Not everything goes perfect as planned. Parts are made by man. Not every part bought for rebuilds are perfect. There are tons of moving parts in a automatic transmission even a manual transmission. However automatic transmissions rely on fluid pressure to make things go vroom. I am very willing to be if you take your car back for a problem they fixed he will be more than happy to make sure you are taken great care of. Mickey is a hard to catch guy when it comes to "phone calls" that's what secretaries are for. But you can catch him there most of the the time and he won't dodge you. Lot of shiesty places out there. Mickey's is by far the most affordable and smart technicians in the field. Never seen anything the man can't fix or figure out. The man will pull an entire dash board out of a vehicle find the broken wire solder and heat shrink it wrap it up like it came from the factory and have no left over bolts. Mickey stays late and will work all night if it means getting a big job done for people like travelers that just want to get back on the road. You want it done right and don't want to end up stranded go to Mickey's.

They replaced our brand new battery and charged her an additional $281.00. When I returned home I brought the battery to Interstate Battery and it tested 100% State of Health. This place takes advantage of females and charges for work that doesn't need to be done. when I confronted them with the evidence they agreed to allow me to return the battery for a refund but will not reimburse me for the labor charge of $50 and charge me an additional $50 for taking the battery out. TOTAL SCAM!!!

Randy is especially good at diagnosing electrical problems but he is good at auto repair in general. Randy is very fair on his prices and is just an all around good guy. The only reason I wouldn't give a 5 star rating to Auto Tech is that late model automobiles in some areas can't be worked on by a general mechanic shop. I don't know of a 5 star shop.
