When we arrived, you could smell cleaning supplies, but the place was still a mess. Food in cup holders, toilet paper dispensers ripped out of the wall, damaged furniture like the previous guests had a real rager that need in a brawl, like a standing lamp, a table lamp, a glass table and literally 1/2 the chairs outside were ripped in two, and we had to wash all the sheets that had visible makeup and gook? on them just like the living room furniture. We kept throwing pillows and gross stuff into the closet so we didn't have to look at it. There were 13 of us who were all happy to look past the damage. Then we tried to use the hot tub. It NEVER worked. Never turned on Bubbles, maintenance came to clean out the filter and then bubbles ran for about 30 seconds then off again. For the first 5 days, the hot tub never got hot for the adults, then once it did, the hot tub was over 106 degree (surpassing health regulations) and so was the pool!! If the pool was cold, the hot tub was cold, if the hot tub was hot the pool was hot and the hot tub timer with the bubbles NEVER worked which was confirmed by an employee that came and took photos and admitted the timer wasn't functioning. 20 minutes later we received a text that it was confirmed everything was perfect - which was a flat out lie. This management company will piss off more people than it will help and will make your guests so angry - I wonder if the damage was retaliation, not a big party.

Think she might've had a lot on her plate? Me too. And yet, she took the time to listen patiently to my needs - even asking a few questions to clarify certain points - prior to letting me know her company no longer provided management services. You're wondering why she would do that, right? I mean, why just not tell me that wasn't what they did and wish me good luck? That's what every other company did. But, nope, I had come upon a real professional and, beyond that, a kind human being. Hannah gave me the name and number of a top-notch property management company and even sent me a follow up email regarding the referral. She also personally called the property management company and sent them an email as well. Talk about customer service! "Please let me know how it goes, Robin. I'm here for you." Read that sentence again and realize this woman wasn't getting a sale or commission of any kind. Let that sink in. As things would have it, the initial referral didn't go as planned. Once again, I phoned Hannah. Once again Hannah patiently took the call despite Ian being on her doorstep at that point. Hannah researched other options for me while she was AT HOME DURING A HURRICANE. I mean, it's ridiculous. But she felt that much of a need to make sure we were okay. Once applied , the person dodged our calls and emails after taking our application fees for weeks and then finally said "oh someone else applied and it's pending". No one else applied before we did , the manager dragged their feet for weeks after 27 phone calls and 8 emails. I look forward to their response on this one with some altered fabrication of Reality.

If you are looking for a property manager to assist with rental, I would recommend Sundance. They have many properties throughout town that they work for to rent out. Bill was very clear about what I was to be responsible for and what they would take care of. There was an initial payment of $100 so that they can start getting the listing up. There is someone that will be doing my cleaning for about $75 and the Property Management company will be finding someone to do my repairs prior to rental. Loads of stress of of me!
