I'm out of heart meds, need my defibrillator checked, need my heart checked, and they want to play games. Good luck finding ANYONE who will get off their lazy butts and answer a phone, won't happen! Reading reviews, i see that this is a common issue as well as people waiting for HOURS in the waiting room, but they charge YOU if you are not on time? Sue their ignorant asses until they learn that EVERYONE'S time is valuable. Send them a bill at the very least. If your heart doesn't matter, and you really don't care if you live or die, by all means, wait on this bunch of ass-clowns. If you matter to ANYONE, including yourself, if you have self respect, or if you just believe that you have more life to live, then FIND A REAL DOCTOR AT A REAL PLACE OF BUSINESS.

My Opinion of course - AVOID this place. My Dr has been an MD for forty years. He referred me to…read morethis place to get a STRESS test. They called and an appointment was set. I told them at this time I lived far away but was ready to do the STRESS test. Quizzed them on the phone and in person what I needed to do to prepare for a STRESS test. Vague responses.......... First warning sign, they don't take checks or cash. (On every US bill it states that this note is legal tender for all debts public and private.) They require payment BEFORE anything is done, similar to fast food places. My copay was $176. which means Medicare was billed close to $900. They took my blood pressure (I can do that at home) and did an EKG. A TV commercial says the app is less than $89 and you can reuse it hundreds of times. Listened to so many negative medical terms one would have thought I was brought there by hearse. Never did get a STRESS test other than trying my patience. I supplied the Xray and CAT scan info from a different doctor. Was told they might try to schedule the real STRESS test closer to my home. Have not heard from them. Now that they got my money (and yours if you are a taxpayer) it is possible I will never hear from them. It has my blood boiling even more two days later. At 77 years old I think they can use the STRESS test equipment for a suppository. I might die before I would go back there and be happier knowing that they aren't going to do the bait and switch with me again. Remember this: I was being extremely kind in the approach I took as I typed this.

Let's…read morejust say that this place probably had all the people of Texarkana in the emergency room when we went, and they were some interesting people. The doctor we met was nice, but did nothing to clean out/irrigate my mom's very deep dog bite. He did correct my sub par medical patch up job (sorry, I was on a road trip trying to move my family and their angry dog so I didn't have the best first aid stuff with me), but he did zero to keep her wound from getting infected or make sure her wound was patched up. She didn't even get fresh band aids out of it. He then ordered two antibiotic shots for her, which should have been a 20-30 minute wait time, but 2 hours later, and after asking the very surly nurse two to three times about my mom's status, she finally got her shot, and then an hour later her discharge papers came through. Had I known we were going to get treated/ not treated behavior like this, I would have just had my mom wait until she got home the next day. You can definitely tell that patient satisfaction is not the top of their priority list. Now why did I give three stars and not less than that? You can tell this place is the only medical treatment place for a lot of people. Whole families brought their family members in for just regular check ups under the guise of an "illness". This tells you the horrible state of medical care in this country, that an emergency room is the only way you can get seen by a doctor for all problems. The fact this place was this packed on a weekday night says a lot about how cuts to medical care in our country are affecting small towns. The cramped waiting area from the amount of people here, seeing what families were coming in for just basic medical care, and how frustrated the staff was because of the amount of cases, is a reflection of how our medical care in this country is broken. Would I come back here? No, I would rather bleed out than put up with the lack of care you receive here. At least with my sad attempt at first aid, I would do it with a smile.
