I did this after receiving text confirmation for my appointment on the 5th. They called back and said she would do it and send me the new estimate. 2/05/25 The day has arrived! Checked in and told I would be called shortly. Great workers! Greeted by many. Great office! Love the butterflies. Brought back to a room, blood pressure taken along with going over allergies. Told Dr. Behr would be here shortly to mark me to mend and a nurse would be next to numb ear. Then Dr. Behr would get started. A bit more waiting. Very busy! Thankful she made time to fit me in. Greeted by Dr. Behr who marked me up. Then the nurse greeted. She was funny! She numbed me and Dr. Behr came shortly later to fix it. Didn't feel a thing and worker helping was very kind. Checked up on me. She did it in less than 20 min. Awesome! Paid for it after that and appointment scheduled to go back in a week to get sutures removed. Great service & great ear lobe repair. I left messages requesting a call back, but still have not heard from Dr. Behr regarding her response to my review. I remain willing to discuss a resolution directly with her. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my experience, I feel it is important to warn others before they spend thousands of dollars here. I paid a $250 deposit and an additional $3,575, for a total of $3,825, for filler and Botox treatments performed by Dr. Desai. From the very first follow-up appointment, I repeatedly told the medical assistant that I was unhappy with my results. At every appointment, I explained that I had developed small bumps underneath my eyes, that my marionette lines were not improving and continued to show bumps, and that I was disappointed with how everything was turning out. Dr. Desai also injected my nasolabial folds, yet those lines are still visible. Despite repeatedly expressing my concerns, I felt they were dismissed instead of being taken seriously. During my appointments, Dr. Desai told me that the Botox she had recommended interfered with the fillers. That statement left me questioning why that treatment plan had been recommended in the first place. If I was being told that one treatment interfered with another, why would I feel comfortable proceeding with additional procedures? At that point, my confidence in the treatment plan had been significantly diminished. I have allowed adequate time for the treatment to settle and for any improvement to occur. Given the number of injections I received and the significant financial investment I made, the outcome does not reflect the scope of the treatment. After allowing adequate time, I met with Dr. Behr to discuss my concerns. During that visit, she recommended performing additional treatment. However, I did not feel comfortable proceeding with more procedures because of the concerns I already had, including being told that the Botox recommended by Dr. Desai interfered with the fillers. I wanted my concerns addressed and understood before considering any additional treatments. During that same process, I asked Dr. Behr to review and compare my before-and-after photos because my results looked nothing like the photos I had been shown or expected. Dr. Behr refused to look at my photos or compare them. It was after this that the medical assistant made the statement that "everyone in the Central Valley knows that it doesn't last," which was extremely concerning to me given the amount of money I had invested. I also asked the office manager, Kristy, for a copy of the documentation showing my concerns from each of my visits. Kristy stated that she would send those records to me through email. To this day, I have never received the documentation she said she would provide. The documents that were provided to me did not include any statements or notes showing that I had expressed my concerns during my visits. I did everything I could to give the office an opportunity to address my concerns. Instead of feeling heard, I felt dismissed. After spending $3,825, I expected professional care, honest communication, and accountability when I expressed that I was unhappy with my results. Because of my experience, I cannot recommend this practice. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before investing a significant amount of money. I am requesting a full refund of the $3,825 I paid. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. The office stayed in contact with me, arranged a very convenient pre-procedure phone appointment, and coordinated my surgery date. When I arrived, everything went seamlessly. Cosmetic procedures are not inexpensive, and this was the most money I have ever spent on myself. I can honestly say it was also the best money I have ever spent. Until you go through a procedure like this, you may not realize how much happens behind the scenes for just one patient. I had an entire team--including Christine, Priscilla, Gabby, and Teresa--and every one of them played an important role. They worked together in complete unison and were professional, caring, and helpful throughout the entire process. I was prepared, positioned, numbed, and carefully guided through each step before Dr. Behr took over and performed the procedure. She was amazing. Although I am only three days into my recovery, I am already very happy with my results. I was also impressed by how fairly the practice treats its patients financially. My consultation fee was only $50, while many practices charge $100 to $150. That immediately told me they were not trying to take advantage of patients from the beginning. I had also seen that some practices charge an additional $100 to $150 for the required post-surgery compression garment. Dr. Behr's office provided mine at no additional charge. That may seem like