The first operation I had to stay overnight in the hospital. The second operation left me with a cut in my chest. I discovered my cut after leaving the hospital. My famy called his after hour line. When I went io his office this man denied cutting me on my chest. You no good lying loser. I will forever have this scare!!! He is a no good liar. That explains why he bandaged me up around my chest to cover the injury. I woke up with severe pain in my chest and had my mom help remove the bandages just to discover what he did. Everyone who was in that surgery room knows what he did to me. I have suffered tremendous nerve damage and mental distress. I dont know how he looks in the mirror each day and still has his license! I am not the only one he has injured. I wish I would've looked up his record on the state medical board before he touched me. How they have him contracted to work on injured employees is scary. He not fit to treat an animal. It proves after the state took his license and he went to prison, he dont deserve to have his licence as a physican. If it was an accident then he should have treated my injury and apologized! INSTEAD HE LIED AND TRIED TO COVER IT UP! NEVER TOOK RESPONSIBLITY AND LEFT ME TO SUFFER! Dr. Andre has been practicing for over 35 yrs. She truly will give you a lesson when it comes eye health, surgery on the eyelids, do's and don's. She is a surgeon. Not just an ophthalmologist. She will basically call it what it is, if you ask a question about need vs "claims" to need. However, she is not about " short schedules" ( she is chatty) she gets a staff reminder, someone else is waiting. . My eye exam results (L) same (R) different. I received a prescription for only one eye. (they do not normally make one lense) that caused a problem, and w ability to read, and for both eyes not just 1. I again paid for another eye exam with another ophthalmologist that confirmed that my right eye prescription off by a couple of clicks. So back to eyeglasses place to have the lenses remade. My wife's eye exam was straight forward. However the bill was not just for an eye exam, whatever the claim, it was based upon time spent? It was a routine eye exam, nothing more.

Called their office phone & informed by different group that his Office was actually OUT OF BUSINESS and I would have to make appointment to be seen by one of their doctors (she verified they had my records from Dr Herman) my clearance from Texas Retina was only good for 90 days! ( it had only been 30) but persons attitude was poor & I declined further contact with them and chose to start over elsewhere! I have no complaints with Dr Herman but with Business Admin/Staff!!!

During the appointment, after numerous test, they told me the sugery would be done in Dallas, but the post opt would be done in Greenville. My wife listened to both conversations. I arranged for my son to take off work to drive us. When I called the office to set up the schedule for the surgeries, I was told the post opt. would also be in Dallas. Therefore making 4 trips into Dallas. I did not feel right asking my son to take off 4 days of work. Then I asked for copies of records on the first visit and was told they could not that day, maybe :tomarrow" and woujld have to wait till Friday so the doctor could approve it (this was on Tuesday) This is not right. I am 82 years old and wasted my medicare on this. I was lied to by the office twice by the office personnel. I am going to have to spend hundreds of dollars ou of picked for my cateract workup somewhere else.
