2/24/25 My PA wanted me to get an ultrasound to get checked out. I called and the worker was kind and set up an appointment for me on Thursday. Told drink lots of water. 2/27/25 Day is already hers. Arrived & checked in. Greeted by a great worker after a short wait. Checked in and given paper to confirm and shortly later, not even 5 minutes, I was called back! Very kind, welcoming worker called me back. She was Great! Easy to talk to. She did the ultrasound. Very simple & quick! Wished me a good day and left! GREAT! It's a really beautiful medical imaging facility! Calm, safe & clean! Honestly, I couldn't get over how simple and quick it was. Plus, Great service and it was very much appreciated! The front end staff is very rude. I've never encountered such an unwillingness to help. I was directed to the kiosk to check in and when I informed them the kiosk was having glitches and freezing one person that works upfront became very argumentative. Having to have imaging done can be very stressful and to have someone be rude and unprofessional right before your procedure is extremely disappointing and off putting. read more

I've been here about 4 times. Currently expecting and I had switched OB providers and this was one of the few US places he refers his clients to. Pros: -Once they get referrals scheduling calls immediately to make an appointment. Each time I've talked to a representative they've been really nice and pleasant to talk to. -Place is clean -Front Desk is also nice, with each appointment they ask for ID and Insurance card -Some of the US techs are kind and compassionate -you get a copy of your US results a few days on MyChart -they call you exactly on time at your appointment time or at close to the time -my oop expense is cheaper Cons: -They don't do printout for expecting mothers ( you are allowed to take some photos) -No recordings of FHR or of any kind -you have to have a full bladder -they only have 2D I might have been spoiled with my first child with VCH and their more advanced technology. I've never been to another US facility other than VCH before coming here. And I was taken back they didn't provide printed/ emailed photo copies because their machines are limited. They only have 2D. I also never had to hold my bladder before which is the worst part of the whole experience in my opinion. At my 1st OB US visit here my bladder was so full I was in so much pain and I couldn't move I wanted to cry and my US tech didn't care which made my experience just terrible. My recent visits there after was similar but this time after doing a quick scan of my pelvis they were all kind enough to have me use the bathroom and release a small amount just to help alleviate some pain and I was so thankful. Overall this place isn't terrible, I just felt it was alittle down grade from my past experience. I really enjoy the fast scheduling service. read more

First time getting a mammogram at this location. I've gone to the Radin Center for years. New doctor, new referrals. This imaging center is on the SW corner of Palm and Herndon, way in the back corner. Not busy when I arrived. Only two ladies waiting and two employees behind the desk. Masks are still required, just FYI. Quick check in. I only had to wait about five minutes and a tech came out to get me. She showed me where to change and was back to get me in just a few minutes. The exam was quick and painless. The tech was very nice and explained the procedure as she did the exam. In just a few minutes, she directed me back to the changing area, and I was soon walking out the front door before my actual appointment time! read more

Worst ever don't go here!!! Ultrasound tech was very rude and didn't take her time to scan my lump in my armpit. She rushed my ultrasound and it felt like she wanted me to hurry up and get out. I called yesterday to ask about their handicapped accessibility and was told no worries, you can park right outside the front door. What they failed to say is we only have 2 handicapped spots so you'll need to park halfway across the parking lot and hike over with your walker to our building. What medical facility only puts 2 handicapped spots in? They don't have automatic doors to assist at the entrance and only one handicapped accessible dressing room. I would say this facility is not really to handicapped friendly. They just do the minimum to get by. I give them a 2 stars because my tech was great. read more

I arrived early to my Saturday morning visit to be informed by the front desk that they were unable to verify my insurance due to it being a Saturday and the network system for my insurance system being down. I was informed after 20 minutes waiting for them attempting to verify my insurance that my appointment would have to be cancelled. I had provided my insurance to the scheduler 3 days earlier, but they had failed to verify benefits prior to my Saturday arrival. I have a high deductible insurance plan and with it being only March I knew I had not meet my deductible and I would be financially responsible for the full cost of the visit. I inquired about the cash price for the visit and agreed to pay up front to avoid cancellation and requested that AMI verify my insurance the next business day and submit the claim on my behalf. I was informed by the front desk that billing insurance without prior verification of benefits was "against their policy" despite the fact that I was paying for the visit up front. While I can appreciate policy and stand by a similar policy in my own private practice with the need to verify benefits prior to an appointment. Refusing to submit a claim to insurance AFTER a patient pays for the visit cash up front to ensure that discounts are given for being an in-network provider and application of payment is going toward the patient's deductible is irrelevant to why that policy is in place in the first place. I went around and around with the front desk person and eventually requested she contact her supervisor to discuss their refusal of a basic billing task on behalf of their patient. I was informed by the front desk that her supervisor stood by the "policy" that a claim would not be submitted on my behalf since insurance verification was not done prior to the appointment. The fact that my insurance was not verified when I scheduled was the fault of the AMI staff. I paid $400 for the visit up front to avoid cancellation and reschedule and due to AMI's lack of patient service I now have to request a bill with proper CPT codes and EIN numbers and deal with my insurance myself. There is zero reason why a billing office cannot electronically submit a claim to an insurance plan they are in-network with when the patient has agreed from the beginning to burden financial responsibility on themselves to ensure the appointment stays intact. While I don't blame the office staff and realize she was just the messenger, the fact that the supervisor doesn't have a basic understanding why a policy like that would be in place in the first place and be able to differentiate why my situation would not apply is ridiculous. read more

