didnt stop crying that he would immediately stop everything refund my money. i closed my eyes and prayed so hard and just let him finished. it was so painful and in the middle of my procedure i was regretting being there. the next day i called the emergency line to ask the doctor a question about one of my arms and i got a phone call back from him and the first thing he said was that i should not be calling him and that thats why there is a handbook given and to read it, then he hung up on me. yesterday 11/8 was my follow up and while i was there in the waiting room there were other ladies there filling out paperwork and maribeth was the only one in the front desk and she started to talk about a patient about her procedure infront of me ( that is a hippa violation ) she was letting the patient know about her abs and i noticed the patient had a question and she wanted to ask but at the same time not allow ppl to listen and maribeth kept going and going about how sex can hurt her abs after treatment and that its best to avoid and so forth when i finally saw the nurse i told her that the one of garments was loose and that if i could get a smaller size, which the nurse ( i think she is from puerto rico) brought me a smaller size and helped me put on my compressor garments. i had bought some at walmart and the dr said that those were cutting my circulation at the top and let him know that the ones they gave me, one arm did not want to stick and was loose. so the nurse brought me a smaller size which was the one that she helped me put on. on my way home i noticed when i bend my arms that it was hurting and so i called back and a call center answered and they said i could go back and get a smaller size . so long story short they did not want to change the size and today 11/9 i calles maribeth and she yelled at me saying she was not going to change it. she then said that the dr didnt say to get a change it and that the ones that i had bought at walmart were fine (which maribeth was not in the room during my follow up examination) i payed 4,000 for my arms and thighs and was treated horribly during the procedure and they dont even care for my recuperation. dont go here find another dr that will take care of you and wont treat you inhumane . i dont understand how drs like this have a license! I had smart lipo/tickle lipo back in March 2018. At each followup appointment I asked this Dr why my upper abdomen still looked bloated in comparison to lower abdomen was classic, give it time to tighten. I did so, months. So I go back 9/19 to my followup appointment and he says after all this time, "I didn't do the upper abdomen just the lower, that will be another$2500??" So why would you just do the lower when I asked for ALL of it and why would I only want that portion done, my lower abdomen was already flat, dude?? So this Dr is just out for money but not from my wallet, not to mention the knots that are visable and palpable by touch, which he never addressed. I'm a nurse who is a single mother and don't appreciate the rip off games from this Dr and I was referred to him by another nurse. I have filed complaints with MD board, BBB and I will not stop until I'm refunded my money from this joke. Keep looking. Poor bedside manner and in a rush to get to the next sucker. read more

I have been researching Thermage and Lipo for some time but have not yet committed but I have met with the staff at Innovations MedSpa a few times and they have been so helpful in making my decisions. My experience was one of the most horriable I've ever had. I was bruised and in severe pain for more than a month. I couldn't work for six weeks. What is worse the results were minimal on the ab lipo, no change on the facial fat transfer and the lipo on the neck and jowls area looks worse than before. At least the lose skin was symetrical, now its not. Be sure and check everything you sign, once you sign you do not have any recoarse. read more
