Needed a new battery for my car key fob. I called to make sure they were open and that they could change the battery for this model. He said yes, absolutely. I popped over right then and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The man who helped me was incredibly friendly and the whole process was very easy. I would absolutely go back here for other key needs. They also have a small parking lot so it makes it easy. I can't imagine that it gets very busy, so parking should always be pretty simple. The Englewood location is a nice one between Kenmore and Sheridan. So, relatively easy to get to if this is a neck of the woods that you frequent. read more

Once again advance got the job done. I have a key fob to get into my apartment and I'm constantly losing it or misplacing it and I get locked out of my building. I stopped by today and the owner Dan Sr. made me a replacement fob so anytime this happens I can rest assured I can get in my building . Took 5 minutes and It was less expensive than I thought too! Great place to get a quick copy of a key for a great price. I visited on a Monday morning after receiving a reply about my e-mail regarding price. They have the best prices for house keys - $2 plus tax, another location told me up to $5 plus tax for a single house key, absurd! (I only asked about house keys) They also had parking space. When I went to get a copy of the keys, it took less than 2 minutes for two keys! The keys work great, are high quality and they were very efficient at having the key made. These guys are THE BEST. They installed two new locks and a doorknob for me after other "locksmiths" butchered my doors. Both times they came right on time, calling to tell me when they were en route. They rekeyed everything very quickly and gave me as many keys as I wanted. Early this spring my car developed an issue with the car key sticking in the ignition. After trying to address the issue myself & failing, I took my car in. They worked on it for over half an hour, and were close to recommending that I take it into the dealer. However, they came up with a plan for jerry-rigging it instead. Worked seamlessly for many months before I traded the car in for an entirely seperate issue. They saved me $$$ and a lot of anxiety. Advanced Lock & Key are the best locksmiths around! They have performed work on our car (with a transmission key), installed keyless entry in our home (which I love) and also fixed a handle on an older bi-fold door and are the only place we get key copies made (because the keys ALWAYS work! I've gone to the big box hardware stores and it's a crapshoot on whether the duplicate key will work). They are a family-owned business and always a pleasure to deal with. They came out the following weekend seemed professional, keep in mind there is a code for all medeco keys, in which they record.
