I had a very bad experience with Minarets Medical Group so, zero stars! I had made an appointment for a consultation on a laser procedure for wrinkles around my mouth. I had already had 3 consultations, 2 were no cost, one was $50. So, when I made the appointment I asked if there was a fee, and the receptionist told me there was no fee. Later in our conversation she asked for my credit card number. Again, I asked was there a fee. She said no, they just are supposed to get the credit card number on all new patients. When I went to my appt., my gps was not finding their address and although I was within a block of the place, it kept sending me around the block in the wrong direction. I called the office, explained where I was and asked for directions. The receptionist was unable to describe to me how to get there. She didn't seem to know if my location was east or west of their location. She put me on hold twice without telling me that she was going to do so. Finally, someone else got on the phone and at least sent me in the right direction. I managed to find the place. When I arrived, the receptionist seemed surly to me. Then, I saw the doctor. The entire time she seemed unable or unwilling to discuss the procedure I came to discuss. She wasn't sure if both of their lasers were working and went to go check. When she returned, she veered the conversation away from laser treatment to a different treatment and would not give me any other information. She left the office to find the price of the other procedure, not a procedure I want. I was very disappointed and confused after this conversation. When I went to leave, I was stopped and sent to someone at a desk behind reception who told me I owed $150! I told her I was told twice that there was no fee. She said she didn't know who told me that but that there was a fee. I was so angry. I told I had paid $50 for a consultation at a very well-know professional clinic and that I would be willing to pay that. She said she would check with the doctor. I waited and she returned saying that the doctor said no, I had to pay. Then she reminded me that there was a 4% charge for using a credit card. I had no checks on me. I left and they charge my card adding $5.99 to my bill! Terrible customer service. I will be seeking recourse. read more

I saw Sherri Nash two times. This is big for me because if I don't connect with a Provider on the 1st visit then I don't return. It's been over 20 years living with my itchy skin and keloids. Not only is Sherri knowledgeable she has the BEST bedside manner. Her Assistant is also amazing. I felt heard acknowledged and accepted and tremendously helped. read more

Some of the office staff, especially reception and appointment staffers are very impatient and borderline rude. When professionalism is lacking and not corrected by office supervisors, then a medical practice loses patients. I have been a patient of Dr. Press since the early 2000s, and have noticed a decline in the quality of office staffers. Bedside manners (professional courtesy) applies to every person working in a medical practice/office, not just Nurses and Doctors. read more

I was 24 when I first saw Dr. Press. I am now 60 and I still see Dr. Press. What I appreciate about Dr. Press and Minarets Medical Group is I am always able to get in, and taken care of. Rook two hours to be seen with a scheduled appointment. Office isn't very up to date and it smelled very badlh. The doctor Limonov wasted my time and money. She didn't seem very confident in herself at all in doing the botox and lip filler. Charged me $150 for information I already looked up online. Wouldn't waste my time here. Heard good things about a nurse named Sherry. Have went to another place, which did same day procedure and charged no consultation. read more

Yup, you may have to wait. Maybe even a couple of hours. I may have been the cause for your wait. Dr Press has done multiple surgical procedures to keep my skin cancer at bay. She always takes her time. Is very thorough and explains diagnosis and treatment in very understandable terms. Figure out what day procedures are scheduled and then schedule your appointment to your convenience. The staff has been friendly and professional in their treatment of me as a patient. I also have other health care professionals that may have long waiting periods such as Cardiology. When you see the best doctors in Fresno there is normally a wait for the demand on their time. This office normally has a full waiting room. I wouldn't change my dermatology treatment for another office. read more

We waited for almost 2 hours to see Dr. Press. She applied wart removal for my daughter that she is charging us $140 for, which didn't even work. Then she asked us to make an additional appointment to take care of her mole removal, which I did not do... Awful experience, will never go back. The wait once you get there is very long every time. However, their waiting room is always packed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Dr. Limova takes time with you and listens. She not only gives you a great treatment plan but some great common sense suggestions that are worth considering and trying. Highly recommend just be prepared to wait. Take a book. read more

I have been coming to Minarets for some years now. I love my doctor. She makes you feel comfortable during procedures and shes open to answer all my questions. Although my results are not where I would want them to be I know it's more of my skin being difficult and not the machines. read more

My first visit here. Efficient from when you enter the office. Following strict guidelines due to covid, keep distance, check your temperature and signs posted. Lots of information to read up on while you wait, digital as well. The receptionist could be a tad bit friendlier and welcoming, since she is the first person you speak to. Sherri Nash is the BOMB! Our family started seeing her when my kids were teens and she cured their acne. Last year she was able to get my "Elephant Man" looking rosacea under control. Now, yesterday, she was a magician and made my droopy jowls disappear! I could not believe my eyes. My laugh lines had fallen all the way down to the bottom of my chin and now, after Sherri administered one application of "filler", they are GONE! It was like she performed a miracle. I've seen Sherri Nash for 10+ years and have always had nothing but positive experiences. She is thoughtful, kind, patient and most importantly, a great listener. The wait times can sometimes be long, really just depends on the time of day you visit. I've waited over an hour for my appointment, and I've also been called within five minutes. Sherri has been able to help me with a number of dermatological issues, which has been really nice because I don't feel like she can only assist with one thing, but rather many things/everything. read more

Absolutely horrendous place to give business. Staff is extremely rude. Leah Press (supposed Dermatologist) drew on my face in the middle of me talking and was very harsh and rash when it came to my conditions. Debbie, the office manager accused me of everything at the end of the situation. As they were very dishonest when they billed my insurance one amount, me another (saying my insurance doesn't cover them which is laughable because they obviously know they do hence they keep billing insurance) and will tell you the wrong information over and over again over the telephone. I wish I could select a negative number. The wait takes forever. Dr. Press isn't even there sometimes. They bill my insurance for excessive costs and frequently overprescribe tests. And now I'm fighting with them about the crazy bills that show up 6-8 months later. Anyone is better than here. read more

My husband and I are patients. BUT... I waited over 2 hours this last July before even being called to the inner office. There was an accident in the mountains near Oakhurst and they told me their patients from that area came late so the whole day was late. I went up to the window to ask why I was waiting so long wondering if they did not see my name on the desk registration. Then my husband went last month. He witnessed a fight in the waiting room and asked the staff to call 911 (they did not). The fight continued outside and then the two men came back inside. My husband had to stand between them and calm them down. Cuss words were flying from the two men fighting about cell phone etiquette. He later asked the office manager why she had not intervened or called 911? She was clueless. Now, he requested to be the first patient for today's visit so he would not have to "WAIT". It's been over 45 minutes and he is sitting in the inner room waiting again. He decided to put his shirt back on. From a recent article about wait times in a doctors' office: Poor workflow in the office. In my practice, my staff understood how important this issue was to me. There are other ways to know if workflow is the problem but one thing is certain, if you can't see your first patient of the day on time then there's something wrong. I see that other YELP patients have the same problem. I will find another office. Watch The Founder (the story of McDonald's, Netflix) They worked and worked on "work flow" so the customer waited only seconds compared to their competition. Come on Minarets...make a difference because it is the right thing to do for your customers even if your revenue comes from insurance companies. read more

I would agree that the wait is horrible, makes me wonder if they double book. I will say though that after the long wait, Dr. Press is always very kind with good bedside manner. I was once concerned about something and she told me that I was ok. I went over and gave her a hug of relief and she seemed okay with that :) I think that if they could just figure out and do something about the waiting, their customers would be a lot happier. read more