My first time going here. It's a nice building. Very clean. I came to my appointment early because I was asked to. Wait was long. Watched several people that arrived after me be called up and I just sat and sat and waited. The person doing my ultra sound seemed nice. She performed the test my dr had ordered and then decided to do another test but didn't explain to me why we were doing the test. I am a sexual abuse survivor and that isn't really okay with me. I want to know ahead of time what test or tests are at coming at me. I would have brought a friend with me if I'd have known. She didn't explain what she was doing before she did it. It was painful. I would have taken some Tylenol or anti anxiety medication ahead of time. At the very end of the test she explained she was having a hard time getting an image of my ovaries. Why all the pressure and painful uncomfortable digging around happened. My test results stated that even after all that no image of my ovaries was obtainable. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My wife has a lump in her breasts that was sent to imaging cause it's been there for "longer than normal" according to the doctor. She got turned away from an ultrasound because she had our daughter with her. They offered another appointment a month away. What place will turn away a medical visit due to a child being with their mom. I had no idea places discriminate against mothers. What a pathetic excuse for a "medical" place. read more

This office has the worst people in scheduling I have ever experienced. We were referred for an ultrasound. 3 months later and many phone calls on my part and still no appointment scheduled. I even have called once at 3pm, their office hours being till 5pm but was sent to the message service and when i called back was told they were almost closed thats why they didnt answer. After all this time and calling them 3 days in a row we are being told that they received previous ultrasound report but did not request the actual scan. Because they did not do that we are being told that we need to send them another request and then wait even longer for previous doctor to send the actual scan before we are even scheduled. The people in scheduling I have spoken to have all been rude, and unprofessional. Having my doctor send me to a different place where they care about their patients. read more

It was my first visit here, I came in for a ultrasound following up on my 21 weeks of gestation. First desk was friendly and helpful checked me in arriving time 30 minutes before actual appointment but seen soon after appointment time. My ultrasound tech was helpful and friendly, started off with my measurements then to baby, only down fall is that they do not print out ultrasound photos for you here and you are unable to take videos of your ultrasound. My review was not solely based on the no kid policy- although this is my fourth child and I've had kids with me at almost every ultrasound I've ever had so I do believe that policy is ridiculous. I would certainly hope the u/s techs are just as well trained as all of the other wonderful ultrasound techs I've had over the years. I wrote the review about the fact no one communicated the policy to me despite speaking with three separate people before my appointment, nor was it on any of the appointment reminder notes sent through my chart. My review was also based on the treatment I received from the manager when I asked to speak to her- rude, demeaning, and overall extremely unhelpful. All of which was unaddressed by the reply of the "owner" of this facility. I stand by my 1 star and would give 0 if I could. read more

I was nervous leading up to it, but once I was there and met Laura (my tech) she put me at ease and walked me through the whole process, explaining things as it went. I went on a Saturday and Pai Vang was super nice and sweet! She had told me there was a mix up on the time of the appointment they had told me 10:30 but the appointment was actually at 3. But Pai was sweet enough to ask if they can squeeze me in since I was already there and with such kindness she spoke to the nurses and asked and they were able to squeeze my mom in at 10:30 than at 3 so I wouldn't have to come back again. Got some lab work done when I was pregnant and I just love the professionalism here. Super easy going , they sign you in and you're called pretty close to your exact appointment time. I feel super comfortable while I was seen and and told of the result right after the scan. They will also send the information to your doctor and you'll have a physical copy of the results as well. They don't print ultrasounds for parents. All my friends that have kids had no problem getting photo from their ultra sound techs.

I attempt to use other firms. 1) they don't do walk-in even when requested by a physician. 2) calling in for an appointment 8a: 12th in the Q presses the key for a call -back, 1pm no call back yet... 3) 2nd attempt called for appointment; so far, 40 minutes on hold. 4) on-line appointment scheduling is confusing and not trustworthy 4) staff are friendly and professional if you can get in there.... read more
