I have come to once again to Yelp after some years to sing the praises once again for Advanced Health Pharmacy, the one on Oakland near Centre. The main pharmacists and others since have invariably been attentive and helped above and beyond the general care and caring. It has grown since the 22 years when I began as a customer. In all that time I have received exceptional attention. Once, recently, a single prescription was not delivered on time and when I called to find out what the happened the response was surprise with immediate remedying of the situation and bountiful apologies. Only once in 22 years and yet here on Yelp I read two negative reviews. Hard to figure out how that could have happened. One of the worst pharmacies I've ever used. The first month they did pill packs with scripts I wasn't even on listed. Then month after month there were struggles to get simple things completed. I have waited over a month for refills with no movement, last week my husband followed up on these scripts and was told they weren't filling them since I already had a refill. I have new insurance and these aren't controlled substances so my husband reiterated to fill it now. Today after my husband received a refill and I spoke to the driver asking where mine was. I called the pharmacy and was transferred twice on my lunch break. I gave up and am finding a new pharmacy for myself and my family because they have proven once too many times by delaying scripts and writing the wrong scripts on pill packs they can't be trusted. Our health is at stake with these people. read more

Thru this whole Covid-19 pandemic Advance Health Pharmacy has been a life saver there professional staff. There patient concerns. If any body ever needs there services I recommend them to any one. I wish I could give 0 stars. The worst services I've ever experienced especially because this is a pharmacy. My doctor submitted a prescription over a month ago for life sustaining supplies that I need and I can't tell you how many times I have had to follow up on the supplies. First they said they didn't receive script, then they said they had to request authorization from my insurance since Durable Medical Equipment (DME). After not hearing anything for over a week about authorization I called back and they said they did not hear back from insurance. I called insurance who said they never received request for authorization and further more authorization is not needed since supplies are not over a certain amount. Insurance called Advance Health on 4/8/24 and explained. I followed up immediately and was told I will receive supplies within a few days. THANK GOD I HAVE ANOTHER COMPANY CARRYING ME UNTIL MY INSURANCE PICKS UP. read more

Great experience setting appointment for a PCR test - the process to register on line went smoothly and our results returned within less than 24 hours which isn't a guarantee so we were pleasantly surprised. The testing center was clean, staff was professional and efficient. read more

Advanced Pharmacy has done a great job not only in processing PCR tests quickly, but also in alerting the patient to the results. I received my results approximately 18 hours after my test (amazing!) and was notified by email, text and a phone call! I'll certainly use this service again!! Arun has been our pharmacist for years and years. My family has dealt with chronic health issues for a while now and we have never found such a kind and compassionate pharmacist as we have in Arun. The best! Used to go to meijers pharmacy but after they kept screwing up We started coming here. The best choice We made so far. What sealed this 5 star review was this: one weekend ago, we forgot to refill a prescription before they closed. We called there emergency number and they came back about 3 hours later after they closed! They were nice and friendly even after ruining there weekend. Awesome business! read more

Someone in this pharmacy made a life threatening mistake when preparing prepackaged medication for an 80 yr old woman. The mistake put her in the hospital for 3 days.