a small detail, but it meant a great deal to me because it showed that they were not going to nickel-and-dime me throughout the process. The practice also offers several helpful ways to communicate and save money. I joined the Behr Club, which saved me a significant amount on my procedure. They also helped me sign up for Allē--the app with the halo--which allows patients to earn rewards and save money on certain treatments and products at participating providers. Be sure to ask about both programs. Because I live in Sacramento and cannot always drive to Fresno, the Allē program will be especially valuable to me. I had researched and visited practices in Sacramento but never felt completely comfortable with any of them. They answered all my questions they made the process a breeze and I was able to secure an appointment 3 days after I called. They scheduled us with Dr. Saunders. So the morning of our appointment I got a little lost lol they have a really big building and I ended up going into their Esthetic side. The ladies there were kind enough to redirect me. Once we entered the correct building everyone was very attentive and welcoming. We got called back right away. Dr. Saunders was AMAZING!!! He was so good with the kids, he was very kind and interactive. Dr. Saunders is very knowledgeable. He took his time explaining and educating me and all the reasons for their skin issues. And gave me multiple recommendations. He also prescribed some creams. The creams worked instantly! In a week, my kids skins were cleared and everyone was so happy! The staff members were great! Everyone was so friendly. The office is very clean. It was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend Dr. Saunders and his team here at Dr Boswell's dermatology!

It was not comforting to have the "exam room" door open and hear and see non patients walk up and down the hallway looking in my exam room. At one point during my wait the business owner's daughter came in the back door and I heard her yell for her Mom as she walked past my room. I completely understand the business owner can have whoever she would like in her office at any time (it's her business) but it's not a relaxing experience for the patients. The person injecting who I believe was the doctor (never really introduced herself) was not very friendly nor did she have professional bedside manner. She seemed disappointed and annoyed to treat a "Groupon customer." I had read another review about this and was hoping it was a fluke incident but nope, you're considered second class when you present a Groupon code. Don't forget your patients are the reason you have this business. The wait time was also unacceptable. Had I not already paid for a Groupon voucher I would have walked out. It seemed like the delay was due to a procedure gone wrong that was taking much longer than anticipated. There were 2 clients other than myself waiting for their procedure. We were asked multiple times if we wanted to reschedule but we had all already invested so much time we stuck the wait out. First and last visit at this "office." When Dr. Lopez came in my room, she didn't introduce herself, she only asked why I was there (as in what service did I come in for). We chatted for a minute when she asked how I heard about her, I said Groupon, she said ohhh, hold on, then walked outside my door and hollered at the front desk to tell them to get rid of my paper work or something to that effect and she loudly said, "she's Groupon". In my head I thought, get rid of my papers that took like 15 minutes to complete!? What if I come back? Will I have to write a book all over again? Without saying a word, She then went into the room next to me where I could hear her shuffling around for a couple of minutes. I found all of this to be impersonal and overall not so professional. It almost seemed as if it were a disgrace that I was bringing in a Groupon as a new patient. The doctor came back, she never asked about any of my previous treatments. Without explanation I was handed a vibrating metal object she said to hold it to my face, then without a word began doing forehead injections (which was previously discussed). Never have I experienced having to hold a vibrating object to my face for the purpose of trying to distract and deflect pain - these injections felt harsh and incredibly painful, making my eyes water. When she finished she sent me up front without the normal thank you for choosing us, or a nice to meet you, or a typical explanation of this may take a couple weeks before seeing all results, etc. I'd like to add, privacy and being discreet was not at the forefront. When I was taken back for pics, the previous patient's pre-photo was sitting on the counter in my view and it was again shown in plain view when one of the office girls picked up the photo. When I was led to my room to wait for the the doctor my door was left open as well as the patient's door across the hall. Unfortunately, I could hear their complete conversation. Personal health info, treatments, and diagnosis with his private care doctor. Treatment he was considering having in this office. Questions about aesthetic treatments he wanted done possibly conflicting with his current health conditions. Even though I don't know this person, it was embarrassing for me to hear their conversation as if they were in my room. I know I would have been mortified if I found out I was that patient being overheard. Bright side - ladies at the front desk were very nice. And, I will repeat, I'm pleased with the outcome of Dr. Lopez's work. However, overall I was not impressed by the lack of privacy, lack of professionalism, and a needlessly painful outcome to my procedure like I've not EVER experienced before.
